I think this is the most suitable section for this topic. I will tell you about the animals which I had until know and how was their ends. Feel free to share about your pets.

My rooster:
My first animal was a baby chicken. It was years ago and I was about 6-7 years old, I really love the nature and village life. I was trying to catch a baby chick running around my granma's house in the village. I just wanted to  touch its soft feather and kiss it, kiss again and again againnn  because they are really so cute with a round body, yellow soft furs and perfect "pi pi pi" voice. I tried a few times to catch one and I had been attacked cruelly by the mother chicken. I was directly focused to the baby chickens and I didnt realized that something come flying through my face, she directly attacked my face. Then I run to my grandma and asked her to catch one for me. She did and gave me to feed it as a pet. I brought it to our home and fed it for months. It was not a "it" anymore and it was a "he". So a rooster. He was really a good boy eating anything, even meat. One day he decided to jump from 9. floor and crushed by a car on the street.

My caterpillar:
My caterpiller was given me by a friend of mine. It had soo soft skin and many feets. Nothing else. It was a boring pet. Was eating leafs all day long and  no any other actions. Then one day it decided to build a capsule for itself which was a right decision for both of us. Transformed into a ugly butterfly and gone.

My lizard:
I saw it first on the garden walls of our mountain house. It was a baby lizard seemed like searching for somethings to eat. Then I gave it some bugs, it was very satisfied with this situation. The next day I saw it on the same wall again and I fed it again. This scenario began to repeat every day and it grown up fast just in a few weeks. Then one day he decided to bite my finger. I was taught that the price of betrayal is death sentence. I had executed it by a stick strike but I really felt soo sorry and  still feel sorry for executing him : (((

My bat:
We didnt had a long story with it. I caught it in front of our mountain house's door while it was trying to take its baby which fall from the nest or whatever ( because bats dont have nest as far as I know), anyway, sorry for putting it in a glass jar, it may have thought I am going to make it a bat pickle but I could not touch it with bare hands not to get sick. It was also trying to bite my fingers. The next night I left it free to go its family.

My fishes:
One day my mother came to home with an aquarium and about 10-15 ornamental fishes. They were beatiful fishes with beautiful colors. I fed them for weeks. They were boring like my caterpillar. Were swimming numbly all day long without any actions. I dont know where I got the idea but one day I learned that boiled water is much more healty than non-boiled one. This was partly a true information but the missing part of the information was going to create a drama soon. No I didnt boiled them alive but I boiled a pot of water, then waited to cool it off and changed the aquarium water with it. They seemed like much more happy to me, they all were swimming much faster and energetic. I couldnt understand that they were swimming fast because they were searching for a tiny piece of oxygen. The missing part was boiled water lost all its oxygen. Then I went to outside to play with kids. When I got back to home all of my fishes were lie on the surface of the water, all were died.

My bunny:
One day I saw baby bunnies incredibly cuteeee in a petshop and I got one of them  It was really really sooo cuteeee with white soft feather and a tiny nose. I fed it for months and it was grown up quite fast. It was not an "it" anymore, it became a "he", so a male bunny which is trying to rape anything moving around, especially my volleyball ball (I am a volleyballer playing in school team) Another thing, he was sooo agressive, trying to bite everything, he bit my hands many times, even one day he bit my head while I was lying on the carpet to play with him. His two sharp teeth was capable to pierce anything. Someone should not have move if they didnt want to be attacked. One day my father said that he is not suitable for a home life anymore and he should go. I was sad but my father was right. We gave him to a friend of dad who was a hotel owner and this person assured me that my bunny will be soo happy in the big garden of the hotel but I could not trust him because he was a hunter at the same time. He said I can come to hotel whenever I want to see my bunny. After a few weeks, I decided to go to hotel to make sure its still alive and not hunted by anyone, when I arrived to the hotel, they said that my bunny is lost since a few days but they said that he have done it few times before and probably will appear soon .......but he didnt appear again : ((( waaaaa

My cat:

One day when I got back home from school, I saw that some kids of our neighborhood were playing with a kitten. Kids were just trying to show some love but they were harming it and poor thing was almost died. Then I got the kitten with me and brought it to our home. I fed it first with goat milk for 3 days and I started to feed it with only meat. It grown up quite fast and its injured foot recovered perfectly while I was about to take it to a veterinary for its foot. After 15 days, it was like a lion cub anymore. I gave it to a cat shelter despite I didnt want to do that. I love animals but I dont think that they are suitable for home life.

Nowadays I feed pigeons coming to our terrace. They are soo cute too. They are quite bold and looking at me like "yoww keep walking and bring us some more nomnoms or we are going to shttt everywhere."  Now its your turn to tell us about your animals.

All my pets (cat's, dogs and a rabbit) wound up breaking my heart over the years. I have at least three more coming up but in the meantime they're lots of fun to have around (cats at the moment).

I suppose the time will eventually come when I break my pet's heart.

I'm sorry about your pets, Altai.  I think they add a lot to a home life and teach you important things.

Up until last year, I had 2 dogs - Hugo (chihuahua) and Whiskey (Chi-weenie) Last fall, I had to put my chihuahua, Hugo, to sleep.  He was very old.  But it was still sad.

Then last April, my ex-husband was going through a rough time and asked if he could have our dog Whiskey for a few months.  (We live about 5 hours apart, are divorced 5 years, but are still freinds and Whiskey had been his dog, too.)

Three weeks later, the fires happened in Fort McMurray.  On the Tuesday of the mass evacuation, my EX called me at noon to assure me that everything was okay with the fires.  At 2:30 pm I got called out of a meeting by an emergency call from him - the neighborhood was on fire.  The evacuation went from "voluntary" to "mandatory" in our neighborhood within 10 mins.  No one had time to get home.  And Whiskey was home.  My EX was crying on the side of the road, he could not get to the house to rescue Whiskey, as the police were already enforcing the evacuation and said they would arrest him if he tried to go back.  I heard of people in our area who were going into houses to rescue pets, and I hoped that Whiskey was rescued.  I searched for him for weeks, had a few close calls that looked like him, but were not him when I got there.  I finally had to accept that he was gone.

I have always had rescue dogs and maybe I will get another one some day, but right now I am still heartbroken over the circumstances of Whiskey's death.

In the picture, Whiskey is the red dog and Hugo is the black one.

Sadly, after losing my hubby in July, my son, lost one of his cats, a twin, to cancer a few weeks ago. This cat name Orion, seem to be human.  If u got on the phone , he would sit there and  try to talk to the phone, or when my hubby walked into the office, he would get up on the desk to talk to him. Yes, I said talk. At times, when he spoke, it would sound like ma and if u talked  back to him he would  keep right on talking, so to speak.  I've had many many pets over the years being raised on a farm and Orion was an original!

My cat is very talkative as well. He is all black and his name is Thomas. He is quite old now and sick most of the time, and he has lost weight.

I remember one time that I was feeling quite sad about something, and sitting in the kitchen by myself. Thomas came in and looked at me for a long time. Then he sat on the chair next to me and stayed there for a long time. He put his paw on my leg. I think he knew I was sad and he was trying to cheer me up. Because of this I will always take care of him.

Sadly, the twin to the first cat that died, on Thursday afternoon, I was watching TV and Lucky (the cat) was lying on the sofa when all of a sudden he got up and I thought he had a hair ball, but no... he either had a stroke of heart attack and died! I was totally shocked and my son , who owns the cats, just lost it! My God, since July, we've lost my hubby and two cats and I can't wait to have 2016 OVER!!!!!

Did somebody delete my 100% true and verifiable story about me killing and eating all of my pets and neighbour's pets?

All of them?  I mean, how do you define "neighbour"?  If it's just the people on either side of you, fine, we all get peckish from time to time, but if you mean the whole neighbourhood, I would have to question that.  Someone would notice.

:(

In humans sometimes when one twin dies, the other dies soon after because they are so lonely and twins feel that they are very closely connected, even more than just regular family members.

Especially if they are Siamese twins, and one dies near the edge of a cliff.

You probably mean conjoined twins. That was insensitive of you, to pick on the people of Siam.

Okay, strangest thread I've ever seen, but then it got justified.  When I saw the title I thought we were talking tails.

Altai, your bat.  Technically that wouldn't qualify as a pet since you had it such a short time, and it was a hostage.  Also, the lizard you murdered probably never considered itself your pet.  The biting was a cry for help.

I don't think I ever got over Rusty, our dog who had seizures.  He died by way of being run over when I was 10.  Our family never had a pet of significance after that.

Another scene from Turkiye. A guy gives his coat to a street dog in cold weather.
