don't think of gold as some weird exotic money only for rich people

gold is the real money

the Canadian dollar is the fake paper money

you're not going to take a loss on gold in a crisis

the price of gold will go up

it's as safe & secure an investment as their is, in a crisis

real money, they now use gold flakes as money on the street in Venezuela

Just now, Dougie93 said:

bear in mind that Canadian banks were seen as the most stable

but by making the banks seize peoples money, or even just the threat of that

they will cause a panic

and if a Canadian bank fails

that shot will be heard around the world

that could incite contagion into a global financial crisis

Trudeau wants to inflict as much damage as possible. Cause a crisis then will magically have the answers which generally involve government overreach and trampling charter rights

it's too late now

he's undermined confidence in the Canadian banks

and they threatened to seize the money of American citizens

so that is already so crazy

that the panic is already in progress

the money is already starting flee Canada

can't get any federal MP's on the phone

now I'm dropping down to the next level, Ontario

trying to get my MLA on the phone

somebody in government has to call a halt to this

just crushing the truckers is not going to stop the crisis of confidence

quite the opposite, that's just throwing gasoline on the fire

they are going to do a Tienanmen Square crushing of peaceful protestors

on Parliament Hill in Canada

everybody around the world is saying that Trudeau is a madman

only a new Prime Minister could restore confidence now

the shock waves of this event a rippling out

the unintended consequences will play over years, even decades

Yesterday at work:

Red Cross wanted us to send all MREs we have in stock to downtown Ottawa in less than 12 hours.  That's 850 meals.

I've said from the beginning - the violence will NOT come from the truckers.

even if there is no violence at all

just the fact that Canada would put down a peaceful protest with emergency war powers

is seen as being so insane

that the crisis in confidence is about Trudeau being a madman dictator run amok

that's the global narrative

its even starting to pop up in fake news media now

If there is violence, it will. The police will just start pushing and towing.

They've been there three weeks now. The only act of violence came from a left wing nut bar in Winnipeg who ran over protesters and liberals in Ottawa vandalizing trucks

Quote

Quebec at both the federal & provincial level has rejected Trudeau's war powers imposition

and there are a lot of Quebeckers protesting

so this is cracking the Confederation itself

Not really, they are against the emergency measures act but 82% of BQ supporters think the protesters should leave. 71% of BQ supporters and 60% of Quebecers think economic interests must be protected even if it means limiting the protests

Are you serious?  A cache of guns and ammo and body armor has already been found in Alberta and 13 people arrested, four charged with conspiracy to murder RCMP officers.  These people have been linked to the same far right types that are occupying Ottawa.  Some occupiers in Ottawa defied the laws and police already and said they are not leaving and are willing to die for their cause.  What does that mean?  These are terrorists.

Several million have participated in peaceful demonstrations against the governments intrusion into their body.

You honestly linking the millions who peacefully demonstrated over the past few weeks against your warped worldview to a handful of people?

Pretty messed.

the protest has already undergone judicial review

only Trudeau says the protest is illegal

a judge did not say that

in fact the judge said the protest could continue, just stop honking horns for ten days

so a Canadian court has already ruled the protest to be within the rights of the protestors

No, you are trying to make that link yourself.  Dishonest.   Read my comments.  I was speaking about those who were arrested in Coutts, Alberta, and I referred to those in Ottawa who defied the law and said they were willing to die for their cause.  There is an ideological link between the extremist law-breakers.  They are part of the extremist far right.  I said nothing about the millions of peaceful demonstrators and it might not be millions.  Maybe tens of thousands.

You are doing the guilt by association BS.

Fact is there has been no violence despite some pretty despicable acts by those you support. You should be ashamed of yourself

That's not true.  A court has issued an injunction against the occupation.  It is illegal.
