Guest Derek L Posted November 6, 2011 Report Posted November 6, 2011 You are the one getting inordinately bent out of shape about the protest, and now rattling your gun collection. One can't ignore such warning signs. There are crazies out there and you could well be one. I can assure you that any threats of violence against protesters will receive full attention of police. What did I say threatening? I haven’t once uttered any sort of threat, and joked with BC that I’m more “afraid” of mutated worms……..You’re the one suggesting a “revolution” will occur if the police enforce our laws! Quote
Guest Derek L Posted November 6, 2011 Report Posted November 6, 2011 And might I add, I’m not the one defaming private clubs with baseless accusations regarding child abuse and underage sex crimes! Quote
jacee Posted November 6, 2011 Author Report Posted November 6, 2011 (edited) And I'll add, as I've stated Numerous times, I hope they just leave………I don’t want to see a repeat of The Stanley Cup riots or G20 protests, where police officers were injured, personal property was destroyed and I even don’t want see the morons causing it to get their skulls cracked………..But, if they refuse to comply with the law, and continue to put the public at risk, Catastrophize much? I won’t have zero sympathy for them if force is required to remove them……..Do you think Canadians that hear their rhetoric about “overthrowing” the government/upper income earners, Nobody said "overthrowing" government except you. Since when are "government" and "upper income earners" interchangeable? Freudian slip there? Btw, it isn't about "upper income earners". It's about holders of wealth: Not the same thing. You haven't been paying attention. and has you suggest, those that support them (Myself?) don’t feel threatened? It’s pretty lousy feeling for a parents to not allow their teenagers to go “hang-out” along the Granville Mall on sunny Saturday with their friends for fear of them getting caught in another Stanley Cup like riot!!!!! Oh boo hoo! Just make sure they don't get drunk and stupid and start throwing bottles and trashing and looting stores, then. But this has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with the OCCUPY protest. I am not referring to guns and violence, nor do I believe in that sort of "revolution" (your word, not mine).Good grief! Where do you get this crazy crap! You are a scary dude! Let me be clear: if police harm any protesters, the 'silent' majority will speak very clearly. And if politicians and police don't like what we have to say to them, they can look for new jobs. WE PAY THEIR SALARIES. THEY WORK FOR US!!!! That's not a "revolution". It's just the way it is .... supposed to be. From the other thread: http://www.mapleleafweb.com/forums//index.php?showtopic=19640&st=555 Posted Today, 10:43 AMA few young protesters really have you in knots. What's your problem? Why is it such an issue? If they're so unimportant, ignore them! Either way ... get an f'ng grip! Force will lead to a major uprising like this country has never seen. It will solve nothing and explode everything. Can't you see that? Oppression of free speech WILL lead to the revolution you so fear. Patience is the only solution, and not your forte I see, but your 'solutions' are designed to ignite revolution. You're moving into looneytoon territory. Btw, your mayor will do nothing but make a bit of noise until after the election. This post has been edited by jacee: Today, 10:48 AM They not your words? Don’t you have anything also to add regarding your accusation against the Vancouver Club and the Vancouver Police Department? Quote

Guest Derek L Posted November 6, 2011 Report Posted November 6, 2011 Meanwhile, back in Chicago: http://blog.alexanderhiggins.com/2011/10/29/chicago-traders-taunt-occupy-chicago-protesters-wall-street-leaflets-78961/ Someone in the Chicago Board of Trade dropped leaflets on top of “Occupy Chicago” protesters Wednesday afternoon as they rallied alongside unions in the city’s financial district.“We are Wall Street,” the leaflet said. “It is our job to make money.” “Go ahead and continue to take us down, but you’re only going to hurt yourselves,” it continued. “What’s going to happen when we can’t find jobs on the Street anymore? Guess what: We’re going to take yours.” “Do you really think we are incapable of teaching 3rd graders and doing landscaping?” the leaflet asked. “We aren’t dinosaurs. We are smarter and more vicious than that, and we are going to survive.” Quote
eyeball Posted November 6, 2011 Report Posted November 6, 2011 Holy Clint Eastwood it's like the wild west all over again. We have lawlessness, drug tents, skid row, mud all over the place. All we're missing is horses and gun fights. The same sort of social environment that a lot of the wealth of our nation was built in. Go figure. eyeball Posted November 6, 2011 Report Posted November 6, 2011 I can assure you that any threats of violence against protesters will receive full attention of police. I'd say they're concerned now but as the global economic situation worsens that will change. That is one of the concerns of police, of course, that the protesters are unprotected from any looneytoons who think their 'god' is telling them the protesters are evil and deserve death. Once things get bad enough these loons will be the police. Quote I said now watch what you say they'll be calling you a radical, a liberal, oh fanatical criminal
