California has very lax voter ID laws. So what is required to open a bank account in California? If it's 'voter suppression' to ask for ID in order to vote, why isn't there any similar outrage against banking requirements?

There is no right to open an account at a private business like there is to VOTE. Duh

Of course if you can AFFORD $100+ every 10 years for a passport, that's no big deal to pay that POLL TAX to prove your citizenship in EVERY ELECTION, for your RIGHT to VOTE, just UNCONSTITUTIONAL. 🤮 

You really need to read up on the burden to prove citizenship of which you are obviously IGNORANT.

I once had to get a certified copy of my BC for a government contractor job to prove citizenship after getting by for most of my life with a photostatic copy. Fortunately the company was willing to pay that piper and I didn't have to have it YESTERDAY.

The big question is, why do you Canucks believe you know so much about voting in the US when you've NEVER WORKED in election polling?

So to get this straight - in Canada and Somalia, and Australia, just to name a few countries, they require ID to vote.  So you're saying that Canada, Somalia and Australia are suffering from voter suppression?  We need to get on this immediately if true, as Canada is in big trouble with so many people here being denied the vote!
