Guest serfd Posted April 5, 2008 Report Posted April 5, 2008 Hi, to the community. I think that it was good of Rush Limbaugh to express his views on a Black President and to prove that he is not a racist has promoted Colin Powell and Condoleezza Rice as strong candidates for presidential status. I think that it was fair on the part of Rush to say about is comments on a black president. I think that we should thank him….shouldn’t we? Quote
Guest desuga Posted April 7, 2008 Report Posted April 7, 2008 I wouldn’t be arguing with Rush about the black president issue and neither with Mr. Clinton on this one. I don’t think that we should thank Rush for anything but as you said about this news I believe you can also express your views in news related discussions that will get comments on your views. Quote

Why because he has opinions? Why would I thank him for having opinions? More to the point he is an obese racist-sexist-anti-gay, anti-progressive, hate inciting, ignoramus. Thank him? He should thank the US for his ability to become a multi-millionaire by being able to make a living farting on the radio. This is someone who raved and ranted against drug addicts while himself a drug addict. Thanks? Someone tell the fat idiot to shut up. Quote
bush_cheney2004 Posted April 7, 2008 Report Posted April 7, 2008 Thanks? Someone tell the fat idiot to shut up. They tried, but instead he told Air America to shut-up, and laughs all the way to the bank. Quote Economics trumps Virtue.

Topaz Posted April 9, 2008 Report Posted April 9, 2008 How long do you think it will take America to get over a person's skin color and put the attention to one mind, their common sense their character. The US picked in a white president, GW and look at the mess the country is in. He has no sense of spending other people money and doesn't care what anyone else thinks. How could you do worse? Quote
guyser Posted April 9, 2008 Report Posted April 9, 2008 . How could you do worse? Kerry? Perot? Dean?..... Quote

Oh...about as long as it will take in Canada. The US picked in a white president, GW and look at the mess the country is in. He has no sense of spending other people money and doesn't care what anyone else thinks. How could you do worse? ...by electing a president based just on "skin color". Quote Economics trumps Virtue.
Regulus de Leo Posted April 9, 2008 Report Posted April 9, 2008 Conservatives aren't racists. Liberals want to keep minorities down, resentful and dependant on handouts which is truly racist behaviour. Quote Imagine... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JwAtNILh6uY

gc1765 Posted April 9, 2008 Report Posted April 9, 2008 What exactly did he say? Quote Almost three thousand people died needlessly and tragically at the World Trade Center on September 11; ten thousand Africans die needlessly and tragically every single day-and have died every single day since September 11-of AIDS, TB, and malaria. We need to keep September 11 in perspective, especially because the ten thousand daily deaths are preventable. - Jeffrey Sachs (from his book "The End of Poverty")

You can always tell the spammy posts by their ESL quality, but it was kind of interesting looking at the different reactions to the same post. My favourite was how the guys at libertynewsforum were focused on determining whether the poster was an evil liberal. sharkman Posted May 9, 2008 Report Posted May 9, 2008 Liberals hate him, that's something he's got going for himself right off the bat. All of the name calling just shows there is no substance to their position. On the other hand, I'm not sure what to make of his recent attempts to help Hilary. He called it Operation Chaos, and encouraged his listeners to register as dems to vote for Hilary in various primaries, which is not illegal but seems unproductive to me. But I can understand his anybody but Obama attitude, the guy is a hard left winger with little experience, only lofty socialistic ideas that would crash an economy. Quote
bush_cheney2004 Posted May 9, 2008 Report Posted May 9, 2008 (edited) Operation Chaos has been a success, if only to highlight the flawed DNC nomination process, open vs. closed primaries, and the role of so called super-delegates. Both Obama and Clinton have had to expend more campaign funds the longer their contest drags on, helping to offset McCains funding disadvantage. Rush Limbaugh is just a radio talent and entertainer with the highest Arbitron ratings in major American media markets. He knows how to stay on top and have a lot of fun doing it. bush_cheney2004 Posted May 9, 2008 Report Posted May 9, 2008 Just another reason to be thankful that I'm no longer a Republican. Al Franken and Air America tried to compete, but came up way short with bankruptcy instead. For some reason, liberals and progressives cannot make any money with their message. I wonder why that is?
