Far left activists and politicians look to bully, intimidate, harass Christian music artist and parishioners from exercising right to practice religion

The difference is that you reject this man because of ideological reasons merely coming to visit your fellow Canadians...

My position is that America has borders and immigration laws to curtail a billion people migrating here and ruining our country so we have an orderly process to accept and allow limited numbers of people to come here to be citizens lawfully.

Your border guards are checking Canadians phones and computers for their social media posts.

Ironically and as is usually the case the moral panic over this goof is drawing more attention to him and his nonsense than he could have hoped for just performing for his flock.

In any case the point stands that despite how arbitrary, silly, political, capricious or even malicious the reasons seem for refusing him permission they are being used in accordance with the discretion the law currently allows them. Just like a cop pulling over a car.

You approve of that?

Then why would you approve of this?

Oh now it's pulling over a car rather than actually taking the car off the road :) LOLOL

So you've realized how stupid you were and you're trying to walk it back :) Well that's definitely very you. Very left-wing.

And the point is that a police officer can't harass somebody unduly. And this shouldn't be allowed either. It's wrong. And if you were a decent person you would acknowledge that and say that arbitrarily silencing people is in fact the wrong thing

Sure dude... you maybe have one story that might not even be a Canadian where they did this.

Pulling over a car isn't the same as impounding it because the driver is gay, or Christian, or black, or whatever. Requiring permits for outdoor events is OK too as long as it isn't weaponized... lost here is the idea that this can easily be abused in both directions and certainly will be if we stay the course.

I predict you (and few others that agree with you) would feel completely different if the details of this situation were reversed and it applied to something like a drag queen performance with a decidedly anti-Trump flair. Would you be equally indifferent to MAGATs blocking that performance simply because they don't like it?

That's what's at risk here.... in short, I'm actually advocating for you and Herb because I have no interest in attending either event.

Surely that's the point, and it's not a minor one if you still believe in a healthy free society. Even though I don't support either message and consider both over the top, I still think those so inclined should be free to attend (within the bounds of legality) whether I like it or not.

Good Lord, isn't that the fundamental essence of the freedoms we (as a society) previously cherished? Any political party (advocacy group or voting block) that fails this test won't like the inevitable backlash that it spawns. Stay the course and you will always be one election away from screaming Hitler at the next incarnation of MAGATs.

I did already, 2 or 3 times now actually.

I've said, multiple times now that preventing this asshat from making a spectacle of himself is the wrong thing to do.

I predict you and the other asshats  with you will continue to ignore that.

I love that you’re making excuses for government not permitting a singer based on political reasons.  When did you become a fascist?

If only you made a comment about how the border patrol has the authorization to search through a phone...

Yes and the Canadian government has updated their travel advisory for the US. My point is, a country doesn't  need a reason to refuse entry. There is no right to enter someone else's country. This isn't about religion, it's an "entertainer" coming here to peddle the views of a man who has threatened this country's economy and sovereignty.

Give me one reason why we should let him in.

No, you were not making some kind of vague point about policy, you wer advocating for this particular man to be rejected entry because you don't like that he is Christian pushing traditional Christian values and Biblical principles.

No, it's his political values, not his religious values. I don't give a fat f*ck what you think, you don't get to dictate who enters my country. He is not being stopped from entertaining, he is just not being allowed to use public facilities to peddle his wares. There are some Mega size churches in Abbotsford, there is nothing stopping him from performing there, he is just not being allowed to use a public park.

This is rich. You have spent over the last month crying about America deporting illegal immigrants.

Yeah, I can sit here calling you out for your hypocrisy and the extreme views you have for why someone can or can't enter Canada.

No you haven't. You're all for it and in fact on multiple occasions claimed that the police can do it when of course they can't. You've been fully supportive

Oh you mean that thing that you've been denying and saying isn't true and that I said was true from the very beginning?

I see you finally stop lying about it and accepted that I was right. Good job.

When have I been crying about deporting illegal immigrants, all I have pointed out is the lack of due process. But someone who defends putting people on aircraft in the middle of night and shipping them to third countries shouldn't be critical of a foreigner being denied the use of a public park to support policies that attack my country. We aren't shipping him to El Salvador or Libya.

Beside the point, he's not an immigrant. We should've just refused the turd entry,

The just publicly stated "because we didn't like his face" and these same whiners would be pumping their arms going Ughh Ughhh good to see Canada stand up over it's borders.

Annoying to constantly hear the minority of the minority of Christians constantly bleating how they're so oppressed.

LOL... when?

I swear... the complete and utter dishonesty going on behind a statement like that.

So, as long as he crossed the border illegally and planned on staying, then you would be totally cool with him being there...

We haven't deported him, we just aren't giving him public venues to vent in. Don't like it, tough, they aren't your parks.

Like I have to point out about you every time you post is your dumb. entirely self made up conclusions.
A - the guy is not an immigrant
B - if he is getting renumeration for performing and does not have a work visa he entered the country illegally and can be sent home. Which does not require masked heavily armed hordes of men, detention in cages in some swamp, nor flying him to Africa and paying some despot to hold him. Just a few minutes ride in the back of a cruiser to the US border.
C - and if his views are contrary to the interest of Canada, as justified as refusing a Hamas spokesman a permit to speak in public.

You don’t see to be criticizing the government much for such aggressive censorship.  Do you generally think that churches need to get permission from the government as to whom they have preform in their establishments?

They aren't being prevented from hosting him, you are getting your tits in a knot because he isn't being allowed to do it on public property.

My only beef with the government is their lack of aggressive ridicule.
