He's always like this.  He's very obviously wrong - it's not even any kind of debateable issue.  Tax assessment and market assessment are never the same unless by freak accident.

The article you posted makes that clear - but he posts one sentance out of context and then tries to claim he's right when it is PAINFULL obvious he isn't.

And he wonders why people have zero respect for him.  I don't understand - it's not great to be wrong but it's not the end of the world - why would you double down when it's been clearly proven you're wrong?

Hatred...that's why.

Wow you guys can be thick

It is no different from your income tax. Taxable income is based on your gross income minus deductions. Deductions just determine the amount you are taxed on, not your actual income. They can't determine your taxable income without knowing your gross income. Property taxes are no different. They have to determine the actual value of your property before they can determine the taxable value just like they need to know your gross income before they can determine your taxable income. Why is that so hard for you to understand?

They are not.  And everyone knows that who's ever owned a property.

From the article -

In the end, the assessor comes up with an assessment value of a home and deducts any tax exemptions for which you qualify. Then, that number is multiplied by an “assessment rate,” also known as “assessment ratio,” a uniform percentage that each tax jurisdiction sets that is typically 80% to 90%, to arrive at the taxable value of your property.

So if, say, the market value of your home is $200,000 and your local assessment tax rate is 80%, then the taxable value of your home is $160,000. That $160,000 is then used by your local government to calculate your property tax bill.

Do you get it yet? The tax rate is not the same as your market rate at all and is often VERY different.

Why are you like this?

The links prove he's right.

Do you know the meaning of "based on"? Your own quote says they START WITH the MARKET VALUE. Duh

BTW the adjustment factors VARY from district to district but the basis is ALWAYS market value. AKA selling prices

Fortunate for you that you can't even identify ANY lies.

That would put you in an awkward position when I post MORE PROOF of the TRUTH.

You can and will post all the nonsense and hopey-changey lies you like. none of that will change what's going to happen after the next election. None of it will save the Biden family. And none of it will alter the beatdown you hateful, destructive death-cultists have coming.

You're a disturbed individual.

It says right in the link that the two values are not the same. At all

And once again you say something stupid and rather that admit the OBVIOUS truth you'll try to spin it and fight it pointlessly.

Assessed value is NOT the market price. At all.

“Windmills are causing whales to die in numbers never seen before. Nobody does anything about that. They’re washing up onshore. You wouldn’t see it once a year. Now they’re coming up on a weekly basis. The windmills are driving them crazy. They’re driving the whales, I think a little batty.” —  Donald Trump making the claim, which is rooted in a climate sceptic conspiracy theory, at a rally in Summerville, S.C.

This is an interesting article. It talks about how your dumbass wind farms "May adversely affect whales" but not "kill" them. Trump may be jumping the gun here, but not by much. You see, dipsh*t, your precious windmills have been known to kill birds, and they put up a hell of a racket, so it's not a stretch to say that those noise polluters could kill other wildlife.

This article is talking about how some want to put a halt to the windmills until further research can be done. I agree 100% with that.

Trump Tells Allies He Wants Netanyahu ‘Impeached’

Quote

Trump has had phone calls with various pro-Israel GOP allies and donors who want to know what Trump would do on Israeli-Palestinian matters if he’s reelected. The former president has relayed ideas — including cutting off all aid to Palestinians and encouraging other nations to do the same, or capturing and extraditing certain Hamas figures — that he has recently discussed with certain policy advisers. But during these private conversations, Trump has also spent an inordinate amount of time aggressively trashing Netanyahu.

In a recurring comment that Trump has yet to voice publicly, the former president — and former close ally and supporter of the Israeli PM — has repeatedly expressed his strong desire for Netanyahu to be gone by the time Trump would potentially be back in office in 2025.  Since the attack, Trump has said Netanyahu should be ‘impeached’ by the Israeli parliament because Hamas’ shocking assault, which was preceded by an apparently catastrophic intelligence failure on the part of Netanyahu’s government, occurred on his watch.

Trump has also asked multiple longtime advisers if he should now publicly call for Netanyahu to step down as prime minister immediately.

From your cite:

NOAA and other agencies have said many of the dead whales appear to have been struck by ships or entangled in fishing gear, emphasizing there is no evidence linking offshore wind production and whale deaths.

AKA, NO REASON to stop development while additional research is being conducted.

Nope, too many question marks. We shut the f*ckers down until we know they aren't a hazard to everyone's health. We already know they kill birds, so the research will have to be extensive; maybe 40 or 50 years, just to be safe. ;)

Assessed value is based on market price. How else can they come up with an assessed value. Assessed value is for tax purposes, not actual market value. Just like your income taxes are on your taxable income, not your gross income. Taxable income is gross income minus deductions and exemptions. You really are that thick.

Nope - not even close.

In this case they also take into account the earning potential of the property as noted.

So what does that have to do with market price?

Elsewhere they come up with an assessment rate based on averages of market values in the area in the prior year.  Not the actual market value of a specific property.

Any more lies or are you done being stupid?

Earning potential makes a property more valuable, hence a bigger market price when they sell. You really are that thick.

Except you KNOW NOTHING about the trouble Netanyahu was already in; both legally and politically.

Add his negligence about the invasion and he's toast; at least after the emergency is over.

It's fairly clear that his negligence was intentional to most Israelis outside of the FAR RIGHT.

Except in the Mar-a-lago case many of the new members were buying access to the POTUS, which is WHY he doubled the price of entry AFTER he was elected.

All that goes away if he tries to sell.

He's no worse than any other politician. The point is, he and Trump will square things away once Trump is back in the Oval Office.
