GostHacked Posted November 1, 2012 Report Posted November 1, 2012 This is terrible that we have such blatant radical Islamic thinking here in Canada, that we are importing this mindset from parts of the world. The media is not helping with it's constant criticism of the US and Israel. We need to support these countries unequivocally and everything they do. No, no we do not need to support anyone unequivocally. Quote
WWWTT Posted November 1, 2012 Report Posted November 1, 2012 This attitude must not be allowed to fester and grow. Just as we fought againnst racism we must also fight against Islamic terrorism and it's radical supporters. I followed the link you provided. And the person who made this comment would not elaborate any further. So as it stands all they had said was "Sandy is a devine slap on the US" (or something like that) And somehow you think this comment is some kind of rallying call to fight Islamic terrorist??? WWWTT Quote Maple Leaf Web is now worth $720.00! Down over $1,500 in less than one year! Total fail of the moderation on this site! That reminds me, never ask Greg to be a business partner! NEVER!

Shady Posted November 2, 2012 Report Posted November 2, 2012 (edited) It's stupid when Pat Robertson says it, it's stupid when some dumb-ass Muslim says it, it's stupid when Michele Bachmann says it, and it's stupid when any other nut-job says it. I'm all in favor of letting these chumps keep talking so that the rest of us will have something to laugh about. The best way for people to see what a bunch of idiots they are is to let them be themselves and say what's on their mind. -k Yes, but you're obsessed with it when Christians say it. When Muslims say it, you don't start threads about it, and you spout off the old and tired "it's dumb when anyone does it." Except of course if that person is Christian. Then it's just all about them and Christianity. Pathetic. Edited November 2, 2012 by Shady Quote

Sleipnir Posted November 2, 2012 Report Posted November 2, 2012 I guess Hurricane Sandy would be considered a 'divine slap to the U.S' since insurance companies considered these kind of events an 'act of god' and god is divine... Mr.Canada Posted November 2, 2012 Author Report Posted November 2, 2012 It's clear this man harbours some extreme beliefs. Was he taught these beliefs from his parents? Are his parents Canadian? Are they loyal to Canada? Or are they loyal to some far away land instead? If his parents are in fact Canadian are they part time Canadians and live elsewhere the whole year? Sleipnir Posted November 2, 2012 Report Posted November 2, 2012 It's clear this man harbours some extreme beliefs. WIP Posted November 2, 2012 Report Posted November 2, 2012 Some idiotic fundamentalist Christians here have been under the impression that they can point a finger at this Muslim cleric without having three fingers pointing back at themselves (or their own faith leaders in this case). Here's one: Anti-LGBT Minister: Sandy is God’s Judgment on Gays Here's another: Religious Right Rabbi Blames Hurricane Sandy on Gays, Marriage Equality That's from a quick term search, feel free to add more to the list. I'm sure that old Pat is just waiting to burst out with his latest theory linking hurricanes, homosexuals and black presidents! Maybe one of his sons put duct tape over his mouth....or maybe he got scared by one of the early hurricane tracks that could sent it right into Virginia Beach...who knows! But, it's the height of hypocrisy for fundamentalist Christians and Jews to be pointing fingers at a Muslim cleric who links a natural disaster in America with American foreign policy. Mighty AC Posted November 6, 2012 Report Posted November 6, 2012 According to fundamentalist Christians and the right wing, black presidents and gays have an amazing influence over the weather. It sounds crazy but maybe they're right. I can't even recall a hurricane hitting San Francisco, yet redneck, white, conservative Christians are routinely pounded with tornadoes. I for one welcome our new weather controlling black president and homosexual overlords. Mighty AC Posted November 6, 2012 Report Posted November 6, 2012 HEY POT, kettle calling! Why draw attention to the crazy rantings of a Muslim when your club is also full of ranting wing nuts? It would be like Canadians denouncing other nations for their production of asbestos, questionable election practices or their poor environmental record. Bonam Posted November 6, 2012 Report Posted November 6, 2012 Yeah, maybe we can stop using the diatribes of crazy people as evidence of anything moving forward ? On the contrary, diatribes of crazy people are perfectly good evidence of said people being crazy. And when said crazy people are in positions of religious leadership (in any religion), it says something about their followers as well. Quote

Well, I don't think it means anything to the larger question of how we in Canada, or America should govern ourselves. There are crazy people in the world, and crazy people with crazy followers inside our own countries. So what ? Quote Click to learn why Climate Change is caused by HUMANS Michael Hardner

It would be like Canadians denouncing other nations for their production of asbestos, questionable election practices or their poor environmental record. I assume this is directed at me. 1.
