Secu-Socialist war on Jesus Christ

Mr.Canada

Recommended Posts

I prefer to live in reality.

When Canada was formed Arabs were British subjects. The British were Christians therefore I am too. Christianity is Canadas founding religion and God i=s in our National anthem and our Constitution. They still recite the Lord's Prayer in government to this day. To try to rip every shred of Christianity away is to go against what Canada was intended to be.

What exactly, pray tell, was Canada intended to be?

CLANG!!!

Mr. Canada always posts facts. Generally of the erroneous variety.

Well, he does know everything. So what if most of it is wrong?

Catholics don't have middle school.

Yes they do. I even know someone that went to one. You can look it up, Frank Ryan Catholic School in Ottawa. It's on the Ottawa Catholic Board's website.

And where do you get that idea? Is the Church making policy?

There is no church making any policy, but we do not have separation of church and state entrenched in law.

Yes we do. Freedom of religion also requires freedom from religion. That clause in the charter guarantees the separation.

The freedom to choose your religion is not the same as entrenching separation of church from state. The Ontario government is still funding Catholic schools. While this may not be a major threat to our freedom, it is an example of the church having influence over the state.

Yes actually, that's the way not only our supreme court, but others interpret it. Freedom of religion is freedom from religion also. That means that religion has no place in government.

The Ontario government is still funding Catholic schools.

Yes, and that is also in the constitution. The Supreme Court (if I remember correctly) has said that the situation is not ideal, but the fact that it was part of what allowed this country to be formed means that it can be exempted as a special arrangement.

This country has church and state pretty much as separate as they can be.

Most Christians are nominal in every respect - the real deal are actually a daring bunch - who don't give a crap for church and state. If there is a war on "Jesus Christ" it is probably a war on the evil that is relgion - no one would dare wage war on the real Christ - living or dead - cos' he would kick your ass.

Absolutely false. This is a common ploy by the atheist sect to try to put guilt into our pure Christian belief system. I don't get this one thing though. Atheists put down all belief systems yet Atheism in and of itself is a belief system as well....hypocrites.

Actually, no, its not.

You see, the word 'belief' implies that you accept something without proof. And that's what christianity, islam, judaism, and a whole host of religions are... the belief, without proof, that there is some god out there.

Now, it is true that you can't prove a negative. However, the total lack of physical evidence for ANY god is a good indication (if not absolute proof) that there IS no god.

Athiests are just following the evidence and gaining an understading of the universe based on what the facts tell them.

Secularism is disease which seeks to destroy religious faith without any knowledge of what faith is or why it is important to people.

Actually, no... Most athiest/secular people probably have quite a good knowledge of what 'faith' is and why its important... the fact that we UNDERSTAND religious faith doesn't necessarily mean we have to HAVE religious faith, any more than an oncologist has to have cancer in order to treat patients.

It is callous beyond words to attack people in their sustaining faith, as cruel in its way as an assault on something so dear to them as their family.

First of all, keep in mind that what you consider an 'assault' on faith is, by and large, a protection mechanism. In many cases, athiests find it necessary to stand up to religious types when those types attempt to impose their views on others (such as denying homosexuals the right to marry based on the bible, or trying to bring in creationism in the classroom.) In those cases, the religous types are not the innoncent victims; they are the agressors.

Secondly, you are assuming that blind incorrect faith is worth saving.

Put it this way, if you found out your grandmother was giving her life savings over to a con-man who was making false promises (e.g. "I'll double your money by investing in Bre-X"), would it not be a good idea to try to convince your grandmother of the error of her ways, evenif, at the time, her "belief" in the con-man was something that she considered "so dear" and important to her at the time?

The Bible is meant to be read and interpreted based on the whole not cherry picking scripture. You must read all passages on a subject to get the over all outlook. The Bible isn't a rulebook as much as a guide and you must read the entire guide in order to understand it.

Really? And what about the contradictions?

In Leviticus 25, it says we should fear god, but in 2 Timothy it suggests that we shouldn't fear god.

In John 3, it suggests god loved the whole world, but in other parts of the bible (e.g. Leviticus) it points out that there are people that god hated.

So, which parts do you believe?

And if you have to end up 'interpreting' the bible in order to understand it, then how do you actually know that you're actually living up to the word of god? All of your interpretations may have been incorrect.

In the 1920's -1940's Josef Stalin of the USSR was burning churches and killing millions of Christians who refused to give up their beliefs. Over 20 million Christians were murdered by Stalin's death squads. Hundred's of Churches were burned down. Picture and background info.

All in order to make the USSR an Atheistic State. They succeeded too. How much longer will it be before people start burning down Churches in Canada? The secularists are pushing everyday to ban religion outright.

We must resist their push fellow Christians. We give an inch today and tomorrow they'll be back for another foot. This is how they operate. The secularists never stop. We give in on one thing they'll want something more and more and more and more. Until there is nothing left.

This is why the Catholic Church will never give into them because they know it will never end and they'll keep pushing for more and more and more until our religion is diluted to the point of irrelevance. Which is their goal of coarse.

Most of these people pushing for the change of religion aren't even members of any given religion but are atheists/secularists/socialists and live to make us a one party nation devoid of any religion what so ever. Think of Stalinist USSR, think of Maoist China, think about if this is what you want to become of Canada. Religion and speaking the name Jesus Christ banned, Churches burnt down and clergy hauled off to jail.

It's already happening little by little. We must recognize it and resist their siren song as their plan can only lead to our doom.

God Bless.

Yes, kimmy, we all know that the Mr. Canada types are good for a laugh.

What I love about these types of arguments is the contradiction between their alarmism and their determination that good will triumph over evil. Which is it ?

If the good will never be defeated, how did the USSR win ? None of it makes sense, and there's always a secret conspiracy and a crisis right around the corner.

As you said, you can't prove a negative. To my observation, more and more intelligent people are rejecting religion and Atheism for agnosticism, which correctly recognizes the futility of these arguments and leaves one with an open mind.

Well there has been an increase of the people who claim to be atheist or agnostic but the two are lumped together so we can't be sure which has the most people.

TrueMetis,

2008 Religion Survey

I was curious about your post, so I Googled the American Religious Identification survey from 2008. This seems to be well executed, and says that agnostics (hard and soft) are about 5x the percentage of atheists.

Alright cool never saw this one before all the Stats I've seen in the past lump the non-religous together with the combined total being about 16% like this study. Although the thing about atheists and agnostics if given real proof of a god would probably accept it. I know I would at least (I'm an atheist) though I still wouldn't worship it.

One nitpick is it mentioned believing in evolution no one believes in evolution you accept it based on facts but agina nitpick.

Exactly my point. Christianity is under attack from all sides every day. Because I embrace religion doesn't make me any less intelligent than the next person. No one can prove that God exists physically but you cannot prove that He doesn't exist either. It's a question of faith, either you have faith that God exists or you don't. There is a third option which is the fence sitter position of agnosticism saying you won't say for sure God exists or not.

No one person will ever change peoples minds as to whether God exists for them or not, it's a really pointless discussion.

Christianity and Jesus Christ are under attack by Secular Socialist society, that is a fact and a worthwhile discussion.

We aren't even allowed to say Merry Christmas anymore at Christmas time in public and the left will have us believe that Christianity isn't under attack. Yeah right.

I'm surprised that the left hasn't tried to ban Christmas outright yet, perhaps this is coming soon. Every year the left wing tries to do something to ruin Christmas time. It's supposed to be a happy time of year but they are always wanting to make it miserable for everyone, I am convinced that those left wingers that don't support Christmas must lead really sad lives to not even be able to allow a little bit of joy into their lives...sad.

To not be able to push aside partisan politics for even one day. These left wingers have an agenda 365 days a year which I find really sad. I pray for these people every year that even one of them will be able to find happiness and joy in their lives. Life is too short to hate everything and be pissed off all the time, I pray that these people will learn that over time.

What are you talking about ? Of course you're allowed to say that in public. If you post nonsensical and untrue things, you might be labelled as someone who does so.

Christianity by it's original design was corporate socialism that was anti-government. "Sell your property and put the money in a common purse. where all could come and take as needed"....There might be a war on so-called Christians that are pro state..because of Paulist instruction...which stated that God put the state in power...Paul was a liar . God does not put evil in power - men do.

I thought Christians weren't allowed to lie, and yet there are two lies right here.

To be clear, no one is try to kill Christianity, and you're still allowed to say Merry Christmas.

The problem with belief is that by definition it's accepting something without evidence most people would prefer to accept something with physical evidence. If I say I believe in unicorns I have just as much credibility as your god. Go ahead prove Unicorns don't exsist. This is exactly why in science things aren't accepted until they have proof. Anyone can make any ridiculus claim and it can't be proven wrong so to most people this would mean it doesn't exsist, to religous people it means it must exsist. It hasn't been disproved so it must be true.

Plenty of people have changed their minds over whether God exsists or not, I've had a hand in it a couple of times. Of course there are also the people who come to this conclusion on their own the way most people do this is they read the Bible unfiltered. Kind of hard to believe after reading all the contradictions and horrible things your God endorses.

I have a hard time understanding why it matters if someone is religious or not to some people. It's like they take great offense to people who are Christian. Often Christians don't need to do anything other than admit their Church affiliation to have their beliefs, Church or what have you attacked for n real reason at all.

If you don't believe that's fine, you're entitled just don't tell me I must believe in nothing, as many in secular society do, in order to be accepted.

Puzzling.

People attack religous people (Not just christians) because they are constantly trying to convert people and tend to act like because they're religous they are somehow better than others.

You believe what ever the hell you want but keep that shit the fuck away from me.

This article linked at the bottom clearly defines all the Christians that have been killed by secular run countries. Funny how they all have Communist, Totalitarian dictatorships.

Secularism was one of the basic tenants of these people. They will often try to hide it behind a mask of being politically correct and inclusive. These socialists are inclusive of anyone who isn't Christian. Don't believe me? Next time you see talk to them mention the name of Jesus Christ. It makes them go ballistic, nothing infuriates them more than the name of our savior.

After they've calmed down from there tirade speak about Islam, Judaism or Buddhism and watch their eyes light up with delight as they spew all the "facts" of these religions. If you attempt to point out facts of your own, especially about Islam, you'll be met with apologists who will be falling over themselves to apologize for Islamic terror and try to make you accept it as part of a secular society.

Secular/Totalitarian/Communist regimes have murdered a total off 100 million Christians. Have we ever heard about this in any text books? Of coarse not. The powers that be cannot be seen to be teaching the masses about anything that will bring sympathy to Christian based society. They must keep the pressure on the Christians. Never letting up.

They will often call Christians extremists and racists, homophobic etc and in the same breath hug the jihadist for having the same principals thus proving that the war is only against Christianity. These Jihadists are killing people daily, cutting off limbs, executing homosexuals, stoning innocent people to death yet there is no public outcry against Islam. This sentiment is reserved for those that revere the name of Jesus Christ.

Here is an article outlining the real facts that the socialists in Canada don't want you to know. It's a bit long but well worth the time investment. Isn't knowing the real truth and not the Secular/Communist truth worth a mere 5 mins of your time?

communism and Christianity are rival religions... that are (astonishingly) based on many of the same social superstitions.

Christianity is based on fact, Jesus Christ was real and walked the Earth. Pontius Pilate was a real life ruler of Rome and put Jesus to death. This isn't myth but fact. It happened 2,000 years ago so people want to try to to say it never happened because it didn't happen on the interwebz.

Communism is based on ideology. Big difference.

Just the same you've proven my point yet again. It's ok to belong to any religion as long as it's not Christianity and one must never speak the name Jesus Christ or face persecution. This is laid out in the Bible and is proven over and over again every day.
