WWWTT Posted February 15, 2015 Report Posted February 15, 2015 It's worse than that...."right wing media", just like "left wing media", has a bigger and better source for an ideology fix from multiple American outlets. You can see evidence of this right here on this forum. So SNN was actually competing with FNC, not duplicating it. Ya I agree. More body burnings and police shootings, etc, etc was the way to keep the Canadian right wing viewers on the edge of their seat, shaking their fists at the tv yelling, go home you foreigners! We don't want no more brown skins stinking up our "Canadian values". WWWTT Quote Maple Leaf Web is now worth $720.00! Down over $1,500 in less than one year! Total fail of the moderation on this site! That reminds me, never ask Greg to be a business partner! NEVER!

I just scanned my cable providers list of programming services (hundreds and hundreds of domestic and international channels in many languages), and I could not find a single Canadian network...no CBC...no Global...no CTV...not even soft core porn from Quebec. Must be your cable provider. No...some Canadian programs are available on U.S. channels, but not entire Canadian networks. CSPAN will occasionally fill dead air with CBC News or CPAC. CPAC is fun to watch because they often have hearing impaired insets and/or awkward language shifts for translation into the legally required official languages of Canada. What a cluster..... Wilber Posted February 16, 2015 Report Posted February 16, 2015 We have plenty more choices what with digital tv and at much less expense to consumers. How so? How was Sun any more expensive to consumers than any other choice on TV? Quote "Never trust a man who has not a single redeeming vice". WSC
Bob Macadoo Posted February 16, 2015 Report Posted February 16, 2015 How so? How was Sun any more expensive to consumers than any other choice on TV? Maybe now they'll put a better channel in my package that I am forced to pay for........like old reruns of Full House channel. Quote
Michael Hardner Posted February 16, 2015 Report Posted February 16, 2015 The Canadian version - Full House of Commons... remember the episode where they keep trying to squeeze Mike Duffy into the senate and he keeps popping out the window ? Hilarious. Quote Looks like someone has a new patronizing catch phrase ! Michael Hardner

Bryan Posted February 16, 2015 Report Posted February 16, 2015 Strange, he was very pro Israel and yet you cannot stand him? Ezra's problem is one of presentation, not content. He absolutely is one of the very best journalists in the country, but his style works much better in print than it does on video. Quote
Bryan Posted February 16, 2015 Report Posted February 16, 2015 How so? How was Sun any more expensive to consumers than any other choice on TV? You did have to pay extra to get it. And that's if the cable company even carried it at all. I had to buy an obscure "News" bundle that had Russian and Korean news channels. Quote

His issue was never veracity, it was that he wasn't very nice when he pointed out that the others were lying. Quote

On Guard for Thee Posted February 16, 2015 Report Posted February 16, 2015 Or how about the part where the judge writes....even when he found his facts were wrong, he made no corrections. (to his blog comments) Wouldnt that come under journalism 101. Quote

guyser Posted February 17, 2015 Report Posted February 17, 2015 Yes, I see that you're being deliberately dishonest. As usual.....in a tit for tat, would thqt make you being deliberately stupid? I sure hope not, just as I can assert that CTVNC and CBCNN were the comps for SNN , and .....now listen closely here, none of which had mandatory carriage. Now if SNN had any content and announcers/talking heads that were any good, then maybe they would get ratings above Darts, but they didnt and thus bled cash. Quote
