Big Guy Posted September 9, 2014 Report Posted September 9, 2014 (edited) Mike Tyson is in town endorsing RoFo. That clinches it for Rob. Gentle Mike says he understands the problems that Ford is having and is blaming the sparring press for Fords problems, jabbing at him at vulnerable times. Gentle Mike says the folks in the USA back our current mayor. With America in Fords corner then he has it locked up., Edited September 9, 2014 by Big Guy Quote Note - For those expecting a response from Big Guy: I generally do not read or respond to posts longer then 300 words nor to parsed comments.

Big Guy Posted September 10, 2014 Report Posted September 10, 2014 There are only three days left for any candidates to withdraw. If RoFo is still in the running, Olivia has a golden opportunity. She should sit down with Tory and negotiate what he is ready to do to satisfy what Olivia's supporters would like to see done. Then Olivia could withdraw, with honor, sacrificing her personal political career to save Toronto from RoFo and his thugs and still have an influence in then future of Toronto. That would be good politics. Quote Note - For those expecting a response from Big Guy: I generally do not read or respond to posts longer then 300 words nor to parsed comments.

Big Guy Posted September 10, 2014 Report Posted September 10, 2014 You're that worried about RoFo? LOL! Guess that Mike Tyson endorsement has made people nervous. New poll out this morning still has Chow in 3rd. My point was that good politics sometimes outstrips personal ambition. There is very little chance (short of a major event) that Olivia will be elected. This is the time to get promises for things that she would like to see done - she has leverage. After the election she will have none. Quote Note - For those expecting a response from Big Guy: I generally do not read or respond to posts longer then 300 words nor to parsed comments.

Michael Hardner Posted September 10, 2014 Report Posted September 10, 2014 Tory will also get Soknacki's support, for the most part, meaning that he will have a large lead. Quote Click to learn why Climate Change is caused by HUMANS Michael Hardner
Black Dog Posted September 10, 2014 Author Report Posted September 10, 2014 Tory will also get Soknacki's support, for the most part, meaning that he will have a large lead. Sok was drawing from Chow's base, not Tory's. Quote
Michael Hardner Posted September 10, 2014 Report Posted September 10, 2014 Sok was drawing from Chow's base, not Tory's. I'm basing this on a Canadaland podcast wherein he was described as right-of-centre. Quote Click to learn why Climate Change is caused by HUMANS Michael Hardner
Black Dog Posted September 10, 2014 Author Report Posted September 10, 2014 I'm basing this on a Canadaland podcast wherein he was described as right-of-centre. He's conservative. But my observation of his campaign indicates support was coming from the left. Quote
PIK Posted September 10, 2014 Report Posted September 10, 2014 Olivia's arrogance has caught up with her, without jack she is nothing. And now sher has to deal with the fact more people in TO want ford over her. Quote Toronto, like a roach motel in the middle of a pretty living room.
Black Dog Posted September 10, 2014 Author Report Posted September 10, 2014 Olivia's arrogance has caught up with her, without jack she is nothing. And now sher has to deal with the fact more people in TO want ford over her. What about the fact that twice as many people want Tory than Ford? Quote
Boges Posted September 10, 2014 Report Posted September 10, 2014 What about the fact that twice as many people want Tory than Ford? All the more jarring considering she has the Left all to herself. Are we really to believe SOB Liberals would rather sit at home, than have Chow elected? Or is Tory that big tent that he appeals to everyone in the city. Quote
