1. How does any of that prove your stupid argument that weather isn't climate?

2. Whatever changes there MAY have been, it's not enough to scare anyone. Lead race hustler and all around scumbag, Barack Obama, owns beachfront property in Martha's Vineyard and he's not even fazed.

You hypocrites are just going to have to work harder at selling your bullshit. ;)

You're NEVER going to understand the climate science cause you're too lazy and stupid to even read the research.

Heck, I even question the CO2 measurements from Hawaii upon which all this is based/

What's your question? How is it measured? LMAO

I understand that there's nothing to worry about, and you should understand the same. ;)

When have temperatures ever not been increasing or decreasing in all of the world's history?

AVERAGE temperatures over 30 years DO NOT ROUTINELY vary without SIGNIFICANT CAUSES.

Shorter term, they will change according to the:

Quote

El Niño and La Niña are two opposing climate patterns that break these normal conditions. Scientists call these phenomena the El Niño-Southern Oscillation (ENSO) cycle. El Niño and La Niña can both have global impacts on weather, wildfires, ecosystems, and economies.

Define average temperatures here or what you call vary.

This is just nonsense.

You can easily look at the last 100 years and see average temperatures varying over 30 years before this last 30 years.

Yes, and there WERE SIGNIFICANT CAUSES such as GIGA-TONS of CO2 being dumped into the atmosphere every year.

And?

I've challenged you before to find one of your "peer reviewed" papers that concluded we have a crisis.

Its so lonely in m'saddle since m'horse died.

I believe that must be sarcasm.

I repeat again that you should really reconsider posting to posters where there's no respect between you.

I remain convinced that this medium has great potential once we start using it properly. Right now, a lot of us.... Me included.. use it for the wrong reasons.

I want to educate myself by talking to people with a different point of view and different opinions, but who hold intellectual honesty and are generally empathetic and principled.

Scientists don't conclude "crisis." They report probabilities of DAMAGES IF nothing is done to mitigate them.

The Earth is warming, esp the US this summer. Permafrost WILL MELT releasing GIGA-TONS of methane. That is the pending crisis.

Bet you're running your AC and contributing to the problem, just like your DENIAL of REALITY contributes to it.

I don't post JUST for the quoted. Embarrassment followed by destruction of credibility with others is a primary goal

It's best to start with intellectual honesty. Might want to throw in some empathy and principle Behavior as well

You literally just upvoted a post asking me to kill myself a few days ago. That is your current version of empathetic and principled.

I have pointed out dozens and dozens of times when you are intellectually dishonest. You have a number of tricks you usually fall back on.

You keep coming up with these cheesy little crybaby statements about how how you wish we could have reasonable discussions around here but your behavior never changes. And your behavior is dishonest as I have pointed out many times

You're most likely path to having honest conversations is to have honest conversations.

Yes... what?

You didn't bother to explain anything you asserted at all.

1. There's no credibility in the posters you speak of.

2. You can't embarass an ignoramus.

3. They think the same about you and enjoy the attention.

4. You shouldn't feel good about stepping on a bug.

Do you not know what a greenhouse is and how it works? Nor the chemical reactions that make CO2 a greenhouse gas?

It is amazing how obtuse you are. Simple logic entirely escapes your understanding.

I understand these concepts. These were not what we were talking about.

You said:

"AVERAGE temperatures over 30 years DO NOT ROUTINELY vary without SIGNIFICANT CAUSES."

I asked:

"Define average temperatures here or what you call vary."

Now, are you going to actually try to engage honestly here or just run away like you almost always do?

Watch out, he will threaten to block you! LOL

LOL oh been there and done that many times. :)  Mike's a very dishonest person.  And the main reason he threatens to block you is that if you post facts he doesnt' like he can ignroe them and claim you were blocked right at that moment so he didn't see them if he gets called on it later.

It's like that scene from Big Bang theory when Sheldon tells brent spiner that he's  his mortal enemy now, and Wil Wheaton turns to Brent and tells him "Don't worry. It doesn't take up a whole lot of your time".

How much better it would be to create a group of principled posters from across the political spectrum and elevate THAT dialogue, thereby freezing out the peanut chuckers ?

You are talking to one of the most unprincipled peanut chuckers on this forum. If you can't see that, then your notion of what constitutes an unprincipled peanut chucker is just about worthless.

But you still occasionally engage in discussions with these types? I know that I do.. regrettably.
