He clearly does not want pipelines, I think he's just giving lip-service to it to keep Alberta quiet while he rapes Canada. I DO think he is serious about spending $20 billion on carbon capture of our oil industry, but what for if we're not going to ship it anywhere and he wants to move to wind and solar power only for Canada? It's because Brookfield is invested in carbon capture. Whether we use the technology or not - he doesn't care. He's going to make billions off setting it up. And he keeps saying he's going to make Canada "competitive". Who exactly are we competing against? Europe is broke from green adventures, the US is out, China is not participating, India doesn't give a crap. some small oil-producing nations that can't afford green dream tech? And who is going to buy our over-priced, carbon-captured oil even if he did let us build a pipeline? Why would any country buy our over-priced oil when they can get it cheaper from countries that didn't go broke with green dreams? We're going to spend billions of dollars, become a welfare state and go broke.....for what? So he can make money for Brookfield and by extension, himself. Then when Canada is in the shitter, he can go back to NYC, where his wife and kids live, and get his job back with Brookfield, which they will gladly give him because he made them filthy rich by bankrupting Canada. He's not here to save Canada.
