gatomontes99 Posted September 19, 2025 Report Posted September 19, 2025 Since the left won't go look up the entire exchange: It is 3 hours, but the relevant portion is at the very beginning. In context, he says over the air stations should have to reapply every 4 to 5 years, they are overwhelmingly negative towards him (and I'll add all conservatives and republicans), they have been proven to be inaccurate and they don't follow their local interests. In effect, what he did was lay out the case to reinstate licensing renewal. And the response from the propaganda arms of the DNC is to misquote him, take him out of context and then lie about his intentions. 🤔 Quote Don't you think that if I were wrong that I would know it?

That "living joke" is dead at the hands of an angry Libbie. But your lack of honor and respect is your problem...that'll bite you sick fcks in the ballot box for some time to come. I strongly suggest you support Mamdani for NYC mayor. Do it. Enjoy the consequences. Quote Its so lonely in m'saddle since m'horse died.
SpankyMcFarland Posted September 19, 2025 Report Posted September 19, 2025 (edited) Whatever about the merits of the reason for doing so, there’s no question Trump already wanted to end Kimmel’s show. He said it himself. From Russia to Egypt to India the pattern is clear - authoritarians hate comedians. Libertarians on the right are being tested. Do they stay loyal to their party or their core beliefs? Edited September 19, 2025 by SpankyMcFarland Quote ‘How small we make our worlds. Maybe revisit the vid to see again the great empathy your boy showed for his 'great friend'. It is worth a laugh, but bet it will be a great ballroom, one they said couldn't be done, and maybe the best ballroom anyone has ever seen. Quote

Do they stay loyal to their party or their core beliefs? That's a good question because their going to be tested daily... Basic decency says you hold true to your core beliefs but I've thought that for years while watching some of these politicians sell their souls to Trump for the sake of their own political life. I'd think or certainly hope that voters will at some point hold those persons that are devoid of morals accountable....but I wouldn't bet on that. 2 minutes ago, Nationalist said: It just might be. Looking at the descriptions of these people, I’d say we could guess some of the names already: Quote The lawmaker claimed those files include “one Hollywood producer worth a few 100 million dollars, one royal prince, one high-profile individual in the music industry, one very prominent banker, one high profile government official, one high profile former politician, one owner of a car company in Italy, one rock star, one magician, at least six billionaires, including a billionaire from Canada. We know these people exist in the FBI files, the files that you control.” Edited September 19, 2025 by SpankyMcFarland Quote ‘How small we make our worlds. SpankyMcFarland Posted September 19, 2025 Report Posted September 19, 2025 The Bill Maher cancellation was particularly stupid. Job one in any fight is to know your enemy. The 9/11 attack was ingenious and well executed by people clearly willing to give their lives for the cause but the key point was that this enemy didn’t even have its own planes and could never pose a strategic threat to America. It ended up being a massive distraction from the real long-term challenge to the West - the PRC. Quote ‘How small we make our worlds. Gather them in, tighten them up into little castles of fear.’
CouchPotato Posted September 19, 2025 Report Posted September 19, 2025 While I do think Kimmel was implying that the shooter was MAGA, I do not think the FCC should be involved. I know that Biden used the force of govt to silence social media posts, but if both sides agree on doing this there goes the 1st amendment. Quote
