The science is bought and paid for.

That's why we should only trust the scientists from Exxon and BP instead of the enormously overwhelming scientific consensus.?

Oh, wait, even they've known about the anthropogenic warming effects of their products for over 40 years.

The absolute silliest part of your argument is that there was some entity to pay for and profit from climate research for the last 4 decades. Like there is sometime out there paying accidents to make up a terrible news that nobody wanted to hear and from which no one was positioned to profit.

Of course - anyone who DOESN'T agree get shut up and loses their research funding. When you eilminate any dissenting voice, you do achieve 'consensus'  :)

True. I know a guy doing research. He told me flat out. Every year he has to apply for a research grant and that as long as he relates his research to global warming...somehow...he gets his grant.

Climate change is real. More countries report higher temperatures are affecting the growth habit of its top crop of human consumption : wheat.   Plant geneticists fear they cannot alter the genes of wheat in time  to ensure it retains the vitamins , starch and protein content and photochemical structure it has now if the temperature globally continues to climb.  If viable modern  wheat is no.longer able to be grown the world will.lose over 20% of its food energy, and the risk if cardio vascular disease, Colo rectal cancer and other digestive tract cancers, and type 2 diabetes will dramatically rise. As of the last recorded totals, the world is growing and consuming 777.9 million metric tons of wheat per year including all types. Yet, A temperature increase in the range of 86 to 91 degrees Fahrenheit will begin to damage its growing and nutrient retention ability . At 91 degrees wheat, as we know it, will cease to provide any of the enzymes humans eating it need to survive.  MAGA politicians insist on denying these climate change facts despite the United States' need of wheat as an essential grain.

Nobody is claiming the climate of the earth doesn't change. Global climates and temperatures have changed drastically over the millions of years of this planet's history, long before Homo Sape showed up.

Only a totally uneducated MOR0N claims human activity can change the climate.

MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN politicians know the truth. Sad that you left wingers are too stupid to handle the truth.

It's a common problem. Science is RIDDLED with bias these days and to get funding for your research you have to make it sound "sexy" and appeal to the science college that doles out the cash or other institute if they're funding it.

Researchers also used to make a lot of money then going around and giving discussions about their research - which made it even more valuable to go for 'hot topic'. research.  Get a grant to show how global warming is causing bears to rape bunny rabbits and you are SET for quite a while, you become 'popular' and your next grant is green lit easy, and you make a fortune doing the media circuit talking about it

You'll recall how harper was accused of 'muzzling' the scientists when he said htey couldn't give media tours about thier own research without permission right?  Did you notice those same rules are in place under justin? ANd somehow nobody's claiming he's 'muzzling' them?

Sounds horrific. So the sky really IS falling. How will we make grains grow, so that little chickens can have their food?

We could eat the environmentalists?  I mean - by that time there'd be  no point to them anymore anyway.

No I didn't know that. More shitty crap. Government is the problem, not the solution.

Good question. Drought in Africa and the multitudes of economic refugees flooding Europe should give some sort of clue.

MAGAs are maroons the last time CO2 levels were this high was over 200 million years ago.

I would never eat such disgusting dross but maybe they could eat themselves... I heard they do that for chickens now anyway.

Kill all the white ones first.  ;)

There are two types of environmentalists. The brainwashed stupid types and the stupid brainwashed types.

There would be a third type, alas, the level of intellect makes it impermissible.

Nonsense.  we just have to tell one half of those people that the other half are Muslim and tell the ohter half that the first half are jews.

Make some popcorn and sit  back and keep the door locked  :)

Scientists all.over the world are trying to breed new strains of grains that will still retain their nutritional value when temperatures keep going up.  In a recent story I read that Emmer, an ancient grain, may hold some of those properties and its being studied as a potential grain to hybridize. There are others also, and its not just wheat that will fail as a crop if our climate continues to warm up.

and the furtherest back any version of thinking human is now given as 476,000 years ago based on carbon dating of some joined wooden arches found recently by renowned archeologists. This is before Homo Sapiens by a long shot.
