They can charge more, because of lack of competition, not lack of regulation. God you're dumb. Regulation doesn't make things cheaper it makes things more expensive, you want to make the problem worse because you mistakenly believe it will help. The free market is the answer, not the government, all the countries with the best telecom prices are more free market than Canada in that sector, not more heavily regulated. Protectionism isn't lowering prices, it jacks them up and yet you give the protectionism the credit, sad. This is confusing for me, would it be fair to say that you believe in climate change, ? the green party plan is way to aggressive for you So let me ask you do you think the liberal platform is going to make a large enough impact on climate change ? even the liberals have spilled the beans and said they have only costed out 50 % of their carbon tax plan, and to meet Paris accord numbers they would have to increase their carbon tax by 50 %...you still ok with that ? and what about the liberal carbon tax do you like? The environmentalists certainly aren't going to shut them down, Cantifa will get shut down long before you even get close to shutting down the oil industry. Investors will get rid of oil. It's already happening. Environmentalists have played a big role in public awareness and creating uncertainty in investment. Quote What you call predatory far-right is everyone you disagree with, and you are trying to make legitimate protests seem filled with "the predatory far-right" The predatory far right white supremacists try to attach themselves to something more legit. They infiltrated the Ottawa convoy, so the oil workers pulled out because they didn't want to be associated with the filthy racist scum, including Faith Goldy. (Too bad Scheer didn't get the memo. Lol) Bernier used to be legit, but he's thrown himself in with the filthy racist scum now. The recent convoy to Edmonton was legit, oil workers and small business owners concerned for their livelihoods. Understandable, and sad, but I hope that Alberta can reinvent itself in the renewable energy industries that already, in Canada, employ more people than the oil sands. With the election up for grabs and the climate change crisis on everyone's agenda, it's going to be an interesting and pivotal four years!
