I doubt that's true because I don't think the Vatican is stupid enough to believe that Islam is a "single denomination" like the Catholic Church is. It benefits them to say that now. I haven't heard them offer to return the riches they raped and pillaged from 'the colonies' though, and I do mean raped as that was one of their weapons of subjugation.
