Whos really to blame for the LA wildfire? Donnie or Gavin Newscum who diverts water from its natural path into the ocean and refuses to do any sort of wildfire/forestry management because of faulty woke ideology?

$1.7m That could have gone into actual firefighting instead of a DEI agenda.

Do you understand the fighting fires is NOT a full time job?

Training is much closer to full time, and training to get along with colleagues is part of that.

Stop LYING. No one is, nor should be, listening to me about climate, except those of YOU who are too stupid to read and UNDERSTAND the peer reviewed RESEARCH JOURNALS, which is where I get my info.

It doesn't matter whether you're right or not DUH. Things like:

The brush pile matter DUH.

The Hydrants matter DUH,

LAFD manning and funding matters DUH,

Even if I agreed with your assessment of cause, even if I wrote the damn peer reviewed research journals, I'd still want to see incremental progress being made on fuel loading and suppression efforts because I know what's in store for us.

Even I can walk around, identify the threats, read a map, identify worst case scenarios and try to head them off at the pass.

You might not want to admit it but I bet you wouldn't voluntarily get on an airplane with a Capt who refused to do that.

Ooops, almost forgot to say

So you're pretending that a $100M cut just months before the fire had an impact on performance after six years of dramatic increases?

From your cite:

Quote

California Gov. Gavin Newsom cut funding for wildfire and forest resilience by more than $100 million just months before the wildfires currently ravaging Los Angeles broke out, according to a report.

However, a review of the state's annual budgets under Newsom shows that direct spending on fire prevention has increased dramatically over the last six years.

Seems you're delusional about how rapidly a $100M investment in fire fighting facilities can be spent. Like how long it takes to build reservoirs and pumping stations. LMAO

There's little reason wildfire fighters and other disaster relief workers as well shouldn't be rolled into dedicated federal and provincial/state Environmental Works Departments.

When not attending to disaster relief these professionals would be at work restoring watersheds and wetlands, cleaning forest floors, cleaning oil spills, planting trees...there is no end to the remedial work that needs doing. Preventing, mitigating, restoring, and adapting to environmental disasters is an occupation that should be gainfully employing hundreds of thousands of people.

It should simply be a cost of having an economy. But like the Joker it'll probably cost about half now.

It didn't have to be that much but that's what we get for singing ribbit like a frog in a pot of water...with our fingers in our ears.

A government without public oversight is like a nuclear plant without lead shielding.

I suspect because you are an apologist for DEI governance you don't understand that spending money doesn't necessarily equate to positive outcomes. If

As I've already said, their priority is diversity, equity and inclusion. That means, in ICS LANGUAGE that's where they divert the resources to. Democrats are funding social engineering so that they can continue to control with tax payers resources and often times taxpayers are funding vile shit against their beliefs.

Then why are YOU citing a $100M CUT? Government is not in the habit of wasting resources your denigration of DEI spending notwithstanding.

You saying that doesn't make it true. As ALWAYS, the first priority of the Fire Dept is fighting fires.

MAYBE NOW, DEI is a little higher than it WAS.

what? yeah, i don't get how any of that has anything to do with whether climate change is happening or not or to what degree.

Id10t.

I just reminded you that the climate change hoax that you believe in comes from two primary sources:

  1. the lying Dems and their corrupt media, and
  2. elite hypocrites who cruise in yachts, fly around in private jets, and have mansions with carbon footprints but criticize peons for driving minivans

Someone has you blaming these fires on global warming, and they free up a lot of prime real estate for the elite hypocrite crowd.

If you missed something on the Cultist Narrative Network, don't worry, the dolt horde here will make sure everyone hears it.

1. DEI/stakeholder capitalism or whatever the woketards try to rebrand it as is vile and totally a waste of resources.

2. It's not ME who's saying that. It's the officials responsible for fire relief and emergency planning stating their priorities there jackass.

You fly into a fit of rage, refuse to think about the facts, and then lash out. Typical of a raging leftist

In a democracy, one vote is no more or less valuable than another. So his opinion on DEI is every bit as valuable as those of a sociologists. Further, as you are not a sociologist, you are not qualified to tell him his opinion is wrong.

And he has no clue on my background so there's that.

Certainly in my opinion hiring someone because of characteristics like race or trans is improper and should be outlawed. Merit is the only way to go

Of course that is NEVER the sole factor, which you would know if you were ANY KIND OF EXPERT.

Thanks for proving you're NOT.

We are engaging in a political discussion board where you've been provided newspaper articles on current events

You first. Prove that Democrats top priority in hiring is DEI and their hires are less competent as a result. YOU CANNOT.
