August1991 Posted October 2, 2006 Report Posted October 2, 2006 Vote at this link. I notice that there are no Quebec francophones nominated (except if you count Alexander Trudeau and, er, Ben Mulroney). It seems to me that English Canadians are more often annoyed by their fellow countrymen rather than impressed. Anyway, in this competition, I may exercice my vote several times. Some of those faces are truly annoying. Quote

geoffrey Posted October 3, 2006 Report Posted October 3, 2006 I voted for McGuinty, I can't stand his constant whining about everything and his lack of any political values. gc1765 Posted October 3, 2006 Report Posted October 3, 2006 Ben Mulroney, Don Cherry, Margaret Atwood (only cause I had to read one of her books in high school), or Hedy Fry....hmmmmmmm tough choice. Don Cherry? Quote Almost three thousand people died needlessly and tragically at the World Trade Center on September 11; ten thousand Africans die needlessly and tragically every single day-and have died every single day since September 11-of AIDS, TB, and malaria. Army Guy Posted October 3, 2006 Report Posted October 3, 2006 The most annoying Ted Simonet "the Canadian tire guy", i mean come on Jack layton, this guy looks like a weasel, talks like a weasel, dresses like a weasel, Oh i forgot, most annoying. YA Layton hands down... Quote We, the willing, led by the unknowing, are doing the impossible for the ungrateful. Figleaf Posted October 3, 2006 Report Posted October 3, 2006 They need a write-in option. So many annoying Canadians seem to have been overlooked in the nomination process: Rex Murphy, Ian Hanomansihngh, David Frum, the guy who says "cee. tee. VEE." on CTV television, ... the list goes on. Quote
Borg Posted October 3, 2006 Report Posted October 3, 2006 Any of the Trudeau or Mulroney kids. None of who would be anything without riding on Daddy's coattails. Borg Quote
Hicksey Posted October 3, 2006 Report Posted October 3, 2006 I voted for McGuinty, I can't stand his constant whining about everything and his lack of any political values.Rona Ambrose and Belinda both have their places in politics. I'm with you on this one. This is a man who blames his own lies on other people. Batch that with his incessant whining, and that he closely resembles a weasel ... Instant winner. I think only John Kerry could best him. Quote "If in passing, you never encounter anything that offends you, you are not living in a free society." - Rt. Hon. theloniusfleabag Posted October 3, 2006 Report Posted October 3, 2006 Audrey McLaughlin was far more annoying than 'Lexi McDonough' (as sung to the tune of 'Lady Madona')...worse yet was Judy Rebick, former head of NAC...However, this list seems mostly current. I don't watch TV, so I am unfamiliar with a lot of them. Buzz Hargrove (don't know if Bob Goodenow is canuckian) and people of this ilk, willing to sell their loyalty at the drop of a hat )or a dime) is annoying to me. William Shatner has to be up there, too... Quote Would the Special Olympics Committee disqualify kids born with flippers from the swimming events?

Chrissy1979 Posted October 3, 2006 Report Posted October 3, 2006 Preston Manning had the worst speaking voice I've ever heard, but he's dead now isn't he? Quote

Canuck E Stan Posted October 4, 2006 Report Posted October 4, 2006 The Canadian(I think) guy who always says, "What an incredibly idiotic thing to say"or "What an incredibly moronic thing to say" got to be the most idiotic, moronic over used statement....ever. Quote "Any man under 30 who is not a liberal has no heart, and any man over 30 who is not a conservative has no brains." — Winston Churchill
uOttawaMan Posted October 4, 2006 Report Posted October 4, 2006 This is one of the better threads to have come along. I'm surpised Mr. "Let me be perfectly clear for one moment for one iota" isn't on this list. All told, I'm sure they could have had a top 100 most annoying Canadians list, and done a whole mini-series on it, just like "the Greatest Canadian" competition. Cmon CBC.. step up.. for once.. Ricki Bobbi Posted October 4, 2006 Report Posted October 4, 2006 How can George Strombopopadopolis not win the award in a walk? Probly because nobody watches that p.o.s. show of his on newsworld. If anybody actually watched that show they would have to vote for him.
