Meanwhile back at the Philadelphia legislative hearing evidence of fraud and irregularities kept mounting up.

Quote

Giuliani spoke of an “enormously puzzling statistic,” saying the state sent out 1.8 million mail-in ballots and received back 1.4 million, but that 2.5 million were counted as votes for president.

“I don’t know what accounts for that 700,000 difference between the number of ballots you sent out and the number of ballots that ended up in the count,” he said. “That number — 2,589,242 — was on your government website until yesterday, and yesterday, it was removed without explanation. I’m going to be very interested in hearing what the explanation is, and I can’t imagine you could possibly certify without knowing the explanation to that.”

Then in Nevada:

Huge court win lets Trump present ballot evidence, could overturn Nevada result

A Nevada judge has agreed to let the Trump campaign present its evidence that fraud and illegalities plagued the state’s election, enough to reverse Joe Biden's win and set an example for other state challenges.

According to Trump officials, the judge set a Dec. 3 hearing date and is allowing 15 depositions. What’s more, the campaign plans to present its evidence that could result in the rejection of tens of thousands of mail-in ballots in Democratic Clark County, where Biden ballots outnumbered Trump ballots by 91,000 in unofficial results.

“BIG news in Nevada: a Judge has allowed NV Republicans to present findings of widespread voter fraud in a Dec. 3rd hearing. Americans will now hear evidence from those who saw firsthand what happened—a critical step for transparency and remedying illegal ballots. Stay tuned,” White House chief of staff Mark Meadows tweeted.

Oh...Beave found a spelling error. That settles it then. Biden's the president.

Not one spelling error. Literally riddled with errors and incoherent broken sentence fragments. And this is from supposedly the best lawyer you could convince to work for you.   These lawsuits are just a stage prop

You all will just have to wait.  The evidence is so explosive that in my opinion, the lawyers involved are keeping the worst of it for the court case presentations.  That's right, they are not going to try the cases in the media.

Yeah sure. Because Trump is best known for being tight-lipped, keeping his strongest arguments to himself, and maintaining a low media profile

You're pretty sure that was all Sydney Powell, are you? Based on what?

I got the impression some cheap looking website doing crowd funding for Powell did some weird sort of copy and paste job.

This one:

In any case I can't get excited about typos. I hear you though. Apparently you're superior because you can. Is that your point.

Woohhh...that was close. I almost wrote Copy and Past instead of Copy and Paste. Luckily I caught it in time. Didn't want to give you a heart attack.

Trump is not trying this case, his team of lawyers is...

BTW, I keep wondering what’s going on with President Trump, he’s been relatively understated compared to his usual self.

Hey Beave, here's one for a superior speller like yourself. If I understand you correctly spelling has something to do with legal expertise.

All righty then...

In Pennsylvania 22,686 mail-in ballots were returned on the same day they were sent out. 32,951 were returned the day after they were mailed. Another 20,000 were returned before they were mailed out.

Is the mail service in Pennsylvania really that good? Do the Pennsylvania  mail service guys have time machines or something?

This is beyond me but I imagine an expert speller like yourself can easily explain it. Go ahead then. The data is laid out, along with another election piece of evidence math puzzle below.

Yeah you’d make a shittty lawyer also. It would make a great sitcom though “the barely educated lawyer”.   If you’re into that Gomer Pyle/ Barney Fyfe kind of humour.

Anyway claiming that her lawsuit wasn’t written by her, the actual lawyer on the case but instead some anonymous crowd of internet kooks on a “cheap website” only makes it even more hilarious

Trump tells his staff what to say and do and when. Always has.

Spelling errors don't bother me. There's usually an explanation.

What does bother me is the possible Giuliani error where he claimed fewer ballots were sent out than came back but a guy who we know monitors such things claims he's incorrect.

Rudy has to know that he's going to be massively - for lack of better word - fact-checked. If he didn't qua-trouple check that with multiple sources before claiming it at a legislature hearing there's something wrong. It almost makes me want to give up.

He could be right and the other guy wrong, but I don't know.

On the other hand...

One can draw encouragement from the fact the claim of Giuliani being incorrect there comes from the right. Why didn't the left pick it up? They are so desperate for a gotcha they're checking for spelling errors and putting more print into a hair dye leakage than they gave to Hunter Biden's email statement to his sister that his dad takes kick-backs from foreign governments.

If Giuliani did make a mistake there you'd expect the left to be all over it, but as of yet they don't seem to be.

I work with legal documents every day.  What's really of highest importance is that these documents say exactly what you mean to say, nothing more or less.  A typo or single spelling error might not be a problem, but multiple errors, poor grammer and weird, incomplete sentences would be unacceptable.

Spelling errors may not bother you, but it bothers competant people.  Those spelling errors, combined with the other errors, displays a stunning amount of incompetance or stupidity or maybe substance abuse.

Is that a legal document though? Or is it some sort of rushed copy and paste job from a crowd-funder, possibly from a first draft?

The crowd-funder was who posted it.

I get the feeling Trump is both preparing to win and preparing to lose. Did you hear he pardoned Flynn?

Doesn't a President usually wait until just before he's leaving office to do his pardons?

He said yesterday he'd leave if the EC votes for Biden. Not that he'd have a choice.

He is always talking about evidence to come. That's how he governed too. We'll be getting this, you'll soon get that. It's a classic grift. The more people think the election can be overturned, the more money he can raise.

This info was available before the election.

Yeah, I already pointed out that the 2.5 million claim is in question and admitted if Rudy made a mistake on that set of stats it would worry me. He shouldn't be making that sort of mistake at this point if that's what it was.

I don't think any of this is about actual facts and arguments that will convince a judge anymore. It's just repeated attempts to punt the ball further down the field until the EC votes.
