Some people just talk out of their ass. Pretending they have some meaningful point is a waste of time. I have yet to witness Nationalist discuss any topic in good faith.

And some people lie as a matter of course because the truth will expose them as nothing more than petty tyrants scrambling to justify their need for power.

Its so lonely in m'saddle since m'horse died.

The end result of their manifold efforts will absolutely be a massive expansion and normalization of transgender and nonbinary identity in our society, probably beyond what would have naturally occurred in the same span of time.

Good point.

I think that drag queen story hour would have been a curious fad at best if it hadn't been made into a battlefield.

I don't care either way if a parent wants to bring their kids.  We've happened upon them, and my kids don't seem interested.  But parents now mobilize and feel the need to schedule these events to signal inclusion in a hostile environment.

What is apparent and telling is how the cult likes to kick and trash anything and everything that the free world has done internationally, literally siding with dictators and fascist thugs, and no exaggeration. See how they try to apologize, explain and bail out Vlad - literally, a Hitler in our century. That has to mean something.. but what?

If it's you or them, the truth is equidistant

"Semi-fascist" Duh

Right. He got shot for saying peacefully and patriotically. The victim is at fault. Just like a woman is at fault for getting raped because she wore a short dress.

The Rules for Liberal tactics:

  1. If they can't refute the content, attack the source.
  2. If they can't refute the content, attack the poster.
  3. If 1 and 2 fail, pretend it never happened.
  4. Everyone you disagree with is Hitler.
  5. A word is defined by the emotion it elicits and not the actual definition.
  6. If they are wrong, blame the opponent.
  7. If a liberal policy didn't work, it's a conservatives fault and vice versa.
  8. If all else fails, just be angry.

This attachment of the cult to dictators and all the way down to aggressive fascists, note no exaggeration how can it be explained?

What happens when you call all of your fairly moderate, centrist, opponents "communist," "socialist" and "Marxist" for decades? Especially when most normal people like the moderate, centrist liberal policies that you're labeling as such, and hate the vulgar hate and fear based politics of the right?

Actual Marxist socialist ideology is pretty complicated and the average person has little comprehension as to what it is. And actual leftists have very little influence in any major party, and barely have anything resembling mass media. So I have to assume that the significant increase in American support for socialism over the last decade is due in large part to miscalculated republican messaging more than anything else.

Out of a short-term desire to smear your opponent, you actually provide decades of free propoganda in support of actual leftist ideologies.

Matthew's been brainwashed into thinking that DEI is a "Center" issue, the poor communist bastard.

Your idea about drag queens and hypocrisy is a perfect example. I don't know how many republicans actually deeply care about this obsessive gender stuff vs are just using it to mobilize people. In the case of transgender identity, probably most democrats are lukewarm to it, or at least were before Republicans got so involved. The end result of their manifold efforts will absolutely be a massive expansion and normalization of transgender and nonbinary identity in our society, probably beyond what would have naturally occurred in the same span of time. When a minority of outspoken people use overt hateful rhetoric and authoritarian policies to attack marginalized groups, most of society in the long run eventually gets behind those groups.

Perfect example of arguing against a strawman.

As I already pointed out to him, the issue is not mere Drag Queens. No, I would presume the vast majority of folks on the right could not care less about what grown ass men do in their private time to get their kicks.

The issue is when those grown ass men want to get their kicks off children. When Democrats and liberals want to push their LGBTQ sexual fetish acceptance onto kids in schools and encourage and take their children to what amounts to a strip show with scantly clad dudes dancing like stippers in front of them taking money in their g-strings.

THAT is the issue folks care about.

Absolutely not true. It is beyond absurdly untrue.

It is almost like you are trying to excuse it and justify it....

This has continued to be pushed by those on the left more and more and more. But of course, the real problem for folks like you is that folks on the right noticed and are now rightly pointing out what the left is doing and opposing it.

I mean... it is almost like you really do have an agenda here, you just don't want to defend it and ignore my comments picking apart yours.

I'm saying WOULD HAVE BEEN.  That means I am making a supposition.  As in "suppose this never became a political football"...

And the rest of your post is more of that very football game.

I don't care about it.  I wouldn't and don't take my kids.  Others can do so. I think that the entire point of it is politics now.

My opinion. And yes, I have you on Ignore.

Maybe it's because your post talks past mine... I say it's a political battlefield, then you say you disagree but then say that the left is pushing it - reinforcing my point.

If you want to fight about drag queening find someone else.  The cultural wars are mine to ignore if I choose.

LOL, yeah right, you built a strawman in your previous post and you ignored my correcting you there too.

Yeah, you can ignore me, and I can point out what you are doing too.

You play this game acting like you are above the subject, but you really are not. You post just enough disinformation and then run from the criticism.

Sure we do. It's where government takes center, left AND right stage. In essence, government controls everything.

Well, ok. I'm going to focus on things that matter, not this political chum...

Keep fighting me as though we're actually discussing something if you enjoy doing that.

I'm not running from criticism, I'm using IGNORE.  That means I don't see your posts unless I click on them and say SHOW POST.

Enjoy our future discussions, by all means.

I mean, ok if you say so. Whatever the particulars are from one republican to the next doesn't matter. Overall, this particular issue is playing out as a massive campaign against some group of people. Which increases awareness of that group and ultimately is contributing a lot toward that group and that way of thinking being accepted in society.

This is not an argument for anything. Its an simply a fact that is analogous to every other similar situation where the largely disliked right wing social policy views serve to galvanized the entire country against whatever thing republicans are for.

Conservatives are anti gay marriage for decades? = Gay marriage becomes widely accepted and normalized.

Decades of republicans politicizing abortion? = Most people now pro abortion.

Conservatives call their liberal opponents socialists every day? = Socialism becomes more popular (gotta move on to "communism" now I guess)

This trend has been going on for many years. Its unavoidable too. The current anti-trans thing for example is an obvious way to signal to millions of bigoted voters that you're their guy. The appeal of getting those votes matters more to republicans than the reality that their political actions inevitably increase the thing they are saying they are against.

Well, I would say unavoidable by definition.

Conservatives are defined as standing with traditional institutions and practice.  This is why I am a conservative and a reactionary who wants the state to ban ideas is not.

So you will get the classic battle when social progressives try to push for policy change in that arena.  Once the momentary battle ends, the conflict moves to another area.

And progressives don't absolutely "win" just because things change.  Otherwise, the young reactionaries wouldn't be waxing nostalgic for the 70s 80s and 90s as I have read 🤣

You're not being honest here. You're conflating drag story hours in schools and libraries with drag events in private establishments.
