Yes, federally you can vote without ID. You establish eligibility when you register. You have to show up at your specific polling place, give them your info and match signature.

Pretty archaic vs a current photo ID. And I've seen people who can sign with an X (registration card & witnesses needed).

Just for clarity, I didn't actually say that. I quoted someone and then her be quoted me quoting them so if anyone's confused that's what happened

And I actually agree with her being in this case, presenting modern ID is a much more modern and practical solution

No you didn't like my criticism so you labeled it "TDS" like a child.  Since your TDS claim is ridiculous we can reject it and ignore it.

It might be but there is a great deal more than zero evidence

So far the evidence does not reach high enough to say that with certainty was stolen. But there is a huge volume of evidence to suggest there was election fraud. And there is a great deal of evidence to suggest that more fraud could very well have happened and gone undetected.

So we would be dishonest in the extreme to say that there is no evidence. About the best you can say at this point is the evidence is not compelling one way or another

Nonsense.

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-12413181/ALAN-DERSHOWITZ-Al-Gore-2000-Donald-Trump-indictment.html

ALAN DERSHOWITZ: "Al Gore, his legal team and I tried to find uncounted presidential votes, lobbied officials and fought in the courts in 2000. The only difference now? The candidate's name is Donald Trump... That's why this prosecution is an outrage"

"I was one of the lawyers involved in objections to Florida's presidential vote in 2000.

A margin of less than 600 ballots determined that Governor George W. Bush rather than Vice President Al Gore won the state and, thus, the electoral college vote.

I was convinced then and I am convinced now that this result was wrong.

No one was indicted, disbarred, disciplined or even much criticized for those efforts, yet here we stand today."

The difference is that in 2000 it was actually an extremely close election and they actually had a case to fight for with a recount etc.   Both teams fought for their interests through the courts and accepted the results.  Gore didn't start doing all sorts of unconstitutional things.  I don't care that Trump challenged results in the courts, he can appeal whatever he wants.

In 2020 it wasn't close like 2000, and Trump's ego couldn't handle losing so he freaked out tried to do unconstitutional things to overturn an election he lost because he's a tyrannical child who needs to always get his way.

Trump sees the polls and is trying to tip the scales in the midterms to steal a win any way he can. He wants the GOP to take over state election powers in Democrat states lol. He's not doing this for the best interests of democracy.  He's a dictator.

I'm not sure what you think you posted here, but that's not remotely similar.

^^The 2000 Florida recounts were just that: recounts. And the Supreme Court playing referee.

Nobody said that Trump shouldn't be allowed to embarrass himself with 60+ failed court cases.

But should be be able to threaten and pressure state or local election officials to "find" him enough votes to win? No, that's radically different

Should he lead and his cronies a conspiracy of "fake electors" and pressure the VP to count them instead of the certified electors? Obviously not. That's fraud, and a brazen attempt to overthrow democracy in America. And this is the behavior that you think is equivalent to a recount? GTFO!

You think criticism of Trump is just TDS?  Lol.  He's pushing states to gerrymander before the midterms for the good of democracy too huh?

Bet you think the 2020 election was stolen...

Trump is pushing the boundaries much harder than ^this.

He is pushing Congressional RepubliCONS to take over the election "in 15 different places."

He has suggested that the 2026 elections be cancelled.

He is demanding states turn over their detailed voter data; Bondi even offered to remove ICE agents in return for MN voter data. And has had the FBI steal 2020 election ballots from Fulton County, GA which is unprecedented.

Bannon has stated at least twice that ICE agents will be AROUND POLLING places this year, which is blatantly ILLEGAL.

I'm sure he'll get even more desperate as the election gets nearer.

Big DIFFERENCE in 2020 is that Trump threatened GA SoS Raffensperger ON TAPE with legal jeopardy if he didn't "find" the exact number of votes Trump needed to overturn the result.

And Douchowitz never mentioned that because he is a LIAR for Trump.

"But of those 15, only California has made a serious effort to respond in kind — and even that initiative may fail at the ballot box. Leaders in 14 other states with a Democratic governor and state legislature find themselves unable to move forward, hampered by reasons ranging from constitutional limitations, legal deadlines and maps that can’t be gerrymandered anymore. In perhaps an acknowledgment of these hurdles, Democrats have turned to the courts to try stopping Republican efforts." https://www.politico.com/news/2025/09/22/why-democrats-cant-match-trumps-gerrymander-push-00572965

Dershowitz is a giant in the legal field so I'll take him at his word.

"This new indictment features Trump's phone call with Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, which was captured in an audio recording. In the conversation, Trump asks Raffensperger to 'find' 12,000 votes.

In my mind, this call is among the most exculpatory pieces of evidence. Trump was entitled as a candidate to ask a Georgia state official to locate votes that he believes were not counted.

But if similar behavior was legal in 2000, how could it be illegal in 2023?

And for the record, Dershowitz said that the outcome of the Bush/Gore election was wrong and he believes that to this day.

Beware the Brookfield industrial complex...

What was illegal was threatening the GA SoS with legal jeopardy if he didn't "find" the votes that Trump DEMANDED.

IF Trump had not specifically demanded enough votes to flip the results, he might have a leg to stand on, BUT HE DID NOT DO THAT.

Both Douchowitz and YOU keep IGNORING that because you have NOTHING to refute it.

Your appeal to popularity is a FALLACY. Do you know why it's FALSE?

The vast majority of our population doesn't understand that voter impersonation fraud is miniscule because it doesn't work to flip an election. Do you know how many people have to be in on the conspiracy to flip an election?

Do you know how hard it is to keep a  crime secret when a thousand people know about it?
