Consider your magazine/paper rack at the grocery or corner store. What do you see more? Newspapers, or celebrity gossip stuff like, the Inquirerer and the Star and other 'celebrity people' magazines. People are easily distracted these days. ADHD is part of the society. Hey what is going on in Iraq? Screw that, Brittney is in the news again!!! OMG. The population is obsessed with it, because basicly we are shown that we are obsessed with it. Also, among people you know, what do you talk about most? Do you talk politics and/or worlds affairs? Or do you talk about the latest episode of whatever show is popular. Not to mention the MSM and companies/corporations treats you all as consumers and not customers. And since people are easily distracted, it can allow a corrupt entity like a government to do really bad things without you being aware of it. Consider how easy it was to promote the WMD idea about Iraq. This proves how the population can be influenced with slick words and a promise for something better, when the opposite is actually the truth.

It is in their best interest to ID everything so they can trace it. You always want to know where and what your inventory is.

Simple fact is that Maple Leaf Foods is owning up to it and taking things into their own hands. It was not government inspectors that found the problem. It was MLF themselves. This is a credit to them. Sue your government for not being more diligent in this process. Trust me, MLF is having the worst nightmare they could ever have. It is possible MLF will not even exist after all is said and done. This cascades into quite a few people being out of a job. At first they did not know if it was widerspread. That is the reason they did more testing, then MLF made the decision to recall everything made at that plant. Seriously, this could have been a lot worse. Food distrobution on the scales that happen today would blow most of your minds.

I love those unique lookin planes. They are so out of place with the rest of the planes, it is easy to pic it out. The one thing that I love most abotu the Rapide was that the pilot sat in the middle, up at the front. Great view from that seat.

It already works outside Russia. It even works in Canada. You can also replace Spears with, Brangelina, Madonna, and other hollywood performers.

How Many Houses Does John McCain Own?

I told you that they would not beleive you, even if you put it into your own words. I just call em like I see em. -
And on the same note, if the White House does not want something on the front page, they know how to inform an editor. Goes both ways. it is called Propaganda .. er Public Relations.

It is also disingenuous. It is also trolling. It also makes you look like an ass. It also makes you look arrogant. But if this is what you are going for, then by all means. But you are aware trolling is against forum rules, right? Don't hate the player, hate the game. Unless the player does not know what game he is playing. -

Even if he did answer in his own words, you would say he is lying, or it is bul, or something like that. Double edge sword. It is something I have seen here way too often. -

Shady Actually is sperates the wealth AFTER the marriage is over. Hence the reason for the prenup. While they are married, it belongs to the both of them. So you are right, don't blame the law. Blame your understanding of what a prenup is. I am no fan of McCain, but I will argue that some of Cindy's business relationships before the marriage will stay that way during the marriage. McCain has nothing to do with it and I will guess, Cindy just wants to keep that seperate. -
Soldiers Killed in Afghanistan
GostHacked replied to August1991's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Part of why the thread exists in the first place. Jdobbin Now the ally that Musharef was, is now gone. Al-Queda and Bin Laden are said to be hiding out in Pakistan. So, let's get our asses into Pakistan now. Why not? What is the difference? ==This is false. The Taliban had wiped out opium crops and other drug related crops. This was something they strongly beleived in. == Edit - Jdobbin, I apoligize, I missread your post. It is alarming that they are using a drug to fund the war that they wanted to eradicate.. to me this makes no sense at all. http://www.newyorker.com/reporting/2007/07...a_fact_anderson So if it is against their ways, why would they grow opium and sell it to fund their war? Why is it, that soon after Aghanistan was invaded and the Taliban ousted, opium crops skyrocketed. It is now the #1 opium producer in the world. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/...pium-trade.html Does it not seem odd to you that the Taliban is making money off of something they wanted to eradicate alltogether?? Does this make any sense to any of you? Did something fundamentaly change with the Taliban? http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2001/sep/2...stan.terrorism8 So because the US invaded, the Taliban said, go ahead and grow it.. it should give us money. And now Afghanistan is the opium capitol of the planet. http://query.nytimes.com/gst/fullpage.html...75AC0A96E958260 Looks like the US and parts of Eurpoe wanted to help the Taliban get rid of the opium crops. http://www.developments.org.uk/articles/op...tens-stability/ 10 years? Afghanistan had a record output in the late 90s. 98 was a big year. The taliban almost wiped all the opium crops by the time it was invaded in 2001. So the Taliban did it in less than 3 years. If they can do it in that short of a time span, so can Karzai and NATO. -
This sounds like a rant. I have a solution to your problem. Move away. So I guess the most leftist people, by your example, are homeless people. They are always jacked up on booze and drugs. Yes, this is facetious. Also, I might add, cocaine is quite dangerous. I have never touched the stuff. Ever think the cocaine is the reason he is such an ass?? It is a hell of a drug, from what I am told. I have a couple friends who do it now and then. He is not an immaure liberal. He is just immature.

Hisself .. dude post your links. Most of your posts are 'I hear that ..' ,, but no links .. providing them would be good. -

Open warfare in South Ossetia
GostHacked replied to moderateamericain's topic in The Rest of the World
First off, I am no expert on that area of the world. So I will claim ignorance for the most part. However, Argus .. there is a word at the beginning of that phrase you quoted from me... that word is 'IF'. Lemme help you out there Argus. The last part you convieniently leftout. So that can make it look like I was ranting on about the US. Which for that post was not the case. I do rant on about the US ... indeed.. but this was not one of the times. It does not matter if it was a province of Georgia, an 'autonomous' region at that. It is still within Georgia's borders. So more or less it would come down to a civil type war between Georgia and SO seperatists. And being within the borders of Georiga, Russia has no business being there in the first place. So how you get "EVIL YANKEE IMPERIALIST WARMONGERS MUST DIE" out of that, I have no clue. -
A.M. you are making me swoon. Sometimes, you just gotta call them out on it.

Obama Supports Infanticide?
GostHacked replied to Shady's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
The burden is on the desicion to abort. So .. could the woman sue the doctor for not peforming the job properly? The burden is on everyone to make sure the child gets what she/he needs after the failed procedure. What burdens happen there? If you look at the results compared to desired results, you will run into this. Well see that is the thing here, ain't it. IF you want an abortion it is because you do not want the baby. Women who want abortions do not go through with a Cesarian so the unborn can live. These abortions go into the 2nd trimester. 3rd trimester abortions are illegal in the US and Canada If the child is viable, the doctors will first try to get her to give the child up for adoption when born. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Late-term_abortion Abortion rates in the later trimesters drop drasticly compared to first trimesters. All because the chances of the baby surviving is greater. -
Obama Supports Infanticide?
GostHacked replied to Shady's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
My sister had an abortion at 14. 20 years later, it still bothers her. Her health was not at stake. My parents made the decision to abort. Doing that saved her life (in many other aspects) or it would have ripped our family apart. It was not an easy or a light decision. But it was made. At 14, she was not mentaly in the right spot to take care of a child. It is a full time job to take care of children. Once you have them, you are in it for the long run. There are so many children out there that did not have a good go from the start because of something similar to my sister's case. There is much more to consider when you want to make the choice. His name is Barack. People call him Barry because they I listened to that MP3 link a few times. You guys need to listen more carefully. -
Obama Supports Infanticide?
GostHacked replied to Shady's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
Only if the mother's health is at stake. Or did you miss all that? Shady Most of the doctors I have enountered in my life have empathy. Also when the decision is made to abort, you will have doctors doing it and not Obama or McCain. So, what you need to do is blame the doctors who actually carry out the so called sick practice. You can repeat the opposite as well. Does not make it any truer than what A.M. is saying. But to miss the post where she shows you the laws, pretty hard to go against that. These are the same posters/proponents who think Obama is a Muslim. -
So each other has some of the other's technology then. The B-2 is subsonic as well. You don't need to be fast if you cannot be seen.

For one, he is just a different type of human. I think it does bother him somewhat, or he would not have gotten out of it. He and I will still be friends at the end of the day. But in the 10 years we have not been in contact, both of our lives have drasticly changed. He may be disconnected from the battles, because of much of the stuff he did was remotley operated. Small C And by defending you mean, Patriot Act, FISA and warrentless wiretapping on US citizens.

Flags Over Westchester County, New York, USA
GostHacked replied to jbg's topic in Canada / United States Relations
Some spotted dick with chips maybe, some beer, and saurkraut and bratwursts. My Oma (rip) was born Polish. She cooked the german-esque foods quite often. I always loved the food she made. My Grandma is more of less of a baker. It would work the other way around, Grandma would cook dinner, and Oma would make the desserts. Those two made a great team in the kitchen. I never really ever said that I did not care for my Grandma's turkey stuffing. I ate it anyways. -
The US built a bomb, so did the Russians. It would be enough to say they developed a computer chip as well. Kind of needed them to control the new stuff. This is true. Were as China was just given all the technology. Most of the chips are made in Malaysia, China, Taiwan. About 90% of computer parts/peripherals have been made in China for the past decade. The US outsourced all the manufacturing. Russia could do the same thing. It will still say 'Intel Inside' no matter what you put on the outside. All you need to prove that is to throw one of those chips in a PC, run CPUZ or something similar, and it will still say ... Intel. AngusThermopyle The first Predator movie is a testosterone masterpeice. The second ... meh.. But this brings this question. Does life imitate art? Or does art imitate life? PoliticalCitizen I thought of that concept back in high school, (1988). The amount of transmitters and receivers that would be needed for that would be mroe than you would want to handle. My concpect was sattelites and groud receivers. You can count the missing signals. Sender .. yes. Receiver Yes Sender ... Yes. Receiver . no. ?? Sender, yes, receiver 2, no. It would be hard to track it ..and changing the wavelenth of the signal will still not get the results you are looking for. The f-117 is not only very stealthy in radar signiature, the exhaust is also cooler than most planes. Rendering thermal seekeing missiles.. almost useless.
