I'm not being critical of aid being cut off, although that is a shame. I'm being critical of the wilful destruction of material that could be used by others to improve the lives of people in the third world.

In this country every day tons of milk and other products are destroyed including fish and other food that could go to help feed poor people. But for political reasons it is a requirement that it be destroyed instead

This has been government policy for a variety of things for ages. If they can't use it they destroy it.
