There is no way that Canada can afford a dual fleet. Not saying we should kowtow to the US but, right now, the F35 is by far the better aircraft and regardless what Saab says, they will never bring production over here...at best, final assembly. We already have logistics support in Canada and a huge repair facility with L3 in Mirabel and avionics support by Arcfield Canada of Calgary.
