Ooooo. If the leftist liberal rag called "godzilla" says it happened, then it has to be true and it did happen.

geesh... i'm a rag. i didn't say it. i was just reporting that the Government Accountability Office said it.

Roger Stone sentenced to over three years in prison

“He was not prosecuted for standing up for the president,” Jackson added in her closing remarks. “He was prosecuted for covering up for the president.”

of course, the WH and supporters will just blame crooked cops, crooked judge, crooked jurors etc...

There was nothing to cover up.  He was prosecuted and convicted for perjury.

that doesn't make sense. one lies about something to cover something up.

What was the underlying crime that was covered up?

Okay, you gotcha me on this one. But do not go and get all high and mighty on me now and bloat about your win.  ;)

no one said there was a crime. there doesn't have to be. if you lie then you obfuscate the truth. that truth may be a crime or it may be some detail that leads to a crime or not. its not for the liar to decide.

all law and order rests on it. when people testify they pledge not to lie at the risk of prosecution. if there were no consequences to lying in legal proceedings and with law enforcement then there would be no law and order. law would be powerless.

Federal judges' association calls emergency meeting after DOJ intervenes in case of Trump ally Roger Stone

now that Trump is attempting full and unfettered rule above the law will he be able to simply remove judges? disband the Federal Judges Association?

Trump announces a blitz of pardons and commutations

first move, of course, is to further denigrate existing institutions into dust while at the same time acting like a "crooked cop" (Trumps own words) hunter. then pardon those who are keeping their mouths shut but are suffering in jail because of it.

Federal judges association calls emergency meeting lol. They need to stfu. Trump has the legal authority to pardon Stone if he wants. It's his call.

If you don't think Obama's commutations/pardons were controversial then you weren't paying attention. Obama let Chelsea Manning, the traitor, out of jail ffs.

If the Cultist Narrative Network/Cultist Broadcasting Corporation gave an infinite number of monkeys an infinite number of typewriters, leftists would believe everything they typed.

Yay, you know a word of the day!!!! Do us all a favour and look up hypocrite next.

Thing is, every President commutes some sentences, pardons some people. There are always some ruffled feathers.

But when your newz source says "Every single person that Obama let out early was a saint who deserved a break in life, and everyone that Trump let out was a hardened criminal who should have stayed locked up forever", that's an example of "hypocrisy". Now ya know.

Here, I'm feeling generous. Look under your chair, there's an old piece of gum there, and here's that info you were just about to search for:

hy·poc·ri·sy
/həˈpäkrəsē/Learn to pronounce
noun
the practice of claiming to have moral standards or beliefs to which one's own behavior does not conform; pretense.
2  all of the words that come out of your pie-hole when you're a liberal.

but no one said that Obama was a saint and that he should have pardoned those he did. but we're talking about a whole new level now... Trump pardoning those who may have detailed information regarding his own criminality.

Do you not know the difference between commuting a sentence vs a pardon?

this is really interesting and i don't see it discussed in the media much, if at all. is this why Manafort isn't already out of jail?

Why President Trump Can’t Pardon Roger Stone

"Madison provides evidence that the intent of the framers was to limit the pardon power from being extended to a president who wanted to use it to pardon co-conspirators. His remarks are a guide to how we should interpret the limit explicitly written into the Constitution when it comes to cases of impeachment: It strips a president of the power to use a pardon to “shelter” anyone “connected in any suspicious manner” way with the president’s alleged high crimes and misdemeanors."

i also suspect that recent pardons are directly associated with Trumps warfare on this very topic. since people will see that he still appears to have pardon powers, the notion is that they will be confused to any objections when his cronies start getting sprung.

No matter the amount of assumptions, the Dems can't force Roger Stone to be a fall guy.

Evidence shows, and Roger said, he washed his hands to the Trump campaign in 2015 yes therefore he was convicted on assumptions and innuendo. Period.

Anyone who supports Mueller's complaints about Trump's or Stone's behavior, is an unfair person, since that unfair person had to approve of the Dems filing false docx in the USA's FISA Court to get Mueller's investigation launched.

Roger is now in prison, in part, because Mueller claims Stone was in bed with WikiLeaks perps who stole docx from USA GOVT and from USA citizens like Hillary and John Podesta. Now we are left to figure out how Dems got away with using this, as a vehicle to somehow deem Trump as a criminal who broke the law.

In the USA, humans can't just claim some citizen has indulged in criminality. There has to be proof.

It's been 3+ years, so far, yet no one has submitted evidence/provided proof of President Trump committing any criminality.  So now, it has come full circle ---it's all about if such people deserve to be charged with slander and defamation.

I find it peculiar too, that back when Obama silenced Eric Holder to prevent Holder from testifying about Fast & Furious, ---oh yes, well that was perfectly fine for Obama to do, in guarding himself against a looming impeachment.

The anti-Trump Movement is really showing the globe how devilish the USA's Dem party is.

Convicted by a jury of peers! Thats when the bullshit meets its match my friend. Stone, Flynn, Manafort etc etc all convicted by a jury of peers.

Trump will do no better when his day comes. He is trying to sell his absolute immunity defense already.

Further clean up...

Trump fires intelligence community watchdog who defied him on whistleblower complaint

Funny how "confidence" is used here by Trump... Where the president usually fires someone due to lack of confidence in their ability to do the defined job, Trump uses it because he doesn't believe someone will turn a blind eye to any of his corrupt acts.

For your information, Trump didn't commit a corrupt act re: Ukraine. Some idiot needed to be fired and he's gone now. Boo-hoo.

If the funds were expected, though, and then didn't come forward that's enough for a quid pro quo.  Here's the money... oops hang on... there's something we'd like you to do for us though... investigate this guy's family... see, he's running against me and...

So, delaying the provision of weapons for a near-fascist/ Nazi-sympathizing government to continue an ethnic cleansing campaign against its rebellious eastern provinces....is breaking the law! I'm finding the stuff that Trump is doing legally to be far worse than what he does when he 'breaks' the law!
