  2. Historical unpopularity ? Compared to who /what ? Did you have the same "objective" view of President Obama's unpopularity ? Or does that only apply to President Trump ?

  3. Shark....longtime! They say Biden will get yea olde plague any minute now to avoid Trump. Trump did his thing in Virginia. That was one big crowd. No ANTIFA types I noted. Probably for the best.

  4. Yup, payback's a bitch. I see that now Pelosi is advising Biden to forego any debates! Wow, actual good advice for the old coot. Too bad he's got such a huge ego. The only way he'll decline is if one of his kids slips him some ex-lax a couple of hours before show time. They might do it for the good of the dem campaign, but no doubt the onset of some serious cramps would put him in the hospital. Call me weird, but perhaps the best way to get rid of the bloviating and otherwise overly long winded answers during a debate would be to have mandatory Ex-Lax doses taken at the start of the first question. It would be the quickest debate in history, and I suspect there would be a whole lot more agreeing just to move things along. I'm sure everything would come out okay.

  5. I hear Kamala's not campaigning too hard either. It's like their strategy is too rely on ads then wait until after the election and let their "people" decide which mail-out ballots can be counted.

  6. Justin prorogued Parliament to change the channel on the WE Scandal, and said to Canadians they had to prepare the mother of all throne speeches... and during that time the Liberals continued the hype about a massive green plan that would put people back to work and bring back on economy. Even senior Liberal officials came out and said a massive plan would be to much right now... I won't lie there are some good things in the speech, most of them had to be in there, as there was not much of a chioce. The rest of the speech I'm not sure of the investing in new green tech should have been done years ago, when they declared a climate emergency, Liberals' tout it will create a million jobs, They tout a lot of things like planting a billion trees which they have not even started, but we are lead to believe this promise is different. What it did lack was How are we going to create jobs, how are we going to start creating more small business the largest employers in the country, and yet some how our economy has to take the stage with racism, and climate change like some how these are going to bring back the economy .. I would have thought this would be the topic of the day, instead there is radio silence from everyone, could not have been as moving as Justin wanted it to be....

  7. As mentioned on Shady's profile Trump has announced his supreme court justice nominee to replace RBG - Amy Coney Barrett. Excellent choice, I think:

  8. This place goes in waves. Sometimes here....sometimes not....for a long or short period. As BC-2004 and I joke...sort of like Devil's Island and Papillion. "I'm still alive you BASTARDS!" As for getting worse. I fully expect at least a one battle Civil War. I doubt there'll be a second battle...

  9. Yeah, long time. I've lurked here occasionally but post pretty rarely these days. The more I hear about Ginsburg, the more I think she deserves to be replaced under Trump. She first got cancer around 2009 when she was 76. She had several years under Obama when he controlled the Senate, to retire and ensure someone of her own leftist leanings replaced her. 3 other Justices have done this in recent history. But not Ruth, so now it is what it is(as I'm sure others have pointed out). The Republicans control the Senate, and they get to vote in a replacement. The majority rules, that's the reality, and all of the whining and panty twisting by the Dems is not going to change that simple fact. So instead the left will incite more riots and the MSM will fan the flames by sticking microphones and cameras into the faces of criminals to let them vent. If the borders were open, I wouldn't go anywhere near US cities in November or December. I fear it will get much worse.

  10. It is those pro maskers and pro social distance fools who are keeping this Convid 19 alive and well. If it were not for those Convid followers we would all be back to the old normal life that we once had just six months ago. I would rather live and have my old normal life back rather than keep on living this new normal life which I can guarantee you that it will be sticking around for a very long time if the fools keep listening and following the orders and commands of their lying political leaders and the lying media. If one wants to keep their liberty and freedoms than stop listening to those liars I mentioned. If you want more of what we are having to put up and living with today, then keep listening to those liars I mentioned. It's your call.

  11. Trump should first ask "where am I today" Biden as to where and what day it is.It would be interesting to see what his answer would be.

  12. Voter apathy is one of the biggest factors in elections and it's often overlooked imo. In 2016 there were probably a lot of Hillary voters who thought it was in the bag, so they didn't come out, and Hillary's "deplorables" comment basically ensured that every single GOP voter in the country came out. Despite a big gap in the electoral college votes, that election was well within the margins of voter apathy imo. I think the only strong "voter apathy" issue in 2020 is "Do I really want my vote to put the nuclear codes in the hands of someone who's senile, who hates police, who loves violent riots, and who never accomplished anything, aside from making his son rich, in 5 decades of politics?" The Dem base is riled because of the SCJ seat, and because they still believe in Russian collusion, but there's no one on earth who'd have Joe Biden as their first choice. Not one single person. Not even his wife "Hold your nose and vote for Joe" lol.

  14. In regards to voicing publicly support for Donald Trump, it is a perilous thing to do in many settings. I'm not going on a link expedition for you, even that is becoming more and more impossible, and useless as a resource. Which might be a good thing, if enough people learn to distrust the media. Your linear thinking is too simple. I don't like polls, I hang up on them. 2. Define things any way you want. I work with statistical analysis for a living, so I only get to use real mathematics. 3. Dont tell me what I love. What I don't love is sanctimonious big-city liberals acting as though they are for equality, but it is truly them and their supporters who are divisive. I have no problem with people of colour and I am not a liberal. What gives you the right to say what I think? You like to demonize me as a charicature to fit your comfortable view that you are right, I'm the bad man and it is my fault, not yours. Just look on the TV. Unruly mob of emotional children. It's all about skin colour, ironically. The message here is to be divisive, a raised fist. Your people, not mine. The left even ran out of letters to describe their sexuality, so many divisions they have. The left has become the more divisive of the two. It's not all things are equal, but you wish it were so you won't carry that blame yourself.

  16. 1. Because people feel they are not allowed to give vocal support for Donald Trump, in most social and business settings. 2. If the margin of error could cut either way, then it's unpredictable... 3. Exciting today means, let's go have fun at the liberal-condoned riots. Hi Mom, we're in TV. I think it would be exciting to see these liberals punted right out of the political football stadium.

  17. Biden doesn't surface 'til around noon, he only does one-to-three speaking engagements per week for an hour or less, he has only taken a few cherry-picked questions from friendly faces in the months since he has been nominated, and yet he didn't have the endurance to stay coherent in the limited time that he has been speaking. If there's another Benghazi or worse, he won't have the endurance to stay in the hotseat for 18 hours a day. He won't do 2 solid hours in a day. He's done. At this stage in Biden's life he's just trying to remember to use the toilet, and I'll be surprised if he's not wearing depends during the debate. I still give the debate no more than a 25% chance of happening. The only place where Biden's voters have any enthusiasm is at a smashed-in WalMart.

  20. Who needs polls any more after you've successfully incorporated every voter-fraud-friendly system known to man? Now It's time to stuff some fake ballots and ditch the ballots from GOP-friendly areas. The Dems are poised to win every county in the US.
