If Wynne steps down and a new Lib leader is chosen, they'll likely win again.

Duh, the liberal party is popular, not the candidate, Wynne is deeply hated by most liberals, the real question is will the provincial liberal party permit anyone to challenger her.  As you know, these parties are private, its not like in the usa where it is open, you cannot just challenge someone, if the party refuses your application, which tends to be the case where a candidate with substantial support.

Ontario Premier Kathleen Wynne's approval rating has plunged to just 12 per cent, according to a poll released Friday by the Angus Reid Institute.

It's a drop of four percentage points for Wynne since the polling firm's previous survey of Ontario voters, conducted in December. It is also Wynne's lowest-ever approval rating in an Angus Reid survey since she became premier.

Asked "Do you approve or disapprove of the performance" of Wynne, 81 per cent of those polled said they disapprove, while seven per cent said they were not sure.

Trump > Wynne

The PC's have no leader and they are pounding wynne. And now the pre election budget coming out has a 8B deficit. So much for the sale of hydro one.

I think their only hope is that Ford becomes PC leader and starts saying and doing outrageous things which drive Ontarions back into the Liberal fold.

ps most regulations are put in place by large businesses to prevent small businesses to compete.

Most big companies like and want more environmental rules and regulations because they can afford to pay for those environmental upgrades that are needed. A big write off for them anyway. A small business owner in most cases cannot afford to upgrade and they may be forced out of business just like what the big business owners would like to see happen. The less competition the better.

The liberal liberals and the conservative liberals always win. There is no real conservative party in Canada. Just politically correct red Tory ones. But then there is the leftist NDP party. But if you want to make Canada worse off than vote for that party.
