Meanwhile Republicans in the shithole state of Florida just tabled a bill that creates a statewide list of banned books and places teachers under a gag order with criminal prosecution if they teach historical facts that make (white) people “feel guilty about their race”. Enjoy your fascist Putin-approved totalitarian shithole state.

ROFL.  You know Democrats have been crooked since Kennedy at least right?  They are masters at ballot stuffing and finding dead people to vote.  Your take on what is happening is right out of Pravda.  We do agree the USA is a shit hole but that is the fault of those that stole the election.

There’s no stolen election but the Republicans are trying to make that a reality!  Here’s today’s Republican election crooks.  As with all my posts in this thread its based on ACTUAL FACTS not your baseless accusations and conspiracies

'We're going to bum rush them': Kootenai Republicans accused of plot to infiltrate democratic ranks

KOOTENAI COUNTY, Idaho - A recording obtained by KHQ appears to show a plan by Kootenai County Republicans to infiltrate the Kootenai County Democratic party by picking their own candidates to run for the Dem's precinct captain positions, and once that's accomplished, funneling fundraising money from the Democratic party, to the Republican party.

Meanwhile another pro-rape, anti-woman Republican Red State shithole state takes us to a whole new level  of disgusting:

Idaho Republicans are also allowing the father and relatives of a “preborn child” to veto an abortion, effectively allowing a father to force his adult daughter to carry an unwanted pregnancy…..If the woman terminates her pregnancy without filing a police report, the rapist’s family, including up to 10 relatives, can still sue and collect a $20,000 bounty per relative. That’s $200,000 that a rape victim would have to pay to her rapist’s family. This is “pro-life.”

Well here’s yet another story of a MAGA sociopath running for public office  Comsidering the Trump administration was full of wife-beaters, including Trump himself is anyone surprised there’s a disgraced child-beating sexual predator who wants to run with Trump’s endorsement?

Ex-Wife of GOP Senate Candidate Says He Beat Children, Threatened Suicide If She Wouldn’t Support Him

Disgraced former Missouri Governor Eric Greitens is dead set on becoming the most scandal-ridden senator in Congress. Will Trump endorse the effort?

Ryan Bort March 21, 2022 3:44PM ET

Eric Greitens resigned as governor of Missouri in 2018 amid a wave of scandals ranging from allegations of sexual misconduct to felony charges for using a veterans charity list to raise campaign cash. Greitens seems to have figured this puts him right at home in the GOP of 2022, and he is currently in the midst of a race to secure the party’s nomination in the race for retiring Sen. Roy Blunt’s seat in Washington. Greitens, however, faces new allegations of extreme abuse. His ex-wife on Monday accused him of physically abusing their children, taking away her personal belongs, threatening her on several occasions, and threatening to kill himself if she didn’t support him ahead of his 2018 resignation.

Every day in every town, Republican crooks are running scams. No crime too big, no theft too small

Mayor charged with selling borough property and keeping the money

Ocean Gate Mayor Paul Kennedy faces allegations of theft, official misconduct

Ocean Gate Mayor Paul J. Kennedy sold assets owned by the borough on a government auction website called GovDeals.com and that used the proceeds for his own benefit, according to Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley Billhimer.

Billhimer also alleges that Kennedy, a 66-year-old Republican, didn’t deposit parking meter funds into Ocean Gate’s bank account, and that he sold office furniture from borough on Facebook and kept the money.

Kennedy faces charges of official misconduct and theft.…

This is not the first time Kennedy, a longtime ally of former Ocean County GOP Chairman George Gilmore, faced claims that he violated state law.

The New Jersey Local Finance Board fined him in 2014 for accepting about $50,000 in side-jobs with the Borough of Ocean Gate while he was serving as mayor.

Kennedy apparently hired himself as acting administrator, human resources director, insurance administrator and disabilities coordinator.

At the same time, Kennedy had a full-time job as a carpenter for Ocean County.

Ex-GOP Senate staffer sentenced to more than 12 years in child porn case

News

A former GOP Senate staffer has been sentenced to more than a decade in prison after pleading guilty in a case involving child pornography.

A federal judge sentenced Ruben Verastigui, 29, of Washington, D.C., on Thursday to 151 months in prison on a federal charge of receipt of child pornography, the Department of Justice announced.

Verastigui was arrested in February last year and pleaded guilty the following July.

Federal prosecutors say Verastigui, formerly a digital strategist with the Senate Republican Conference, was active in an online group devoted to trading child pornography and discussing child sexual abuse….From April 2020 through February 2021, Verastigui shared child pornography videos with another member of an online group and made numerous comments about sexually abusing children, prosecutors said.

So again despite Republicans many false/unproven claims of Democrat pedos YET ANOTHER PROVEN REPUBLICAN PEDOPHILE is actually convicted.  Remember, when Bill Clinton was investigated for the Lewinsky affair the highest ranking Republican of the time was Senate Speaker Dennis Hastert, who was later exposed as a lifelong pedophile who molested kids over many years. The Republican party is riddled with pedos:  Mark Foley, Jim Kilbe, Roy Moore, Anton Lazzaro, Joel Greenberg. Matt Gaetz will join the list of convicts soon.  J Jordan may not be a pedo but he knowingly turned a blind eye to his buddy, major-pedo predator Strauss during his time as a coach at Ohio State. Republicans are the pedo party.

And a so-called “Christian” Republican is sent to jail for being just another child abuser

Louisiana GOP official arrested for taping children's mouths shut at his Christian school

Matthew Chapman
April 08, 2022

According to the Lafayette Daily Advertiser, Rev. John Raymond, a Louisiana Republican Party official and pastor, has been arrested on charges of child cruelty following reports that he taped children's mouths shut at a Christian school he runs.

"Raymond is headmaster of the non-denominational Lakeside Christian School in Slidell," reported Greg Hilburn. "'Our students are encouraged to walk daily with Christ as they grow in maturity and stature surrounded by a dedicated, nurturing faculty,' Lakeside's website describes the school. But WWL reported three students and their parents said the children were brought by Raymond to his office, where the children's mouths were closed with packing tape that wrapped around their heads."

According to the report, the tape was a punishment for children who talk too much in class.

No I don't actually. I see the first line and move on. Your rants consume entire pages, one post after another of drivel.

IMO, you're a really disturbed person who needs professional help. You're so filled with hatred that you've lost complete touch with reality.

Its ok to have contempt for the vile hate-filled party that want’s to end democracy and whose members are getting arrested every couple of weeks.

Laddie...who squelched the Hunter Biden Laptop story and who called it "Russian Disinformation"? What were the results of this lie? Who benefited from this lie?

I see and hear your seething hatred for anyone who dare not be a card carrying Libbie. You try so hard to make it sound like Republicans are some sort of monsters, yet the facts don't support your wild accusations.

So really...in all seriousness...seek help. You're going to hurt yourself.

@BeaverFever you know - participating in the culture war gives legitimacy to the idea that there should be a culture war.

These are constructs made up, and only supported by individual incidents to distract from issues that are far more important and far harder to control.

The issues fought about in the Culture War are under the complete control of strategists and the copywriters they employ.  Trying to get more power and resources into the hands of the lower and middle class is a lot more difficult than trying to convince them that you are protecting them from some massive evil force that can't be seen.

Bingo!

See? You do have flashes of clarity. ;)

I actually feel sorry for The Beave. I think TDS has a lot to do with his...state...and the entire Culture War.

Of course there were signs before the Trump Admin. but it really fell into full-blown war in North America with his inauguration. And don't get me wrong...I don't object to ALL of these new Progressive ideas and edicts. Just...most of 'em. And some of my objection would obviously be a result of a natural aversion to being TOLD what to think and say and believe...instead of being asked. It would be nice if punitive actions were not tied to opposition too. I mean really...is censorship and even now prosecution really where we all wanna head? Gawd knows I don't.

As for The Beave and the millions of tortured souls just like his...who knows? Maybe they just need someone to love them?

2. I have never understood this hatred for Trump. The best I can surmise is that his open opposition to China and Globalism drove the elite and media to attack and convince the public of nonsense. To scare the hell out of them. Yet...it was all lies.

3. Newt has been blamed for the beginnings of the political rift. I don't remember him ever being as batshit crazy as this Democrat mob though.

4. Agreed. The question is 'how'? There has been so much bad blood produced that I'm frankly surprised there hasn't been breakouts of outright urban warfare yet. BLM and ANTIFA tried like hell to goad conservatives into open combat, but all they got was the opportunity to kill one guy and have a few of their own shot by a teen. It seems every time someone get a complaint about the over reach and/or outright dumbness of government actions...these idiots double down on the stupidity. Look at the US southern border for instance...what sort of abject lunacy drives people to open that border?

Meanwhile as previously reported, the Republican criminal who killed an innocent pedestrian during a distracted driving hit and run (likely drunk) and then used his office yo launch investigations of the Republican governor after she refused to bail him out

South Dakota attorney general impeached after killing pedestrian in 2020 crash

Ravnsborg, who took office in 2019, was returning home from a Republican dinner in September 2020 when he struck and killed Boever, who was walking along a rural highway. A sheriff who responded after Ravnsborg called 911 initially reported it as a collision with an animal. Ravnsborg has said he did not realize he hit a man until he returned the next day and found the body.

The Highway Patrol concluded that Ravnsborg's car crossed completely onto the highway shoulder before hitting Boever, and criminal investigators said later that they didn’t believe some of Ravnsborg’s statements….After Ravnsborg fell out with the governor after the crash, he pushed a pair of ethics complaints against Noem to the state's Government Accountability Board. His office is also investigating whether an organization aligned with the governor broke campaign finance disclosure laws.

Sorry but the culture war is real and if we’ve learned anything from the Republicans’ pal Putin its that unilateral disarmament in the face of a hostile aggressor does not inspire the aggressor to also disarm, it inspires him to attack

Look politics in the USA is no longer the he said/she said of two relatively sane parties with different ideas. The Republican party has become extreme and corrupt over the last 10-20 years depending on how you want to count it.  “Both sides-ism” is exactly what Republicans are exploiting to push increasingly undemocratic and extremist views into the mainstream.

And again unlike Republicans Im not trafficking in baseless allegations and internet conspiracies here, every story I’ve posted is an actual arrest or conviction or law enforcement investigation.

So what’s your thought on all these measures like:

Republican book bans and muzzling teachers and librarians?

Banning schools from teaching “unpatriotic” history, and initiatives to put teachers under live surveillance cameras?

Forcing victims of rape and incest to carry and give birth to their rapists baby?  Laws allowing a woman’s CHOICE to terminate an unwanted pregnancy to be vetoed by her family, her rapist, or her rapists family?

Abusing the Supreme Court Shadow Docket to ram through fast-tracked judgments in the dead of night with no legal explanation explanation in order to repeal pollution laws and legitimmize the assault on abortion rights and countless other matters?

Stealing an election that Republicans legitimately lost and trying to end US democracy?

Attempting strip affordable health coverage  away from tens of millions of Americans just to “pwn” Obama?

The above is a short list.

2  CRT hysteria is another made-up Republican boogeyman.  The Republican party always CLAIMS to believe that decisions should be made locally and school decisions should be made with the involvement of parents of the actual school in question  and not be politicians in t far away capital   And yet this is the exact opposite of that with a book ban list imposed by politicians in the state capital  and teachers under live video surveillance by a culture war gestapo  and being sent to jail when they potentially say something that’s been declared verbotten

3  Well then you should be outraged by what Republicans are doing, effectively banning abortion in all cases including rape or incest …or in the case of Idaho, giving the “relatives” of the embryo, including the rapist and his family members,  the power to veto a woman’s choice to end a pregnancy   This veto power is basically saying that pregnant women are not free citizens entitled to make their own choices as they can be overruled by their “clan” including clans they are forcibly associated with through rape

4  Your comment here is empty nonsense

5  Morel unproven accusations and  IG LIE nonsense  The election was not stolen and you have tried every possible legal  means and due process to present your so-called evidence and make your case and you’ve failed miserably  MORE THAN 60 times. What makes you a threat to democracy is not simply that you believe in a baseless election fraud conspiracy theory with no evidence that nobody believes…Its that you believe in a baseless conspiracy theory with no evidence that nobody believes AND YOU DEMAND TO SEIZE POWER ANYWAY  This whole mentality you guys have of “I don’t care if I have no evidence and nobody believes me I know I’m right thats all that matters” is exactly the mentality that every despot and villain in in history.

6.  Americans have long had the wost healthcare coverage in the developed world.  Obamacare granted or improved health coverage for tens of millions of uninsured and underinsured Americans. It was a fundamental game-changing improvement ver the abysmal system that was previously in place. Ten years later Republicans have not even sketched out any alternative to Obamacare on the back of a napkin and yet they still want to strip away the coverage from tens of millions of Americans with some vague promises that somehow someday Republicans will come up with something that will be somewhat better in some unknown fashion  Meanwhile all they actually accomplished under Trump was exploiting loopholes that stripped or reduced coverage from millions of Americans   Because that’s what working class people really want right, higher  profits for insurance company shareholders and less medical coverage and more healthcare related bankruptcy for themselves?

Trump-backed Nebraska gubernatorial candidate accused of sexual misconduct by 8 women

by Monique Beals 04/14/22 / 03:37 PM EDT

Nebraska gubernatorial candidate Charles Herbster was accused of sexual misconduct by eight women, prompting a bipartisan group of state senators to call for an end to his campaign.

“We commend the brave women who have stepped forward to tell the truth about what they endured at the hands of Charles Herbster, including our friend and colleague, Senator Julie Slama,” the statement, which was signed by Slama and a dozen other state senators, said

In her own statement, Slama, a Republican, confirmed the report about Herbster assaulting her in 2019 when she was 22 years old.
