1M, 800k and 300k jobs were never created in 24, 23 and 22, but Joe Biden reported that they were.

Well of course. And people knew that which is why they were so negative about his economic policy and why he was so low in the polls

If you talk about all the jobs you've added but people look around and there's no jobs to be had they figure it out.

I think Mark Carney is going to realize the same thing shortly. You can make all the announcements you like but if people are still suffering on the ground they know it.

Indeed.  They've also happened to this administration.

From 2 and 3 years ago?

Please...this is just one more example of how the institutions have been hijacked and can no longer be trusted.

Most of the ways that one would detect such failures are inscrutable.  In fact, you would have to rely on ANOTHER institution, such as a university, to call out such things.  Now, the warnings would come across as another dry area of "concern" - so boring and familiar as to be drowned out among the myriad other warnings...

I'll say that, without a deeper dive, an adjustment from 2 to 3 years ago seems unusual.

In normal times, this indeed could have been a scandal.  But the current environment elicits deceit from all sides and no one knows who to trust.  Sorry.

This is not an "all sides" or even "both sides" issue. Its one side. Those who desperately want to retain power.

I'll admit that people from both political parties partake in such deception. Democrats as a whole...many old Republicans like McConnell...and the institutions. All perfectly willing to lie to their own constituents for the preservation of a system warped to unrecognizable proportions in order to maintain the status quo.

But the public sees through it now.

Hence...enter Donald J Trump. Beaten and bloodied relentlessly...but still standing. And now comes the consequences.

1. Yes and no because both sides want to retain power.

2. That's good. It's also an admission, which I share, that we know almost nothing about what goes on. On. Because any information comes from within the system, unless an unusual circumstance has happened

3. 4. Well they have elected him thinking that even the world's most obvious bullsh1tter is better than a sanctimonious hypocrite. I don't think that's very sound.  The people in power up until now at least pretended to follow an ethic.  More and more, we hear from the administration that they're coming after somebody.  That's the underlying message, not some high and mighty ideal.

Cleaning up a mess can be...messy.

Trump was an anomaly the first time. His basic premise was correct but he got eaten alive by the system...which he was not part of. Now he has experience and has had time to analyze the system and discover its weaknesses. He's also got a massive axe to grind with the system's lever pullers. He's much more dangerous to that system now.

Maybe it takes a complete a55hole to stand up to the system? But one thing is for certain...the jig is up. The public now knows without a doubt, that the system needs...an attitude adjustment.

And I sense it'll take a similar a55hole to adjust Canada.

This guy could walk down the street, kick an old lady to the ground to steal her purse and his loyal minions would find a way to justify as 'he was just looking for a mint'....

That's true, and I don't know why you're admitting to that, but Biden couldn't kick an old lady to the ground. Just trying to kick an empty soda can could land him in the hospital.

I'm not sure what to make of your attempted point.

You don't know what you're talking about after listening to OBVIOUS propaganda BULLSHIT that's not even an identified source.

IOW you'll believe ANYTHING which conforms with your COGNITIVE DISSONANCE.

You really need to stop using that phrase  you are using it wrong.

These downward revisions are on top of the previous downward revisions. So it's 2M plus all the previous downward revisions.

Don't you think that if I were wrong that I would know it?

LOL oh my god people have been trying to tell him that since before you even signed up to the board :)   Best of luck :)

He has some others that keep resurfacing from time to time like  'dunning kruger'.  He'd use it as a noun, a verb, an adjective from time to time, occasionally an adverb and at least once as a conjunction and we're still trying to figure out how that works.

If you can get him to stop misusing words he doesn't understand you'll get  the nobel prize for twit management.
