  1. “We must ensure that every candidate for immigration undergoes a face-to-face interview and answers a series of specific questions to assess the extent to which they align with Canadian values and societal norms.”  Maxine Bernier

  2. “What was challenging for me coming from the disciplined, highly process-oriented ExxonMobil corporation,” Tillerson said, was “to go to work for a man who is pretty undisciplined, doesn’t like to read, doesn’t read briefing reports, doesn’t like to get into the details of a lot of things, but rather just kind of says, ‘This is what I believe.’ ”

“So often, the president would say, ‘Here’s what I want to do, and here’s how I want to do it,’ and I would have to say to him, ‘Mr. President, I understand what you want to do, but you can’t do it that way. It violates the law.’ ”
    - Rex Tillerson former Secretary of State

Their a propaganda arm of the Chinese government.  Even issuing statements to the world based on what China tells them, even without being able to validate the claims.  Trump is right, funding to the WHO needs to be seriously questioned.

  4. “Efforts to reject the votes of the Electoral College and sow doubt about Joe Biden’s victory strike at the foundation of our republic. It is difficult to conceive of a more anti-democratic and anti-conservative act than a federal intervention to overturn the results of state-certified elections and disenfranchise millions of Americans." - former VP candidate and speaker of the House Paul Ryan

  5. The conservative author Rod Dreher last week tweeted a screen-shot of an online town hall meeting organised by the Northwestern University Law faculty. At the meeting each white faculty member at this hugely prestigious centre of American intellectual excellence begins with a self-denunciation. “I’m Jim Speta. And I am a racist,” the interim dean of the School says in the meeting chat thread leaked to Dreher. “My name is Emily Mullin. I am a racist and a gatekeeper of white supremacy. I will work to be better,” wrote another distinguished legal scholar.

  7. A federal judge on Thursday dismissed a lawsuit against Fox News after lawyers for the network argued that no "reasonable viewer" takes the primetime host Tucker Carlson seriously, a new court filing said.

  8. Advertising agencies and their corporate wokeism now think it necessary to have a black face central in just about every single TV advert — always black, almost never Indian, Chinese or Bangladeshi.

This irks the public, not because they object to seeing black faces but because they understand that they are once again being hammered over the head by patronising and frankly racist corporate wokeism.  - Ron Liddle
  9. Canada has managed to cultivate a culture that is simultaneously self-hating and self-righteous. We have no pride in being Canadian. Yet we are confident we are better than everyone else.  -  Meghan Murphy

The federal government said it donated a contract for ten million doses of Johnson & Johnson’s COVID-19 vaccine earlier this year after getting a clear sign from provinces that they weren’t interested in the vaccine.

If the provinces didn't want them why should the feds keep them?

  11. In a nutshell, a healthy society, or nation, is much like an ecological system, it takes a long time to find an equilibrium and is far more fragile than it is given credit for. So my main argument against Mass Immigration is that it degrades, or destroys, culture and social cohesion. - found on the internet

Progressives make up about 10% of Canadians. Most are young, stupid and shallow. Though there's a sprinkling of older people with early dementia among them. They are, by and large, losers filled with anger and bitterness at everyone who has done better than them in life - which is most people. They are a cancer on any society as they hate that society and its members and long to destroy it and punish its members. They consider anyone who doesn't think like them as a virtual non-human who should have no rights, and are authoritarian by nature, as are all Socialists.

  12. There is a real misconception being spread around, that people who are against mass immigration are hateful, this is wrong, for me this is all about love. Love of my identity, my culture, my countrymen and my country. I don't hate or wish violence on anyone, I simply want us to be left as we are. -- found on reddit

Thanks for the geography lesson, the point being what happened to Europe is from MASS immigration, implying that it is not the problem is being dishonest.

  17. The highest-paid constable in the London Metropolitan Police Service earns the equivalent of $67,757 per year. In Vancouver, meanwhile, a comparable $64,513 is what a recruit earns in their first year.  Base pay for 1st class constable in Ottawa will rise to $100k next year.

We could at least make do dual duty, as emergency paramedics. Some US jurisdictions do that. They're often first on scene anyway. We could also insist they all get black belts. Police in Japan do that. Maybe they could avoid shooting some people then.

People do things for their friends they don't do for others. They include their friends in things they wouldn't include others in. There are any number of occasions when it would be very, very helpful to this country to be the US's best friend in the world. There are none where we are better off being more distant.

I’m sure the next time we sign a treaty with them, or let their planes land in an emergency, or send some firefighting crews down there, they will call us their BFF and we can be happy again knowing they still love us.

  19. Lack of export pipelines forces Canada to sell cut rate oil to the US. The US then exports it from its own terminals at world price for profits of $38 million per DAY.

They should have just bulled their way through, but like always, they cared too much about losing votes in southern BC. This government is no paragon of virtue either. While the US has been cutting red tape and bureaucracy for their oil industry we have been adding to it.

I love it.  Your hated Trump would have pipelines built in a minute.  Too bad you want him impeached.  Who knows, maybe there'll be another left winger who wins the White House from Trump, and you can bitch and moan for another 4 years.

  20. According to the International Society for Human Rights, a secular observatory based in Frankfurt, Germany, 80 per cent of all acts of religious discrimination in the world today are directed at Christians. Statistically speaking, that makes Christians by far the most persecuted religious body on the planet. - The Spectator
