This is quite true. So when this chronic dissatisfaction is evident, how do mature adults resolve it?

There's a word in English that too many have forsaken. "Compromise".

Compromise produces the best possible results for the general public. With it, the US government could open...the ICE riots would subside...the police might even be heroes again.

But the word has become unknown. Undesirable. Perhaps impossible. 

Not all that long ago, the extremes of either right or left, were minimalized as crazy. Today we let them call the shots. Is that the act of rational people?
