I'm not sure anyone can stop this woke insanity now. It's everywhere and we are being bombarded with it. Anything and everything is racist apparently. Kamala Harris claims something about the dispersion of trees is racist. Mayor Pete claims roads are racist. It's way beyond discussing oppression, it's about laying a permanent guilt trip on white people. The vast majority of white people have nothing to do with the sins of the past which were admittedly terrible. This woke mindset is actually like a new religion and a fanatical one at that. Very profitable too. Lot's of money to be made by stirring the pot.

No doubt all of those people are typical low information left wing voters. Much of this could have and should have been avoided if Democrat politicians would have let law enforcement do their jobs and prevent BLM/Antifa from rioting whenever they want. I hope Kyle Rittenhouse will soon be able to live a normal life because all along he was the victim in this case.

Trudeau vows to limit oil and gas development in Canada

The vast majority of climate scientists are telling us we face a crisis and we have to act. No such survey has ever been taken. The surveys that have been taken say that scientists agree greenhouse gases have a warming influence and it may create some problems in the future, but they don’t agree it’s a crisis. In fact, the last IPCC Report concluded: “For most economic sectors, the impact of climate change will be small relative to the impacts of other drivers. Changes in population, age, income, technology, relative prices, lifestyle, regulation, governance, and many other aspects of socioeconomic development will have an impact on the supply and demand of economic goods and services that is large relative to the impact of climate change.” The real crisis is that we are being fed so much misinformation on the issue. So you're saying you don't believe the science? The “science" makes a lot of different claims based on a lot of different lines of evidence. You can't "believe" all of it because it's full of inconsistencies. Do you believe the scientific data that shows less warming than predicted by climate models? Or the science that shows hurricanes aren't more frequent or more severe? I certainly don't believe alarmist interpretations of the science that cherry-pick computer simulations and try to frighten us with implausible worst-case scenarios. A better question is whether you mainly believe the models or the data, because in a lot of key areas they disagree with each other. -
Trudeau vows to limit oil and gas development in Canada

I would suggest that since almost all democratic world leaders do an enormous amount of talking on the subject of global warming they are the one's that have an huge amount of financial resources at their disposal. They have been extremely effective in manipulating public opinion too since most people seem to think the world as we know it will end in 10 years give or take. And I believe there are more than only one solution to this supposed man-made problem. Adapting to the change rather than reversing it seems to make much more sense. I fear that common sense will lose out in this battle. Remember that for all the bleating coming from our leaders they themselves have absolutely no intention of changing their own gigantic carbon footprint lifestyles. That's for the little people like us to endure and shoulder the entire burden. -

Ontario needs to invest in EVs as a realistic Option.

I'm not certain but it seems Canada's emissions are continuing to rise under Justin Trudeau. Oil and SUVs: Why Canada's emissions have risen since Trudeau took office (climatechangenews.com) I don't know what the future holds and have nothing against anyone pushing for electric cars but they are not for everyone. -

How to end America's Cultural/Civil War

I'm pretty sure there were plenty of abortions , gay marriages etc during Trump's term. No real impediments to the right to vote either. Special bathrooms? Male washrooms, female washrooms. How many different kinds do you guys want? How about the right to free speech and the right to bear arms? Are you capable of making your point without hurling insults? -

I'm not a small business owner but I'll wager the mom and pop businesses which don't have huge resources will have a difficult time paying employees these higher wages. -

I'm pretty certain that there will have to be a massive hike in the cost of electricity to replace gas tax revenue. The 11% figure comes from a clip on Motoring TV. I'm not against anyone wanting and buying an electric car but I don't like the subsidies. -

There will be issues with electric cars too that nobody likes to talk about. I'm all for innovation and for letting the free market decide. In Canada the figure I've seen from a few years ago suggests that cars are responsible for 11% of the emissions . -

I thought I would check out the Lincoln Project website to see what they're all about. There is most certainly a lot of vitriol directed at the Republican party and virtually nothing negative about the Democrats and their fast track to the extreme left. Yes they do absolutely suffer from Trump Derangement Syndrome. They Lincoln Project is Republican like Nicolle Wallace is Republican.

Virginia election is tonight so I'll predict the Dems win. Something about 200,000 plus absentee ballots already in and over 100,000 yet to be received. It sounds like it might be close but when I heard about all those ballots floating around I figured it's likely already in the bag( pun intended) for the Dems.?
