If CNN gave an infinite number of monkeys an infinite number of typewriters, leftists would believe everything they typed.

If you missed something on the Cultist Narrative Network, don't worry, the dolt horde here will make sure everyone hears it.

If that's all it did then it should stay open.

But it has been proven if funds the destruction of cities, families and people though scamming the public out of their hard earned dollars.

That hasn’t been proven (indeed it wouldn’t be surprising if much of this stuff is fabricated) and unilaterally halting the disbursement of funds approved by congress is illegal and everyone involved knows it, hence Musk and Vance openly discussing ignoring court orders.

A government agency has done an audit and uncovered a bunch of money going where it should.

The judge who blocked it is woke. To be expected

Congress approved of funding a transgender opera?

Im sure they will find other ways to use those funds. USAID isn't shuttered for good it is going through an audit.

Shutting down the entire agency because you personally don’t like how some of the funds were used only makes sense if you’re not actually interested in “efficiency”.

Only because YOU BELIEVE MUSK who has already been lying his ass off.

Show us REAL EVIDENCE. You CANNOT because there is NO INDEPENDENT MONITORING.

Just like USAID.

VILE is ^you pretending that an agency is something that it quite plainly is not.

You must be so proud to be such a repugnant liar.

I think on the whole this is a good thing, but also think US AID did some good things. I don't know enough about it to really defend it though. A paywalled article from a journalist I respect on the subject:

https://www.aaronmate.net/p/in-ukraine-usaid-aids-us-hegemony

Title and subtitle:

**

In Ukraine, USAID aids US hegemony

The gutting of USAID will hurt people in need worldwide. Yet as the case of Ukraine shows, the agency has also been used to spread conflict and propaganda.

Uh no it's not. You see DOGE on this list?

Quote

In the United States federal government, independent agencies are agencies that exist outside the federal executive departments (those headed by a Cabinet secretary) and the Executive Office of the President. In a narrower sense, the term refers only to those independent agencies that, while considered part of the executive branch, have regulatory or rulemaking authority and are insulated from presidential control, usually because the president's power to dismiss the agency head or a member is limited.

Established through separate statutes passed by Congress, each respective statutory grant of authority defines the goals the agency must work towards, as well as what substantive areas, if any, over which it may have the power of rulemaking. These agency rules (or regulations), when in force, have the power of federal law.

He's never seen a word of CNN propaganda that he didn't instantly incorporate incraporate into his daily drivel.

It doesn't need to be. When people lose faith in institutions and they don't conduct themselves in a manner that is beyond reproach then this is what happens.

The burden of proof for an organization like that is not Beyond Reasonable Doubt, it's the balance of probabilities. If people look at it and decide that it's wasteful or corrupt or misusing it's funds and that seems to be the most likely case to them then they take action and this is what that looks like.

At that point the baby is going to get thrown out with the bathwater if there is a baby at all. Nobody cares anymore about sorting the wheat from the chafe, They'll just check it in the garbage.

We see that with the CBC in Canada. It's not like the CBC has never done good reporting ever. But because they have been so insanely bias so often anything good is going to get thrown out with the bad.

These agencies and those who support them allow them to grow and grow and become bloated and fatter and turn a blind eye when they do things that are questionable and don't give a crap and think that nothing will ever challenge them. They just learned that was wrong

There are two types of people in this world: Those who can extrapolate from incomplete data
