By "strongest" you mean they have the most and the most advanced weapons of mass murder and destruction.

well not exactly, and that' the problem.  Lots of countries have nukes. In that respect Russia has as much 'power'.   But the USA has the ability to project significant military power in a measured amount anywhere around the world which gives it a massive edge in 'gunboat diplomacy',  and also it has more economic power than any other nation.

When you combine that ability to project power and that economic might the us is the number one power in the world right now. It is the Rome of it's day. All roads lead to Washington.

They should examine any presidential candidate to determine general intelligence, human qualities or psychopathy traits before they are allowed to run for president !

I suspect you mean that tongue in cheek. If that were the case the most powerful person in the world wouldn't be the US president but the guy who got to choose who did and did not qualify

2) What you are talking about is very unlikely to have even happened. The accuser wouldn't be the first person to file an illegitimate lawsuit against wealthy men.

  • In the most recent suit, Trump’s accuser asserted that while she was exploring a modeling career in 1994, she attended a series of parties at the Manhattan home of prominent investor Jeffrey Epstein. She alleges that during those parties the real estate mogul tied her to a bed and raped her. She also claimed Epstein raped her during that series of gatherings

On 1, I do not want to know how many times you've raped your wife.  Your business.

On 2

1) I'd knock all your f'ing teeth out if you said that shit to my face you f'ing loser.

2) Biden was in charge of all that info for 4 years and the Dems never said anything. Now they're saying "The info is in there, we just can't show you." All the dems have ever done from spring 2016 up until this point is lie about Donald Trump. Now they're even cheering for the ayatollah, as are you.

it's time for you to get your f'ing head out of your ass you worthless POS.

No.   There should be a test.  Voters will still elect a president, but those who do not possess the basic presidential qualities will be weeded out before the race.

You don't want to give the nuclear weapons button to a nutjob and this is what has happened already.   Pray we survive this.

Oh, you're very sensitive now! Keep your mouth shut on who raped who then!  Stick to what is reported in the news.

No.   There should be a test.

You literally have no idea what you're saying. That would be the end of democracy. All you would have to do is be in charge of the test to decide who and who wouldn't be put in front of the people. It would turn the presidency into a shell game or a card trick where the public always picked the card you wanted them to.  Is already a substantial element of that in the party process

You know not of what you speak. You seek authoritarianism when you make those suggestions and that's never good. You would get less intelligent candidates, they would be essentially puppets for the people behind the scenes. We're already close enough to that now.

You don't want to give it to demented old man who's being controlled by somebody behind the scenes that the public doesn't know about, and that has already happened as well

What you're suggesting would make that worse not better.

At the end of the day the public has to be responsible for his choices  in a representative democracy.  And I would point out that the test. Is the leadership races we see in most democracies including the us.

They chose to go with Donald Trump, and putting someone else in charge of that whole system would likely not change it for the positive and would certainly change it for the negative

There is no democracy as it is.  Not too sure what "democracy" you are talking about - that one where you democratically remove foreign leaders to put in place puppets of yours willing to give you their country's resources at a discount or free; and if it does not work, you democratically bomb the s*t out of them till you get what you need?

There MUST be a test in the future - absolutely!   I will support one in Canada, any time!   It is a subjective test, where you at least know you have a normal human being at the top.

I can't tell if you're playing stupid or are actually stupid sometimes 😜

As noted above we live in a representative democracy. We choose our leaders. That prevents us having to go to a revolution if we don't like the leadership

But it's very easy to have the appearance the democratic process without actually having one. And what you were saying would eliminate the democratic process. Which would make everything you've complained about a hundred times worse

The test now and in the future is the public. The voter is the test. Both sides make their cases to why they would be best, both sides expose the others weaknesses, and the public is supposed to sit down and make an intelligent and informed decision to the best of its ability to do so as to which one would represent the best choice.

And even before that the party is supposed to filter a number of possible contestants down to the best contestant who will represent their ideology and policy.

So we already have a test, the entire system is essentially a test that the voter is supposed to score the result on.

If the public doesn't do its job then nothing else you change is going to make things any better. It's that simple

Whose side is the LPOC on in this war?

Well, Carney has kind of condemned Hamas...but went on to reward them by recognizing 'palestine'.

And then there is his inaction/indifference to the fact that terrorist groups are having a rather easy time raising funds in Canada.

Add to that the fact that the Liberals are allowing these terrorists, IRGC members etc, to freely enter the country. Little to no vetting process it seems.

Conclusion: their indifference most certainly helps the Islamists who despise the West.

Canadians 'should be alarmed' Hezbollah financing activity is operating in this country, says CIJA official

B.C.'s Seven Seas for International Trading, run by Lebanese‑Canadian financier Raoof Fadel, has been named as one company in an international network operating to finance Hezbollah
