gatomontes99 Posted January 28 Report Posted January 28 Rejoice! You are a put upon minority. About 54 percent of respondents — 86 percent of Republicans, 58 percent of independents and 25 percent of Democrats — said they “strongly” or “somewhat” support a wide-scale effort to deport millions of immigrants, and 59 percent said they are closely following the “immigration situation at the U.S.-Mexico border.” Maybe you can get some sympathy from the other losers that are on the wrong side of history. Majority of Americans support deporting immigrants who are in the U.S. illegally The vast majority of U.S. adults favor deporting immigrants convicted of violent crimes, and the Trump administration’s deportation efforts may begin there. But Trump’s initial executive orders have gone far beyond that — including efforts to keep asylum-seekers in Mexico and end automatic citizenship. No one is listening to the dopes that want illegal immigration. 1 1 Quote The Rules for Liberal tactics: If they can't refute the content, attack the source. WestCanMan Posted January 31 Report Posted January 31 What leftards want to ignore is that - even more important than the fact that there is a border, and there are laws which are in place regarding the criminality of entering the country illegally - is whether or not the US gov't (Dems) is saying "C'mon in guys, we have free stuff for you and we will keep the immigration officials off your back!" Not only is the message no longer "come get the free stuff", the message is now: "we're cleaning house". So not only is the border itself stronger, there's also a repellant factor from within the US, inside of the pull factor that was created by the Dems. They pretend to be the champions of the low-income Americans while letting in millions of illegal immigrants to 1) undercut those low-income American workers and 2) compete for cheap housing thereby driving up rental prices. It's cute when you try to mix up your spam posts with something new. But also a pretty great reminder that you just aren't good at thinking for yourself. Undocumented immigrant labor isn't undercutting anyone. Americans simply won't do those jobs, even at higher wages. This has been tried before at scales large and small. What ends up happening is that produce rots in the fields, as is currently happening in California. And while suffering in California is always amusing to the red states, they won't be laughing when orange juice doubles in price and avocados are like caviar. Sure, there's a price somewhere along the curve where Americans would be willing to do hard, manual labor again, but by the time we hit it, the goods are too expensive. Again, this isn't theory. It's been played out several times. But Trump knows even less about economics than you, and that's saying something. Edited January 31 by Hodad Quote

We already have the laws on the books to enforce the border. Democrats did not give a shit. Biden was giving people an app on their phone to schedule their entry. We have seen now, that on day one, ICE and the Border Patrol were being held back. 1 Quote
