waldo Posted May 18, 2016 Report Posted May 18, 2016 Aren't we all... no - the fire and brimstone is on deck! I mean, really, twas no South Korea or Philippines or Taiwan or Ukraine governments dukin' it out! There was a chance for a real dust-up and Mulcair wimped out! Oh wait... obligatory, I kid, I kid! . Derek 2.0 Posted May 18, 2016 Report Posted May 18, 2016 Maybe this is why Sophie needed some extra help. Maybe he's getting hard to handle. As in she needs another nanny for when Justin has a hissey fit at home? Quote
Shady Posted May 18, 2016 Report Posted May 18, 2016 As in she needs another nanny for when Justin has a hissey fit at home? Maybe she needs a body guard, from him! Quote
bush_cheney2004 Posted May 18, 2016 Report Posted May 18, 2016 Now all the boxing machismo during the campaign makes sense...this is how a bully thinks...and acts. Quote Economics trumps Virtue.
Derek 2.0 Posted May 18, 2016 Report Posted May 18, 2016 All that money Sophie needs for help should now go for security to protect opposition MPs from random assaults from the PM. Exactly, the flying elbow to the NDP MP aside, why was the Prime Minister grabbing the Whip of the Official Opposition? Could have sworn Andrew Leslie was packing a folding steel chair into the scrum........ Quote
waldo Posted May 18, 2016 Report Posted May 18, 2016 sorry, time for hockey... please, if the vehement outrage becomes too much for any MLW member, call a friend! 34 posts in record time... bets on the number of posts by the time the waldo returns... probably 4 hours or so. Enjoy! . Quote

Vega Posted May 19, 2016 Report Posted May 19, 2016 The entire "Just Not Ready" campaign seems to be pretty poignant right about now. Quote

Derek 2.0 Posted May 19, 2016 Report Posted May 19, 2016 An poor decision on his part. An excellent politicization by Derek. You feel conversing over the Canadian Prime Minister's assault of two Opposition MPs is a politicization? I suppose we must not speak ill of Dear Leader Clearly this speaks to the Prime Minister's (lack there of) judgement.........grabbing and dragging one MP and elbowing and shoving another MP is not adult behavior, and if done in most workplaces could result in being fired or even charged. Smallc Posted May 19, 2016 Report Posted May 19, 2016 (edited) I felt bringing in unproven allegations against his father was a nice touch. Anyway , Trudeau was wrong, but it's not quite what it's being made out to be. I doubt we'll see him hauled off in irons. Edited May 19, 2016 by Smallc Quote
Vega Posted May 19, 2016 Report Posted May 19, 2016 I don't think there is any doubt that he didn't mean to hit Brosseau, he obviously didn't, but he put himself in a really stupid situation a Prime Minister shouldn't be. Maybe it was bouncer instincts, but it was incredibly stupid and will no doubt make international semi-news. Quote

Doesn't the Prime Minister have bouncer listed on his resume next to drama teacher and snowboard instructor? Quote
BC_chick Posted May 19, 2016 Report Posted May 19, 2016 Yeah, I can only imagine. I think the fact that Trudeau feels he can manhandle MPs is a bit concerning. Not even his father did that. Not even Chretien did that! Quote It's kind of the worst thing that any humans could be doing at this time in human history. Other than that, it's fine." Bill Nye on Alberta Oil Sands
Smallc Posted May 19, 2016 Report Posted May 19, 2016 Doesn't the Prime Minister have bouncer listed on his resume next to drama teacher and snowboard instructor? Yeah, it's right before Prime Minister of Canada. Quote
Derek 2.0 Posted May 19, 2016 Report Posted May 19, 2016 Anyway , Trudeau was wrong, but it's not quite what it's being made out to be. I doubt we'll see him hauled off in irons. I doubt anything official will come of it........and what caused the entire mater has undertones that could see the Opposition hauled off in irons one day.......And most thought Trudeau misspoke when he stated he admired the Chinese dictatorship's ability to "get things done".......I guess that included violence against any political Opposition....
