Donald Trump was then president of the family real estate firm, and the government amassed overwhelming evidence that the company had a policy of discriminating against blacks, including those serving in the military.

-------

A former building superintendent working for the Trumps explained that he was told to code any application by a black person with the letter C, for colored, apparently so the office would know to reject it. A Trump rental agent said the Trumps wanted to rent only to Jews and executives, and discouraged renting to blacks.

--------

When Donald and Ivana came to the casino, the bosses would order all the black people off the floor. They put us all in the back.

----------

Here we have a man who for more than four decades has been repeatedly associated with racial discrimination or bigoted comments about minorities, some of them made on television for all to see. While any one episode may be ambiguous, what emerges over more than four decades is a narrative arc, a consistent pattern and I dont see what else to call it but racism.

I don't think it's a good thing to nominate a racist as your presidential candidate. Maybe what is worse are all the supporters (political ones, I mean, like his VP candidate) that ignore this to get a taste of power.

If you're optimistic, this is probably another nail in Trump's political coffin... He is even more unelectable. Time will tell.

Trump is electable...just as much as any racist MP in Canada. Some even became prime minister (e.g. John A. Macdonald)

Yes, Trump would take the US back in time. Absolutely agree.

Breitbart articles (the site that says bestiality is legal in Canada) and some Twitter commenters versus a well researched NY Times article that cites legal cases and evidence.

Your defence of Trump's racism is "Clinton is too"... Weak...

Keep trying Smoke!!

Trump is telling people what they want to hear, that is they want their borders protected from illegal immigration, not all immigration. It's not racist to want control of your own borders.

I dislike both Clinton and Trump. Nevertheless, if Trump wins I think it will be funny watch the ensuing spectacle of the media, pundits, pollsters, BLM, leftwing ‘elitists’ and eco terrorists moaning and bleating about the end of the world. I think I’d vote for Trump for that reason alone.

The court has clarified their ruling on legal bestiality.

Trump winning would be worth it so the "Europeanists" and "alt-white nationalists" can stop moaning and bleating about being victimized by the pollsters and pundits.

You're not alone.

Trumps supporters like to see who he can offend ... to entertain them.

Wouldn't it be better, though, if he just did standup comedy instead of campaigning for president?

He's kind of like Charlie Sheehan ... outrageously funny to watch ... but you wouldn't want him running things.

Trump has already won, going farther than even Republicans could imagine. Bleating "racist" just wins him more votes.

Certainly true. He's been enthusiastically endorsed by the KKK and other white supremacist organizations.

The New York Times article is mistaken. Donald Trump is not only a racist, he is also a bigot and a psychopath.

Only people with an IQ of 50, uneducated, could vote for him. Maybe, some ignorant (fake blonde) women are attracted to him because of his inherited wealth. His big buildings are obvious compensation. Freud said so, predicting Trump's megalomania and Trump's obvious similarity to Adolf Hitler/Julius Caesar.

The trouble is people often don't look at the full person. They hear only the things that they like and ignore the rest because they are really want to believe that a politician will change something. A lot of smart people fall into this trap.

Your argument against the facts in the article is to set up a straw man to argue against.

And the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service....rounding up and deporting illegals from Mexico, Canada, and elsewhere just to please Donald Trump.

Straw man? Many people in 2008 believed that Obama's election would pay their rent.

Why is it that Obama is a "good person" but Trump is a "bad person"?

I simply don't view democratic politics that way.

None of the rest of the post has anything to do with the OP.

This really doesn't change anything, young Squidward.

The Republicans already know that they are going to be massacred badly among non-white voters, non-Christian voters, and voters under 30.

Their calculus depends on two things.

One: can we get older white people out to the polls in sufficient numbers?

Two: will non-white and non-Christian and under-30 voters be so apathetic to Hilary Clinton that they don't bother voting on election night?

Trump already destroyed 16 other candidates, including one who is Canadian by birth. Many people here never gave Donald Trump a chance to even get nominated, so expert be their analysis and opinion on politics in a foreign election.

You are right. He has the right man for the job:

"Paul Manafort made a career out of stealthily reinventing the world’s nastiest tyrants as noble defenders of freedom. Getting Donald Trump elected will be a cinch."

Is it a coincidence that they are talking about Russians being behind the DNC hack?

First of all, Trump, IF Prez, can't do everything he wants to do because the Congress and Senate won't let him and there are also laws. If he's racist, what's new in the US but Clinton and her hubby, weren't they accused of selling secrets to China? Bill has been corrupt since his Gov. days with connection to daddy Bush. So which, is the better between the two evils?? The US really should have a third strong party.

I feel badly for Americans that their electoral system has only given them these two candidates, but I guess it's a woman's turn and she is on top of that pyramid, despite being terrible. It's also hard to understand how another candidate couldn't tap into some of what works for Trump without being a racist or a bigot, maybe that's the only reason it works, which is a really sad thought. I still don't believe Trump is electable, but on CNN this morning there is a poll citing that he is in the lead.

Kimmy, who created this Boeing/Ricardo 21st century world of travel/trade? Largely men, mostly European. In the future, because of them, life is and will be different. Other people (women/men/African/Asian...) will change life.

Unlike Michelle Obama, don't gratuitously denigrate the past simply to earn a teacher's gold star.
