Bill Gates: Rich nations should shift entirely to synthetic beef

Pretty thoughtful article. Maybe you should read it instead of just quoting the headline.

While I'll admit Gates is not stupid...I will admit he's dangerous.

This push to get people to accept fake meat, eat bugs, forsake farming because of cow farts...is Gawd Damn insidious.  The bast@rd is busily buying up all the land...not already bought by the Chinese.

This greenie agenda is evil.!

Well, it's a set of ideas, like Marxism, fascism, democracy , postmodernism..

The way these things work is you go after the ideas. You can call the adherent dangerous, say the idea is insidious and evil.

But that doesn't say anything about the idea.

It absolutely does. There is no crisis. None of your vaunted "scientists" will go any further than to say "could be". And all of them are government funded.

Thus all this financial and infrastructure damage is caused by a massive lie told to scare people into acceptance of the damage being done.

Causing mass hysteria and convincing to public to acquiesce to inflicting suffering on themselves based on a lie...is EVIL!

1. Well it says you don't approve of it.
2. This has been looked at and most qualified people and even unqualified think there is a concern, if not crisis.  You don't need anything beyond 'could be' with a percentage to assess a risk.  Everybody gets paid for a living in our system, so 'government funded' means nothing unless there's a world wide government conspiracy afoot, and there isn't.

So - that's a summary of what we have already discussed.  But you didn't provide any new evidence with your post, or any evidence at all.  You and others have had lots of chance to debate this idea in the public square and have failed, so your only recourse is to brand it 'evil' I guess.
3. Conspiracy theory.  No evidence
4. Superstition and conspiracy theory.  If you have new evidence that hasn't been debated down then please post.  Otherwise, this is an opinion, ramped up to rant level.

Here's a much better headline: Bill Gates is shifting entirely to synthetic beef.

See, that way, he is leading by example rather than trying to drag "everyone" into what he thinks his best.

The article serves two purposes:

1. it's a call to action for woketards, like you.

and

2. it's an opportunity for real Americans, like me, to help expose this piece of shit as a wannabe dictator.

Whether most scientists outside climatology believe that global warming is happening is less relevant than whether the climatologists do. A letter signed by over 50 leading members of the American Meteorological Society warned about the policies promoted by environmental pressure groups. “The policy initiatives derive from highly uncertain scientific theories. They are based on the unsupported assumption that catastrophic global warming follows from the burning of fossil fuel and requires immediate action. We do not agree.”2 Those who have signed the letter represent the overwhelming majority of climate change scientists in the United States, of whom there are about 60. McMichael and Haines quote the 1995 report of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), which is widely believed to “prove” that climate change induced by humans has occurred.3 The original draft document did not say this. What happened was that the policymakers’ summary (which became the “take home message” for politicians) altered the conclusions of the scientists. This led Dr Frederick Seitz, former head of the United States National Academy of Sciences, to write, “In more than sixty years as a member of the American scientific community ... I have never witnessed a more disturbing corruption of the peer-review process than the events that led to this IPCC report.”4

Oh my! The government has been warping the actual scientific findings. Quelle suprise.

The article goes on to say,

Quote

Policymaking should be guided by proved fact, not speculation. Most members of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change believe that current climate models do not accurately portray the atmosphere-ocean system.

This is what it looks like. PURE EVIL!

You wanna play little word games and try to justify this...disgusting idea and imposition...bring it on sonny!

I have had it with this UN/govenmental and institutionalized fear porn. Its destroying the entire global economy and has zero real justification.!

The idea itself is insidious and evil.

I didn't read the article because I don't need to read the article. The heading itself told me everything I need to know: You have a billionaire saying "everyone should". When a scumbag like that has said "everyone should" it means "everyone will" has already been set in motion.

Gates isn't the only global cultist who's in on this, which makes this "idea" that much more dangerous.

That fcker should be publicly called out and marginalized...every Gawd Damn time he shows his evil face in public.

@Aristides

Hi Tweenkie-Poo...why don't you do something other than lie?

Prove there's a crisis...if you can.

Either that or take your whiney crap and go starve a baby...freeze to death some old retired lady...go watch people put food back on the shelves because the prices have risen so much that they have to feed their families KD and hot dogs now.

Your an evil piece of sh1t... @Aristides.

This garbage is going to be stopped. There is no scientific proof of any "climate crisis". Its all warped by the governments and institutions.

So come on @Aristides...man-up and prove there's a crisis worth fcking the global economy over...ESPECIALLY when every nation is now trying to recover from the insane spending of The Rona BS.

Go ahead jack-a55...grow a spine or p1ss off.

Well at least you provided something new, ie. I haven't seen this before.  So first of all: good for you.

However... Please put your outrage in a little box and bury it in your yard, at least for the time being.

That is: Just because policy makers exaggerate conclusions to drum up support from the "public", ie. "masses" doesn't mean that there's no reason for action or that it's entirely a "lie".  For all we know, the boy who cried "wolf" might have seen a stray dog, right ?

So... we can, simultaneously, demand that government be honest with us while ALSO demanding that the "public" step up and be honest in their response.   The problem is how to do it in a mass society.

If you actually hold absolute honesty as a PRINCIPLE, well good for you.  I do applaud that.  Now, in practical terms, how do you propose making a clearer and more honest picture available for public consumption - by a "public" not by the mob ?

I ask with an open mind, and honest curiosity here.

Alrighty then

The governments and institutions have propagated this climate fear-porn for decades now. NONE of their over the top predictions have come to pass. Why? How is it that so much effort and money...OUR money...is blown on warping science and lying to the faces of the "masses"?

How would I make it clear? By telling the Gawd Forsaken truth!

1. There is no climate crisis. In fact, it appears the poles and oceans are now cooling a bit.

2. We have just emerged from a pandemic (we can debate the validity of that too if you like?) during which the governments printed money and devalued everything. Now...when a recovery "should" be everyone's primary concern...these evil pr1cks are doubling down on destroying a primary pillar of the global economy. Why? ESPECIALLY when they know the facts and warp them for their political purposes.

3. You are correct. I am outraged. I have had it with this abject chicken sh1t!

4. What to do? Drill Baby Drill. Farm, mine, bring the economy back from the brink. As it does...which it would...invest in research into alternate energy sources. Implement some even. See how they work. Eventually these scientists will find a way to generate power without burning things. Perhaps even without the inherent risk of nuclear power. But do not forsake our existing power source out of fear and lies. Not until we can perfect another means and not by imposing suffering on the entire globe...based on lies.!

I was going to make that point as well.

Not one of these a$$holes wants to live the standards they set for "everyone" else as they think they are above it - as if they're royalty.

My God, do they really want to live through a full scale revolt?

IMO...the powers that be are "priming" the global population for disaster of their own making.

The Rona scare.

The wars.

The immigration.

The climate BS.

The population is freaked out now. They'll wait till its unlivable and then...present a solution that appears to save the world. People will willingly hand over what's left of their freedom. Et voila...mission accomplished.

Read the last 2 chapters of The Illuminati.

Coincidence?

Again, they provide not evidence to the contrary, they don't provide sources, they just disagree.

The beef thing is just a small part of the Gates interview. But you wouldn't know that unless you read it.

Why would I read it?

Do you really think I give a crap what Bill Gates thinks about anything?

Do you wear a WWGD bracelet? (What Would Greta Do?)

...The leftard credo.

FYI "not paying attention to what Bill Gates is saying" is not ignorance, any more than "not reading robo's posts" is ignorance.  That's like saying that if you don't eat chicken nuggets you don't know anything about playing chess.

Why would you comment on something you have never read? That's willful ignorance. You want to be ignorant so you don't have to deal with it.

Being from the high desert.. I can see why this type of thinking would come about. Limited water, dry climate, rising populations, and high amounts of erosion  from cattle eating the ground cover. However, a lot of other places can and do support cattle with none of the aforementioned issues; Kansas, Texas, Oklahoma, South Dakota, amongst others. All in all.. not a terrible idea but as long as you give folks the choice of what to eat, you have to allow for the real thing to be produced and consumed.
