61 Attacks on US Bases in Iraq and Syria Since Oct 7th - Biden's Retaliation Plans Leaked - DO NOT SHARE THIS!!!!

Last night on Fox News they said that there were 61 attacks on US bases in Iraq and Syria since Oct 7th, but I couldn't find a link from them.

According to Fox that came right from the State Dept.

I couldn't find that from any American sources, although I only searched about 6 different tries, but I did find one foreign source: https://english.almayadeen.net/news/politics/us-occupation-bases--forces-attacked-61-times-since-october

An interesting quote:

Quote

"I wouldn’t say that it’s inviting a more aggressive or further response from the Houthis. We’ve seen the Houthis do this before," Singh said, adding "We’ve seen one of our MQ-9s shot down before in the past. I’m not saying that we’re not going to respond. We always reserve the right to respond at a time and place of our choosing."

That's not a good look. The US had a drone shot down, while it was flying in Yemeni airspace no less, and they "reserve the right to respond at a time and place of [their own] choosing"?

If their response to that includes the death of any Yemenis that's beyond the pale imo. I'm generally in favour of American involvement here, but not "we'll take an eye for a toy".

Anyways, the above snippet about Yemen was just a sidebar to the bigger picture, America sure looks like everybody's biatch right now

Domestically there are terrorists telling America what's up in huge rallies in the tens of thousands, and abroad they're having their lunch money stolen from them.

Regarding the 61 attacks, Biden actually drew up a response himself, but apparently it has been leaked:

ScreenShot2023-11-18at11_54_52AM.thumb.png.3f851c3a6d6b2b25a4bba9cada87ceed.png

The Pentagon has yet to confirm whether this is authentic, but it looks strangely like his plan for the Afghan withdrawal.

It makes sense that he would use the same, highly effective plan again, but in any event, DO NOT SHARE THIS! You could be found guilty of treason if it's legit.

Hmmm, I found an official US government website on the 1st try that a little over a week ago had this to say.  You can do the math yourself but 61 attacks since Oct 7 sounds about right.

Over the last three weeks, Iran-backed militia groups have attacked U.S. bases and facilities in Iraq and Syria 41 times.

Of course when I do it again this comes up on P1: https://apnews.com/article/us-iraq-syria-iran-airstrikes-attacks-c6b8a0b82698d113ac32619ab1adfc01

Gross. Itchy Cootch Park ?

Apparently there's an actual Itchycoo Park in eastern Australia: Itchycoo Park, Sewells Creek Road, Wisemans Creek NSW, Australia, but the real one is in London, and Itchycoo is just a nickname.

Geez, I wonder if there's a Chinese spy base hidden around there somewhere...

And shouldn't that be Dingo Creek?

It's crucial to do critical thinking in situations like this.

Q= Why are Arab groups launching attacks on US bases in the Middle East?

A= too may reasons to list.

The United States is hated by virtually every single person in the Arab World, And there are legitimate reasons for it.  America has destabilised the Middle East for nearly a century, and treated it's civilians like savages. Let's not forget that the US launched two unnecessary wars against Iraq, that created Al-Qaeda in the 90s, then ISIS after the second invasion.

Let's not forget that 1,000,000 Iraqi civilians perished from hunger, disease, etc. for the past 20 years. It's too easy to paint Iran as the boogeyman.  America needs to treat the Middle East nations with respect, and work with the population to improve the region in terms of human rights, standard of living, and economic opportunities.

We did this with Germany, Korea, and Japan after WW2, and they are eternally grateful for Americans enjoy full democratic rights. How did America lose it's way?

Its weird how so many people were routinely cancelled for uttering any of the above for decades. How do you get away with it?

Its like this phenomenon that's causing bin Laden's thoughts to resonate with people these days.

I've long wondered if it might be something as simple and tragic as being slower to do anything about all the lead in its gasoline than other countries.

The peer-reviewed study published by the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences (PNAS) journal discovered childhood exposure to leaded gasoline cost the U.S. a deficit of at least 824 million IQ points, or approximately 2.6 points per American.

At least some of the local kids in the general area around Rosedale subway station knew the greenspace behind the station as Itchycoo Park. I have no idea where the name came from but I do remember it. It was a little notorious for being a weekend evening party spot.

That song by Small Faces was performed during the psychedelic (LSD) days of British pop culture, Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds etc, yes party time.

Simple.  I have the ability to think critically. For some strange reason, you seem to have a very "black or white" view of the World.  The reality is that most intelligent people could have done some research in regards to the history of the Middle East, and easily determined that many of the best interests of America are not compatible with the interests of the local Arab population.

Were you one of the those "you are with us or the terrorists" people?

It has absolutely nothing to do with Bin Laden.  As most people who actually have studied history, and can do critical thinking, it's obvious that America has not exactly endeared itself to third World countries.

Well then, maybe stop sniffing gasoline at the pumps, and you will not accelerate the damage to your brain.

This is all so stupid. The entire world knows Biden's response is to hide in his basement. I have to wonder what the average military grunt thinks of all this.

Its so lonely in m'saddle since m'horse died.

No, I'm with oppressed people. Especially when their oppression is supported by advanced democracies. Black and white sums that up fairly accurately I suppose, but I think of it as being more like crossing a line.

In contrast I think waving your critical thinking and research skills around while denying others have any seems kind of monochromatic.

The Palestinians that are under Israeli subjugation despite the White Paper Policy and Britain's assurance that it wouldn't happen.

You sure have much to learn about history.

For starters, the British had promised a Palestine to the Jewish people in the Balfour Declaration in 1917.  Due to the rise of the Nazis, and Arab countries threatening to align with Hitler, and supply him with vast amount of oil reserves, the British repealed the Balfour Declaration, and introduced the White Paper of 1939.

The Jews had no choice but to do nothing, as war was about to break out.  However, by 1944, when it was obvious the Germans were about to lose, the Jews organised fierce resistance to the British. The Haganah (future IDF) was formed in order to combat British rule, and to attain statehood for the Jews, as promised. Guerrilla warfare for two years convinced the British to abandon Palestine, and had the region over to the UN.

In 1947, the UN Partition Plan was created, splitting the region into a Jewish and Arab region.  The Jews accepted the UN plan, while the Arabs rejected it. Once Israel declared Independence in 1948, Arab countries in the region invaded the country.  They lost.

Then in 1967 and 1973, the Arabs once again declared war on Israel. Not only did the Arabs not succeed, but Israel captured the West Bank (Jordan), the Sinai Peninsula (Egypt), and the Golan Heights (Syria). This is where the Occupation started.

It has been 66 years since the occupation began. Eyeball is clearly arguing in bad faith, but this is precisely what happens when a weaker enemy declares war on a stronger military.  The superior military usually wins, and usually gains territory in the process. This is what happened in the Holy Land.

I think there's more you need to learn about ethics and principles like the ones demonstrated by friends of peace activist Vivian Silver who was killed on Oct 7th.

"We all promised to continue her journey. If she was here with us, she would have told us not to loose hope and to continue what we started doing together,"

https://www.reuters.com/world/the-peace-movement-was-orphaned-says-son-activist-killed-oct-7-2023-11-16/#:~:text=GEZER%2C Israel%2C Nov 16 (,Hamas militants on Oct. 7.

History that doesn't take things like ethics into account is mostly garbage when cited as justifications for present behaviour and action.

Britain had no business making a promise like this to anyone without asking the people who already lived there how they felt about it.  Is there anything in the historical record that indicates this happened or did the Balfour Declaration also allow the subjugation of the locals with impunity?
