Can’t fault you for being confused, Trump’s erratic minute-by-minute flip-flopping and policy by random whim is hard for anyone to follow which is why markets are melting down and businesses owners have no idea what to expect in the short or long term. As of this particular minute, some tariffs are paused but steel and aluminum are not and others are coming Quote

Americans are significantly worse off than they were 49 days ago. Recession. Inflation. Layoffs. Funny none of this was mentioned in Trump’s election campaign. Intelligent people with high EQ's will sit back and let things play out for several months, or even a year because they know the previous administration tried to burn the country to the ground. It's going to take time to repair the damage they caused. Quote

Right, before the Trump's useless, global trade-war kicked off, and before he started vandalizing the US economy. Let's look at this again in a couple of months. I'll trust the economists and you can trust your Kool-Aid on how inflation plays out, okay? 🙃 Quote "A man is no more entitled to an opinion for which he cannot account than he does for a pint of beer for which he cannot pay" - Anonymous

You can highlight the shameless and obvious nature of the near-endless lies he tells. We're not talking about the regular political spin or fibbing either. It's the bald-faced, retarded fabrications he conjures out of thin air that really highlight what's going with him. On that, you can be completely objective. But... that wasn't your comment. Quote

Erratic and rather hefty changes in US trade does have a serious affect on the stock markets. I have no skin in that game. Call it luck...call it wisdom...I own no stocks. However it all should push inflation up and that would be a bad thing. Sure does exemplify the power of the POTUS I guess. Trump is negotiating with tariffs. Find out what his goal is for Canadian trade, and negotiate. Interestingly enough, Canada is doing that well. Too bad it took a threat, for Pixie-Dust to do something good for our nation. The markets will settle as the various tariffs are settled...I would think. Out of that should follow some pretty good times. And wasn't that the point of Trump's campaign? Make America Great Again? Trump has no goal other than collecting tariff money to pay for his tax cuts. There’s nothing to negotiate. His policies will continue to destroy the US economy, Canada needs to decouple ASAP Quote
