Bottom line...the tariffs are gone and it costs us less. Canadians will very much appreciate that they do not have to pay tariffs for products the need and use.

This is really not that hard....Don't Fffing by American products that have tariffs on them...there are thousands of products on the market, pick something that is NOT made IN America to avoid the tariffs...why is that so hard to understand, Canadian stores will stop bring in these products and choose something other than American to sell...

And if you love American products then keep buying them and PAY the tariffs...

We’ve driven ourselves into recession.  The last 10 years has been an economic nightmare.  We used to be on par with the United States of GDP per capita.  Now we’re 60% of what theirs is.  We used to have a strong dollar and balanced budgets.  The Liberals have destroyed all of that, and now according to the PBO, we’re at a fiscal tipping point of unsustainable deficit spending.  Trudeau voters caused this mess.  It’s time that people like you sat down, and shut up, and let somebody else clean up the mess you’ve created.

He is fully aware of the cost of tariffs that is why he cancelled the ones not affected by CUSMA.

Name a US product that has no other equivalent available in Canada....Your making it sound like this is mission imposable, sh!t the food stores label the products just so you don't have to guess....And if you don't want to switch manufactures then pay the FFING tariff...which would be the exception not the norm...

And while Canadian consumers are going to have to pay the tarrifs , what it will end up doing is force Canadians consumers to change their buying habits...AND US manufactures will end up with no to little sales...that's who ends up with all the pain....just like our manufactures of steel and aluminum ...not sure why you can't see that ....You the consumer don't have to pay the tariffs if you don't buy that product....

What was the point of him imposing them?  I understand that the tariffs are paid by Canadians.  Did he not understand that?  Regardless, when is he going to reach deals to lower the tariffs on Canadian goods by the United States and China?  They are really hurting Canadian exports.  Why is he sending a billion dollars to China to build boats when they have tariffs on Canadian goods?  What happened to buy Canadian?  Can’t we have a Canadian manufacturer build those boats, even if they cost a little more?  Again, what happened to buy Canadian?  Seems like it all ended once Carney con man got elected.
