This "private company" is regulated under FCC. The FCC would ultimately determine whether or not celebrating a political assassination falls under protecting the public interest.

And i agree, that's how i'd like to see things.  When you guys start holding your side accountable for cancel culture i suspect you'll find conservatives are happy to get rid of it.  But... the rules have to be the same for both parties, you don't get to do it for years and then complain.

No i don't believe the government should be controlling what is or is not free speech...But they have for decades years now...and have divided it into many categories....some of it  is against the law...to use say hate speech or words that could be used in say verbal assaults in some cases...even used as sexual assaults...I do believe that any speech has consequences...if some man walked up to my wife and said nice t!ts mind if i touch them.......there would be consequences...

It was not Jimmies platform was it, he was an employee , who I'm sure signed a contract, that spelled out the companies objectives what he could comment on or not, and I'm sure all of his material was approved by a higher authority...so he was not free to say what ever came to mind....most jobs have a code of conduct, so yes speech is limited , don't like it then find another job...or like jimmy was fired as he took it to far...Tell your boss to F off , or something to that effect and tell them that your using your free speech and see where it gets you...Are you from this planet ?
