The Rhetoric of Hateful Politicians - AOC Speech at Mamdani Inauguration

I watched a bit of AOC's hateful screed today, her hell and brimstone invective is reminiscent of a Hitler speech.

“In Zohran Mamdani, we have chosen a mayor who is relentlessly dedicated to making life not just possible but aspirational for working people,” she continued. “New York City has chosen the ambitious pursuit of universal child care, affordable rent and housing, and clean and dignified public transit for all, and we have chosen that over the distractions of bigotry and the barbarism of extreme income inequality.” 

She makes it sound like Mamdani is bringing NYC out of the dark ages and into freedom and democracy for the first time ever, while replacing several generations of Nazis, but he's replacing:

1. a long line of Demonrat mayors
2. in a state that has been run by Demonrat governors for decades
3. in a country that had a Demonrat president for 4 of the last 4.9 years. 

There's nothing bad about NYC that wasn't done to them by her own party. The crime is their fault, the inflation is their fault, the unaffordability is 100% the Demonrats' own fault. 

But mostly, the reason why working people can't get ahead there is because working people don't actually come first there. That has never been Demonrat/leftist policy. Demonrat policy is tax, spend, tax, spend, tax, spend, rinse and repeat.

completely flies in the face of Demonrat policy. They are not a small gov't/big paycheque organization. They're the party of "your money is actually our money, and we will take it from you and distribute it as we see fit" 

 

Honestly, the MSM in Canada considers Poilievre too negative, I wonder what they have to say about her nationally televised hate-fest.

No, implicit in that is I support the stated goals of smaller government parties like the CPC and GOP.

New York was one of the top states where movers were leaving in 2025, with a majority of moves outbound — driven by housing cost, job opportunities, and lifestyle factors.

Chrissy, in case you just missed it, the Mamdani-supporter I quoted below you is an open advocate for terrorism: he expressed indignation here when a reporter failed to blame the Bondi Beach shooting on Israel. 

FYI it was hateful for AOC to stand up there and use her Hitler voice to pretend that Mamdani's win was some kind of triumph over evil. In case you missed it, the people who vote for Dems are basically modern-day plantation-owners, who bring in millions of people to do shitty jobs for shitty pay and live in shitty homes without the full rights of citizens.
