Does the left realize they are making fun of the middle class, working families? Don't get me wrong, alienate the largest voting bloc all you want. Keep going. It's working.

The Rules for Liberal tactics:

  1. If they can't refute the content, attack the source.
  2. If they can't refute the content, attack the poster.
  3. If 1 and 2 fail, pretend it never happened.
  4. Everyone you disagree with is Hitler.
  5. A word is defined by the emotion it elicits and not the actual definition.
  6. If they are wrong, blame the opponent.
  7. If a liberal policy didn't work, it's a conservatives fault and vice versa.
  8. If all else fails, just be angry.

A teaching degree is the easiest degree you can get in college and that with majors like women's studies around and most of your professor who couldn't get a job in the real world and live in academia and know little of reality.

Thanks for explaining the bigoted conclusions of the typical conservative. AKA something I already knew.

Thanks for demonstrating that you can't address his points and simply accuse people of being bigots instead of addressing the facts that they mentioned. AKA you're a doof

It makes sense that if someone is poorly educated or uneducated that they will buy into something without scrutinizing it much. However, saying that Trump's voter base is uneducated is hard to prove.

No it is not. There are many surveys which capture years of education along with party choice and candidate choice:

White non-college voters. White voters without a college degree were critical to Trump’s victory in 2016, when he won the group by 64% to 28%. In 2018, Democrats were able to gain some ground with these voters, earning 36% of the White, non-college vote to Republicans’ 61%. In 2020, Biden roughly maintained Democrats’ 2018 share among the group, improving upon Clinton’s 2016 performance by receiving the votes of 33%. But Trump’s share of the vote among this group – who represented 42% of the total electorate this year – was nearly identical to his vote share in 2016 (65%).“

You are saying people who don't go to college are dumber than people who do. I don't know I know some plumbers and electricians who make 6 figures a year and I know some College grads hoping to get a job a Chilis with 100k in student loans. I wonder who the smarter ones are.

Not all college degrees are created equal, you have the ones that get you gainfully employed and pay for themselves and you some that get you employed at Starbucks and up to your eyeballs in debt.

If we go by the typical attendee at donalds rallies,  those decked out in trump regalia,  then,  anecdotally, we can come a reasoned conclusion that these are not bright nor well educated folks. ( see citations in post #1)

As a trend, yes college grads are smarter. There are standards to get in and through, and then there's the matter of self selection. Most of the people who don't have the smarts to succeed academically figure that out in high school. (Though, by the time they make it to an internet forum, many somehow forget that they weren't the smart kids in class.)

But more importantly, college grads are better educated.

They are better indoctrinated not better educated. Most of these liberal arts degrees are next to useless they are there for colleges to rake in more money without having to lower their standards on real degrees that will get you jobs.

Liberals have this weird obsession with a piece of paper in that you think it makes people better, trust me it doesn't.

I admit I went to college and I got my degree in Accounting, and yes it was worth getting but its a very marketable degree but I don't think I am better or smarter than anyone else.

All you smart educated liberals who want to bring in Kamala don't realize all those tax cuts of Trumps are gonna expire and everyone taxes are going up, she hasn't even promised to do jack about it except increase child tax credits which are great for everyone with kids but those without are going to have to pay even more in taxes to pay for other peoples kids.

You are right that a degree doesn't make someone better than someone else. And you may be right that you are not smarter than someone else. But I did not speak of goodness or of individual intelligence, but of a trend.

A college degree--and particularly an advanced degree--is correlated with measurable intelligence. If someone gave you the task of choosing 1 person with an above-average IQ plucked from a crowd, would you choose to pluck from a college graduation ceremony or the local mall? And if you can't figure out the answer, I can suggest a place to learn it.

And yes, graduates are absolutely better educated. If someone gave you the same challenge to pick 1 person who would be able to explain the driving mechanisms of evolution or macroeconomics or even basic statistics, would you do your choosing at a college graduation ceremony or at the local mall?

Like those subjects, critical thinking is part of most general education. You probably were taught critical thinking as an undergraduate, and likely some statistics. So these are very easy questions. You just find the answers politically inconvenient.

There's a reason Trump SAID, "I love the poorly educated." He knows HIS BASE.

Getting INTO any top college REQUIRES a strong academic record. Most people with that, are smarter than the average bear.

Not to say that ALL who don't are stupid, just that the likelihood of smarts is lower and unproven.

IF you had gone to college you would know what's required means you have learned to think much better just like a professional athlete is more in shape and more skilled than someone who doesn't meet that standard.

I went to university kid, and you're wrong. You learn how to look things up and repeat things that your teacher wants to hear. You may gain knowledge on the subjects youre taking but there's only a few disciplines that actually require real thinking skills to get through.  Most do not.

And the fact you think otherwise suggests strongly that you've never been to college or university.

there were  a few studies that suggested that iq was affected by length of education but they've all been pretty much discredited at this point.  Funny enough  how WELL you do in university seems to have very little to do with intelligence. The smartest students are often not the 'A' students.

Why would the Democrats want to further split the population? Don't they want to lead all Americans? I thought they were promoting unity.

Guess that has all been bullshit.

Its so lonely in m'saddle since m'horse died.

They want to make the case that they clearly know better than you so by "leading": You they intend to tell you what to do because you're too stupid to know the right thing to do yourself

Lol...Kamala...who's clearly a m0ron...and Tampon Tim will "tell me what to do"?

Hardly...

1. I'm a Canuck. So they will effect our economy...negatively.

2. Kamala's voice is like listening to a kindergarten teacher with a nasal problem. And Timmy? Is a fcking joke. This "joy" crap...gimme a break. If that sells in the USA...then they are truly dumber than commonly thought. (Not all of 'em but...I figure you know what I mean)

How does anyone justify these 2?

And the answer to that, is as obvious as @myata posts. Or @robosmith. Pure, unadulterated hatred. Cultivated by most of the media for a decade now.

Hell I bet most of these Libbies hate Trump for his Jan. 6 rally. Pfft...simpletons. This is not about that...unfortunate yet expected event. No...it's not that that has the "elite" pissing their panties. It's American hegemony. Trump is in direct conflict with it. That's because he sees no sense in owning the world. He realizes...like hundreds of millions in the western world...that power has been corrupted and what our leaders are doing is plainly destructive to our once thriving societies. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN is a perfect motto for him. He's not Liberal nor Conservative really. Instead he's just a blustery guy who's tired of watching America get sucked dry.

No no, honestly they know better than you. They're sure of it. The problem is you don't know how dumb you really are and how geniusly smart they are.

If only you could understand the brilliance and intellectual marvel of putting tampons in male bathrooms, then you see how superior they are.

If only your brain could comprehend that you can borrow money forever without consequence as long as it funds something important like lesbian dance theory, you would willingly turn the decision making over to them and you'd be glad to do it.

No my friend, it is not for the lowly likes of you and I to question the great intellect of those who had the foresight to turn over a nation that the US had already conquered to the very group they had conquered it from thereby allowing women children and many others to suffer horribly at the hands of religious fanatics.

It is only for us to thank our lucky stars that we have such incredible genius at our disposal to make our decisions for us and guide us in our ignorance.

You're probably chuckling to yourself having read that. You realize that is literally how they think right :)
