Rebound
On 8/19/2023 at 12:30 PM, WestCanMan said: Judge Chumpkin said that the violent BLM riots couldn't be compared to Jan 6th because the BLM riots were for social justice and the Jan 6th riots were for an evil cause, so I just wanted to remind people just how the Floyd incident went down. It wasn't the "unreasonable police brutality" that the Dems and CNN played up for months while the country was burning. This is the incident that justified untold violence and destruction, according to Chumpkin. Could you please quote the judge’s actual words, so that we know what you’re talking about? Chumpkin: Quote “To compare the actions of people around the country protesting, mostly peacefully, for civil rights, to a violent mob seeking to overthrow the lawfully elected government is a false equivalency and downplays the very real danger that the crowd on January 6 posed to our democracy,” DC District Court Judge Tanya Chutkan said. That worthless twat has literally no credibility as a judge after saying something so blatantly stupid and biased. ZERO protesters from BLM events were arrested. ZERO. The Jan 6th people should be compared to the BLM rioters. They should be compared to people who overran the police station in Seattle. People who assaulted police officers. People who beat up innocent civilians. People who smashed windows and looted stores bare. People who burned down businesses and housing projects to the ground. Not by Chumpkin though. Burning down someone's home or business is just "protesting" according to her. She can't even find it in her evil little heart to say rioters. How many people served even 1 year in jail for all those BLM riots? Almost none. Yet dozens of Jan 6th people sat in jail for two years without even getting a trial. WestCanMan
This was from back on Aug 5 2020. The video above is the same one linked in the 2nd paragraph of the OP. I didn't even notice at the time I posted it, but less than a minute in the narrator mentions that "NBC News" had already viewed the bodycam footage a month earlier. (That's after he lied and said that the cops had their guns out just seconds after encountering Floyd) The guy said that the Daily Mail must have gotten their copy from someone who recorded it from a computer screen, which seems to indicate that NBC had access to that same full version which was released by the Daily Mail, not this pro-riot version which omitted all of the key parts where Floyd was doing things like: rummaging under the passenger seat before the gun came out, saying that he couldn't breathe while the cops weren't even touching him, etc. If that's the case then it wasn't just Ellison and the Dems who were withholding this information from the public, trying to keep the riots going, the MSM knew exactly what they were doing for "a month". Luckily for Americans, non-fake news outlets also had the footage and they showed the whole incident, which completely contradicted NBC's bullshit. It was a great day for the country, because it put an end to the riots, but it was a sady day for people like Michelle Obama and Kamala Harris, who really wanted to keep the riots going. godzilla
On 8/5/2020 at 3:48 PM, WestCanMan said: The full video is available here. If you want to be propagandized watch this video. The propagandists in this video act like the gun shouldn't have been drawn, and they don't show all the clips of G F pretending that he can't breathe. What do we learn from this video: 1) Clearly the incident got off on the wrong foot with George Floyd refusing to show the arresting officer his hands: George kept his right hand hidden from the officer's view, down by the passenger seat. The officer asked George to show his hands multiple times, then drew his gun for his own safety. 2) The officers determined early on that Floyd was "on something". His bloodwork says that he had covid, plus he had Fentanyl in his system. He also had marijuana and methamphetamine in him. 3) He was carrying on saying "I can't breathe" and acting like he was dying from the time he was arrested, even when there was nothing at all restricting his breathing. It's not surprising that officers didn't believe him when he was on the ground. 4) Floyd was resisting arrest the whole time. Takeaways: 1) It's 100% clear that AG Keith Ellison (in true, divisive Dem fashion) only allowed incendiary footage to be released, and he kept somewhat exculpatory video under lock and key. All this while his city and state were experiencing violent riots, arson and looting. The property damage was in the billions of dollars. I don't say it's completely exculpatory because Floyd died when he should't have, but this video clearly illustrates a situation where the police couldn't get Floyd into the car, they had to restrain him on the ground, and they had every reason not believe him when he said he couldn't breathe. 2) If Floyd had just been reasonable and allowed the officers to do their job he would have eventually arrived home safely. The officers were calm and just trying to do their job. They didn't say or do anything racist. 3) With the new video in, the rioting looks even more ridiculous. An investigation into the incident is still necessary, but AG Ellison might have ruined any chance of getting a guilty verdict when intentionally selected the worst video possible to release while hiding the mitigating circumstances from the public. The entire juror pool in the USA has been prejudiced against the police now. the jury heard all of the facts and saw all of the video and determined that the police were culpable. people in distress die at the hands of the police all the time. some have mental disorders, some are on drugs and some have bad behaviour. some are murderers. none of these individuals are to be executed by the police. they are to be dealt with by the legal system. the police are liable if their actions kill someone and it was not in self defence. what i will agree with you about though is that maybe none of the video should have been released to the public in order to ensure public order. Again, complete fabrication on your part. With the exception of the long-term "occupations" in Portland and Seattle, the "riots" were functionally over by early June--and protests went on long after. Exactly nothing happened with the release of the body cam footage, which only further incriminated convicted murderer Derek Chauvin. Meanwhile, thank goodness you're here to spam the video of two random black men with opinions over and over and over again. Bravo!
WestCanMan
9 hours ago, godzilla said: the jury heard all of the facts and saw all of the video and determined that the police were culpable. Wrong: the jury was not allowed to see the Minneapolis PD Training Manual which showed the exact restraint technique that Chauvin was using on Floyd. It wasn't a "n---a-killin' neck crunch", as CNN and the Dems would have you believe, it was a Minneapolis PD restraint technique. Floyd was a giant of a man who was high on drugs and was, for whatever reasons, quite unreasonable, unmanageable and even combative. In the old days the police would have smacked one of his knees with the baton and then he'd do what they told him to do, but in the 2000+'s the police have to wait until the suspect is calm and compliant, which in this case meant just restraining him and subduing him - as per the training manual. The restraint didn't kill him, and it's Floyd's own fault that the police even needed to use a restraint. What killed Floyd was mainly a combination of the Fentanyl he put into his own system and his own heart condition, which the police obviously aren't trained to diagnose on the street. Floyd even mentioned that he was having trouble breathing on 2 different occasions when the police weren't touching his chest or neck area. The police hear millions of reasons why they can't arrest someone, almost none of which are true. If Floyd really was having trouble breathing then he shouldn't have wrestled with the cops. In fact, people should never wrestle with cops, regardless of their race. More unarmed white men are killed by police than unarmed black men. CNN and CTV shouldn't be conditioning people to believe that the cops are always wrong, and that people should be allowed to do a bit o' rasslin' with them. "Awwww poor M Brown, Brionna and Rayshard." Quote people in distress die at the hands of the police all the time. some have mental disorders, some are on drugs and some have bad behaviour. some are murderers. none of these individuals are to be executed by the police. they are to be dealt with by the legal system. What's your point? No one ever said cops should murder people, no one said it was ok. Floyd was having trouble breathing because he has a heart condition and he was high on Fentanyl, he shouldn't have chosen to wrestle with the cops. He should have complied with the reasonable, legal orders of the officers and let his case be dealt with by the legal system. He almost got himself shot right at the beginning of the video, when the police came to his car, asked him to show his hands, and instead he started rooting around under the passenger seat. The cop didn't just randomly and unreasonably have his gun out, as the vile liars on that NBC video implied, he had his gun out because it's America and Floyd reached under his passenger seat while the cop told him several times to show him his hands. Why don't you try that with a cop and see what happens. Next time a cop pulls you over, and he's standing there by your window, just rummage around the passenger seat while he asks you to show him your hands over and over. See what he does. FYI the NBC video you just watched proved that NBC was lying about this Floyd story for a long time. Quote the police are liable if their actions kill someone and it was not in self defence. For sure. But what Chauvin did was follow police protocol: as long as Floyd remains combative, they need to keep him in a proper police restraint. They have no other options. Floyd chose wrestling and non-compliance, and it was one of the three contributors to his death. From Chauvin's POV, all he did is properly execute a restraint technique that he was trained to do by the MPD. Quote what i will agree with you about though is that maybe none of the video should have been released to the public in order to ensure public order. You're talking about different videos. 1) civilians filmed the part of the arrest where Floyd was lying on the ground saying that he couldn't breathe. You and I will never know how much more of the arrest was caught on film, and then selectively edited out by BLM to make the cops look bad, which is what they do for a living 2) Deomnrat AG Keith Ellison is the one who decided not to release the bodycam footage which actually showed that it was Floyd who was escalating the situation right from the very first second. The police calmly walked into the store where the original complaint was made, they calmly and reasonably approached Floyd's vehicle, and then Floyd started rummaging under his seat. It went from ho-hum to "Is this guy reaching for a gun" in one millisecond, then proceeded to escalate from there. 3) Ellison chose to let the "violent racist cop" narrative flourish for months while the city was being destroyed. 4) NBC (and presumably other news networks) chose to let the "violent racist cop" narrative flourish for one month after they saw the video. 5) Floyd was not allowed to present the training manual in hs own defence, which proved that it was a PD technique, not a murder hold. The jury HAD to find Chauvin guilty or there would have been more rioting, more burnt buildings, more assaults, more murders, more violent racism, and more destroyed communities. All of the violence and murders and destruction caused by the riots would have been avoided if Ellison released the bodycam footage. Per video evidence and Chauvin's own admission, he broke protocol by maintaining that severe restraint long after Floyd was subdued, after he stopped resisting, after he stopped moving, after he stopped responding, after he stopped breathing, after he stopped living. Long after. What Chauvin did is directly contradictory to the guidance in that manual you showed, to the in-person training he was given, and to the department's use of force policies. And Chauvin has admitted it. Most people are "smart" enough not to casually kill a man in front of an audience. And most people are smart enough not to defend such actions. You and Chauvin are outliers. Edited March 13 by Hodad 1

You and Chauvin are outliers. I asked USAMan (former cop) on the SD site why Chauvin thought he could get away with killing Floyd ON TAPE, and he didn't know. I think it's obvious that Chauvin believed he had the backing of his Union and that was strong enough to protect him. It is clear evidence of a culture of CORRUPTION in the MPD. At least USA admitted there is a blue wall of silence.

You and Chauvin are outliers. Are you admitting that you lied now, stupid? I said that the Minn PD Training Manual wasn't allowed to be used in his defence, and it wasn't. It shows the restraint that Chauvin used, period. It's not something that Chauvin invented, but "racist Chauvin invented that restraint" was a central theme of his trial. Floyd resisted arrest for a ridiculous amount of time - right from the very first second officers started communicating with him - he even kept resisting while he was in that position for a long time. Angry id10ts at the scene harassed the officers the whole time they were doing that. Floyd's own stupidity, along with the angry, hostile, stupid crowd just MSM news like NBC lied about the incident, and AG Ellison intentionally hid the video so that the MSM could keep propagating their lies unabated. Keep in mind, the whole MSM/Dem narrative was "Chauvin did it because he's a cop and cops are racist", and the video that Ellison had completely destroyed that theory. Bottom line: the Floyd incident in no way matches the NBC/CNN/Demi narrative. They weren't just wrong, now we know for certain they were lying, along with Ellison. Racism had absolutely nothing to do with it, and racism was their central theme. Ellison hid the video to keep that false narrative alive, period. Chauvin CONTINUED to "restrain" Floyd AFTER he was dead and the Paramedics arrived. That tells a rational person ALL they need to know about Chauvin's intentions. He FAILED his duty to provide first aid for an UNCONSCIOUS victim of HIS ASSAULT.

Nobody accused Chauvin of "inventing" a restraint. They accused him of misusing it in a way that contradicts the instructions in the manual you love posting, and contradicts department policy, and contradicts the in-person training he had received. Those exact points are literally discussed at trial testimony linked and in Chauvin's own admission of guilt. I can't teach you to read or force you to read, but it's there. And yes, Chauvin was racist and yes he had used excessive force against Black people in the past. His indifference to the life and health of those he assaulted is a complete dehumanization. There was nothing false about the narrative. It was exactly what it appeared to be on video: a cop slowly killing a man and watching indifferently as he stopped struggling, stopped responding, stopped breathing and stopped living.

So you're changing your story. You went from "It's not a restraint", to "he used that restraint too long". One of the main problems with that restraint is that Chauvin couldn't see his face, and another problem in that situation is that people were yelling at Chauvin and moving towards him menacingly, distracting him from Floyd's situation. This whole story is just about Floyd's own drug usage and misbehaviour, which put him in jeopardy, and the disrespect and misbehaviour of the bystanders. For sure Chauvin kneeled for too long, but this wasn't nearly as bad as what the cops did to Timpa, and they are still cops. Cite where I claimed any such thing. As always, I'll call you out on your lie, and then you'll slink away like a coward instead of correcting your claim. The "whole story" is about a public murder by a bad cop. And that story is written in court and signed. Maybe you can be Chauvin's pen pal while he's in the pen?

The chief of police said it isn't a restraint technique that they use. Those are your own words you god-damned liar. Those aren't the URL's that come up in the address bar when I click on your links, you wrote that into the text field of the hyperlink function with your own dishonest little fingers. You were clearly trying to make the case that the kneeling technique that Chauvin used was not a proper police procedure. MORE IMPORTANT THAN HOW MUCH OF A WORTHLESS LIAR YOU ARE, is the fact that at Chauvin's trial, as proven by your own links, witnesses were allowed to take the stand and tell lies while the truth - documented in a Minneapolis PD training manual no less - was banned from the courtroom. 1 Quote If CNN gave an infinite number of monkeys an infinite number of typewriters, leftists would believe everything they typed. You massively overstuffed lying sack of crap. You deliberately lifted the supporting evidence without the thesis. I specifically said: "There is NO manual anywhere that instructs officers to kneel on a person's neck for 9+ minutes. Quite the opposite." And then I listed out supporting statements that what Chauvin was not using an approved restraint based on how it was used--including Chauvin's own admission. There is no manual or training that supports that technique as a long-term restraint, specifically and explicitly because it can harm it kill. Which, again, is in the goddamn screenshot from the manual you like posting. You are lying your ass off (as always) to make it seem like Chauvin was operating "by the book" when something unforseen happened because Floyd X,YZ. Which is complete bullshit, by all evidence--including yours--and by Chauvin's own admission. He was off book by miles doing something he had been trained to know had a high potential to be lethal.
