Part of the problem may be (and I'm openly speculating here) the language barrior. You saw during the blow up, Z kept asking "What cards?" and "We aren't playing cards." I don't think he understood that metaphor. There may have been a couple of idiums Trump used that upset Z because he didn't understand the meaning. He's pretty good at English. I just don't think he understands all of the catch phrases we use.

That's one of the reasons traditionally that international trade deals are worked out long before than leaders ever see each other and it's just signing the document that happens in public.  I feel like trump kind of pushed this on solensky which is understandable given the circumstances and it wasn't finalized and signed before he showed up and zelensky still had issues and they wound up coming up on the camera instead of in the negotiating room and hilarity ensued.

After seeing the disgusting actions of the Democrats last night, there is no doubt that they tried to sabotage the peace deal.

But Zelinsky has apparently come to his senses. Peace has a chance...yet again.
