The US will now be run again by a Putin informant traitor who attempted to defraud the American voters and has been criminally charged for it (cases pending).  We live in perilous times where politicians care more about power than their own country.

Those cases are dead, Jack Smith is already starting to wind them down, it is over and Fanny can't get her crap together to save her life. Leticia and Engoron are about the smacked the hell down over their political lawfare by the appeals court, hell the attorneys she sent to appeals in their closing arguments were begging not to be sanctioned.

If you think for a heatbeat Merchan is going to give the President elect anything but a slap on the wrist I will be very surprised.

There's absolutely no chance and the stupidity has to stop. You are crossing the line into a mental health issue.

America is a democracy and it will remain a democracy. Hitler only was able to seize power because germans hated democracy. They didn't trust it, because it was brand new. During world war I and before they didn't have a democracy, they had a king and so on and so forth. Many still felt that's how it should be. But America is built on democracy and all of its institutions and all of its constitutions and language have it baked right in

There's no mechanism for trump to just simply declare himself the fuhrer or seize power

And all you're doing is showing that Americans made the right choice by behaving this way

This is what they said about Winston Churchill and others, when he was telling anyone who would listen, that Hitler was going to drive the World into war. Turns out he was right.

They just elected Trump in a free and fair election.  It's not a dictatorship and its not fascist.  Even though Trump is a fascist himself, he doesn't have absolute power or anywhere near it.

Depends on how many staff he appoints that will break the law for him. It will be easy for many because he can just promise them unconditional pardons.

1. That never happened. There were legal challenges, but every single challenge had a legal basis.

You are IGNORANT of Trump's plans because you never hear news that reports what happened, and completely IGNORE the SWORN TESTIMONY in the hearings.

2. Yes, we know. Trump is Hitler because Hitler wasnt like Hitler and Trump isn't like Hitler so that makes him like Hilter.

Look, you don't have TO LIE about what I said when you can just quote what's right in front of you, and you wouldn't have to make up ^your own version if you WEREN'T LYING.

I stated HISTORY, and YOU LIE about what I said. Everyone can see YOU'RE LYING. Do it again, and you're on IGNORE.

No it isn't! This isn't anything remotely like that! It's not even a teeny tiny bit like that!

No. I've watched both sides of the arguments and I know what the facts are. They challenged the election. That happens. Gore did it on 2000. Kennedy did it in Hawaii and won.

The problem they had was that they were chasing bad voters after the tally. They should have been doing what they did this year and challenging the votes before they are counted. That way the judge had a remedy. There was no remedy to ballots that have been deidentified and counted.

I didn't lie about anything. You made this ridiculous argument that because Trump didn't do Hitler like things in his first term and Hitler didn't either, so Trump could still be like Hitler.

The stewpidity of that argument is that every politician in the US did nothing like Hitler in their first term. Further, Trump did so many things that Hitler would never do. He appointed judges that took power away from the federal government. He reduced regulations. He cut taxes. He made it a policy to not use the military in foreign countries.

So, yes, I boiled down the ridiculousness of your argument to its core statements. The fact that you call it a lie and would ignore me for pointing out the logical flaws in the argument speaks to your inability to form a coherent, consistent and cohesive argument as well as your inability to accept your own mistakes.

  3. If 1 and 2 fail, pretend it never happened.
  4. Everyone you disagree with is Hitler.
  5. A word is defined by the emotion it elicits and not the actual definition.
  6. If they are wrong, blame the opponent.
  7. If a liberal policy didn't work, it's a conservatives fault and vice versa.
  8. If all else fails, just be angry.

Once project 2025 kicks in, Americans will be in for a cold awakening. Women rights, gay rights, and even minority rights will be curtailed. There is a good chance Trump will come after political opponents and the media, by persecuting them. By 2028, America will look like Putin's Russia.

The question here is, when 2028 rolls around and America looks NOTHING like Putin's Russia, or any form of Russia, will you cry like a little b*tch when I rub that dumbass post in your face?

But none of that matters, because those are all things he did in his first term, when he wasn't Hitler. Now he is. He is getting up there, and people take up new relaxing hobbies when they enter their golden years. Some people take up golf, but Trump was already into that. So at the age of 78, Trump has decided to take up national socialism.

They will insist it does look like putin's Russia. They will insist that the economy is horrible, and that all women's rights have been removed and that women are dying every 5 minutes because of his laws and that innocent immigrants who were legally admitted into the country are being thrown out directly into pittsfield with snakes in Mexico

It's what they did in the last time. From economy was pretty solid and his covid response was good. He definitely screwed a few things up with covid as far as making stupid statements but the actual stuff he did was pretty spot on and similar to what everyone else did.

But they insisted that the economy was the worst in our history, he damn near killed everybody during covid, so on and so forth

Being left wing these days means never having to worry about what the truth of the matter is

You have a point here. There truly is no reasoning with wokejobs. So they key now is to erase wokeness from this country, and I believe we're off to a good start. Trump is assembling his team and it looks pretty damn good so far.

It will take time. But the results of this election show there's a great deal of hope. Black Americans and Hispanic Americans in very large numbers put aside their blackness and hispanic-ness and just worried about being Americans. Women realized that while nurturing is important if you don't have a roof over your head your family is going to suffer.

I'd like to think that the democrat party has learned a little bit of a lesson about being radical and maybe a lesson or two about just incessantly constantly lying and smearing and attacking their opponent rather than putting forward good policy. Sadly some of the evidence on this board suggests otherwise. But maybe they'll be able to digest that over the next 4 years

I don't think it fits the definition, as yet. What it seems to be now, a nation that is open and ready to embrace it: the only gap and step that remains is to convert the words and claims that were spoken into the reality. With nothing real and solid to prevent it. Could be troubling if someone was thinking and caring.

But here's the thing: history couldn't care less about ifs and buts: only the acts and their consequences. You bought it, knowingly and consciously. And the bill will be coming with all the certainty of the Time itself. You can fool yourself, friends and neighbors, simple-minded, weak-minded, throngs and crowds: but no one managed to fool the Time. Of course you knew it. You knew everything. No excuses.

If it's you or them, the truth is equidistant
