I think you're absolutely right about Waldo and Wyly being the same person. It's pretty sad that Waldo needs an imaginary poster to pseudo-agree with him.

I think it's pretty sad that the Canadian and American literacy educations don't allow people to recognize thoroughly different styles of writing, including not just (admittedly) easily-faked differences in word usage, but vastly disparate methods of syntax and sentence structure.

They're not the same person; or he is profoundly talented, an irritant which you no doubt would be loathe to admit.

waldo is a much more articulate than I am...knows a hell of of a lot more about CC issue than I do(and anyone else on the forum)...he loves to do quotes within quotes, within quotes, within quotes which I only recently figured out how to do...I rarely capitalize anything and he always ends he sentences full stop, I never do(always an ellipsis)...and he has an amazing tolerance for debating banjo pickin' idjots, i have them all on ignore they're not worth my time...

and to do that consistently for 18 months(my join date) without slipping up goes waaay past profoundly talented...

Aside from the fact that I don't think you should sell yourself short--you're as smart as Waldo, which is no insult to either of you--I agree that maintaining the ruse for so long would be a real feat.

The only obvious faker I've seen here--the one who was unquestionably a faker--was the guy who pretended to be a hardcore Muslim fanatic, preaching jihad, and boasting about "my three strong sons," and so on. He was a right-wing troll hoping to "prove" how rotten Muslims really are.

And some people here believed the lie, of course.

Probably the same ones confused about separate posters with entirely different styles.

That is, all their opinions--on every subject, without exception--are thoroughly motivated by their deeply-rooted politicization. Too bad.

already covered... China is building new more efficient coal power plants... and actively engaged in replacing old, less efficient coal power plants.
