James Clapper Fears Trump Will Seek ‘Retribution’ if He Returns to White House

Former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper voiced concerns that Donald Trump will put him on the “enemies list” if he is elected president in 2024.

During an appearance on CNN, host Abby Phillip asked Clapper if he believed Trump had an “enemies list” and whether other high-ranking officials could be targeted if Trump regains power.

 

Sounds like the FBI just woke up and realized what happens if the OTHER guys start pulling the same tricks they did,

The fbi and the dems opened the door. For years and years political persecution of your political rival was off the table. Even trump was made to stand down over hillary.  Now they've torn the lid off of that and made it acceptable.  And of all people to do that with they decided to start with trump - easily one of the most vindictive people on the planet.

The "law" is just paper - it's power comes from the respect it generates from the people and orgs it governs. 

When respect for that law vanishes, criminals become heros and the laws become tools for politicians to beat their enemies.

The democrats threw the doors wide open when they created the fake steel dossier and the FBI laid out the carpet when they accepted it and spent the next 3 years trying to conjure up evidence to the point of breaking the law.

The vast majority of the other more recent charges are pretty bullshit as well. They're trying to keep him from running again.

If this was AN incident - then it would blow over.  But this has now been going on for 7 years. 7 Years of the dems completely abusing the system to go after trump.

It is extremely unlikely Trump will beat most of the charges because he foolishly intertwined them on his various properties, i.e. using the same modus operandi to inflate his self worth fraudulently in order to gain intrinsic value he could cash in on, then took the money from that and plowed it into new properties that he also overvalued to keep up the lie that he was worth billions...when in fact most of the money was fraudulently.obtained so not his worth at all. In the civil trial the Prosecution is only asking for  $250 million  but that is AFTER the Court appointed Receiver dissolves enough properties to pay back what Trump fraudulently.obtained by real estate fraud, banking loan fraud, tax fraud, and that doesn't include either any money Trump obtained by RICO violations. Subtract all that money from Trump, that leaves him very few properties and because no bank will want the bad publicity this generates with their investors, they won't loan him any more money. In fact most banks didn't trust him before all this and that proves how unsavory a financial reputation he already had before the 2016 election. In any case - i doubt any of the fake 'fraud' charges will amount to anything.  And most of the other charges he faces are pretty useless as well. The classified documents and secrets charges are more of a threat but that won't be resolved till after the next election, so if he wins they go away. The racketeering thing is a pretty severe stretch of the law, it's probably not going to survive to the supreme court.

So, It's very likely trump will be free and able to run his campaign with no hinderance and the charges hanging over him just encourage his supporters.  There is a strong chance he'll be the next pres of the us.  And of course then he'll pardon himself, and spend every waking minute going after the people who came after him.
